5 ...  · Great – The wife has started buying this body wash. It's fantastic, now she's getting the grandkid some freaky Friday
2 Annette  · Product has changed – It’s changed in consistency, too gel like. No longer using.
5 Leszek  · Fantastic – Love using this product very cremey and soap free. So hard to get in NSW not many woolies, coles or pricelines stores carry the stock.

Assuming we are talking about Health Basics - Derma Plus Soothe, then this is one of the best products I have ever bought. I've used it for years and it always makes my old skin feel hydrated and silky smooth. Whenever I try something else because it's in the cupboard and I ran out, it's disappointing. I've recommended this product to many people over the years and only had positive feedback. This is one of the good things in life! Show details

I never thought a product designed for sensitive skin would contain fragrance. Couldn't have read ingredients anyway without a magnifier. It exacerbated my skin rash. Why do manufacturers insist on adding cheap perfumes to products when people who like using fragrance invariably have their own? Show details

My Body Itched all over after using this! – I am 73 years old and have suffered since puberty with what has been diagnosed as Psoriasis by a long list of GPs and Specialists, one of which told me never to wash with soap. At that time (1962 - 1974) I was a wheat/sheep farmer clearing scrub land with an open tractor cab, plus many other farm activities and always came home covered in dirt,… Read more

so it was not practical to take that advise. I eventually left the farm and enjoyed a long Real Estate Sales career, rarely washed with soap and if I did, my fingers would crack and bleed to the point I was wearing up to 10 Bandaids at a time, which was very embarrassing. My wife recently discovered Dermaplus Soothe and I thought I had "Struck the Jackpot" but unfortunately it made me Itchy all over. What am I doing wrong? Having Psoriasis isn't Fun!

Best product – This is the best product I have found but finding it very hard to get her in Queensland Australia I live on the Sunshine coast and can not find it in the shops , I need to find it desperately as my skin is beginning to suffer and as I can not use anything perfumed this is my ideal product with the Aloe Vera in it .

Best body wash ever – Without a doubt the best body wash I've ever used. Lovely subtle fragrance, fantastic lather and so gentle on my sensitive skin. Skin feels so smooth and soft after using it. I absolutely love it!

Health Basic Dermaplus Soothe – I final found a product that doesn't send my body into instant rash, but then they decided to change the product and now it burns my skin, I am hunting down any old stock at any store I can find it in Perth. Show details

Going backwards – Extremely disappointed with the new Health Basics Skin IQ body wash which has increased in price and seems to have overtaken Health Basics Dermaplus Soothe on the shelves at Woolworths and Coles. The Skin IQ formula has an odd aroma, like a damp smell. It leaves your skin during and after wash feeling dry. I hope the Dermaplus Soothe formula… Read more

continues to make it on to the shelves, it has a fresh aroma, creamy texture, leaving your skin feeling refreshed not to mention cheaper than Skin IQ.

Misleading Labeling – Label claims to be Soap-free and while traditional soap is made with Lye (or Sodium Hydroxide) modern day soaps usually contain certain chemicals as foaming agents. The worst of these are Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate and Ammonium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate. Both of these ingredients are used in this product. I believe the labeling needs to be more… Read more

specific in telling the public what exactly “soap-free” means. This is by no means a ‘natural’ product, in contrast several brands of ‘soap’ now use all natural products with no nasty chemicals.

For those with sensitive skin please be wary of false advertising! This product would also be very bad for babies and young children as their skin is extra sensitive to harmful chemicals.

Best body wash in my entire life – I bought Health Basics body wash out of curiosity ("contains no soap", the label read). In my 60 years, I've never felt my skin so healthy! You do need to rub your body a bit more diligently, but the effect is super satisfying, and until your next shower your skin is a lot better off. Congratulations to whoever developed this formula! Show details

Rope taken away from shower/hair shampoo – I agree with other patrons of your products! why, why, why, take away a fantastic product! It was so easy to use the upside bottle hanging on a rope on the shower head! I think your design department needs to listen to customers. On the upside, if there is one, I suppose I'm helping the environment by decanting hair/body shampoo in the larger… Read more

Carcinogenic properties – Any so called health product should not include SLS. So peeved when I finally realised my psoriasis inflammation was because of this. Thought I was buying a good product but reading the labels closely its full of nasties. Sorry but you lost me as a customer .Rating should be minus as you endorse "healthy" as meaning your ingredients. But just say with calendula and chamomile. Think we are all stupid?

Body Wash on a rope – I am disabled & the body wash in a bottle with a rope was ideal for me & helped me to independently wash myself without my carer having to do the washing.

Disappointing since taking the rope away – Why change a good thing. Please bring back your previous 'hanging' type . How much room does one have in the shower.? What with shampoo and other necessities all taking up room. When using pump types weight is challenging to shelves.

beautiful product – A lovely gentle product which doesn't dry the skin with a very subtle fragrance. By far the best that I have ever tried & that has been many. The price is very reasonable too.

Love! – Love this body wash, I have tried all other washes for sensitive skin and this is by far the best - the problem, its hard to find. I used to buy in Priceline and now they don't stock. I now buy in Woolworths but they just have 1 product, when you go on the Health Basics website in NZ, they have an amazing range, it would be great if in Australia we could get access to the entire range

Best on the market – Have been using this product for years - best on the market but finding it harder to obtain here in Australia. I particularly like the bottle which can be hung up on the shower tap and just squeezed. Excellent product and great idea for those less able to remove lids etc. or to bend down. Lathers well and is a good buy, lasts for ages.

Great for sensitive skin – Have been using the green type in the big bottles for years. My skin is hypersensitive and this is the only thing I have found to minimize the itch. Would be good to get rid of the coloring a in it though... It is also impossible to find it in the smaller bottle at Woolies... Great for sensitive skin and relatively cheap to buy Use of colorings and can't find the smaller size...

Good – I've recently stumbled upon this product at Carrefour & the whole family just loves it! Strangely enough, I have visited Carrefour a couple of times looking for it but with no success. I wonder who there distributors are here? Rizwan, Dubai Excellent body wash. Nice moisturized feeling. Can't find anymore in Dubai :(

Good – Products that I used previously would leave my skin dry and itchy. I noticed this product in a persons bathroom when I was looking at a house that was for auction. I didn't buy the house but I did buy the Vitamin-E version of the body wash. 6 years later I am still using it despite a huge number of new body wash products that have hit the market.… Read more

Thoroughly recommended if other products dry out your skin. Leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised without the drying out my skin like other body washes I have used. Nice fragrances. The 1ltr pump bottle lasts the family for ages.

Excellent – The clincher for me was when my boyfriend (who is as un-metrosexual as you can get) commented on how soft & smooth his skin was after using this body wash. Lovely stuff! I love this product. I have used it since 1999 when I saw it in my friend's bathroom in New Zealand. Bought some then in NZ & have been buying it ever since in Australia. Refills aren't always easy to find

best product on the market by far – I have been using this product with my family for more than ten years. We used the sorborlene body wash for many years and I stocked up when the product was discontinued. WE now use the aloe Vera body wash. You don't have to use a lot to get a good wash, therefore economical and lasts a long time.  Show reply

High quality product – This body wash is one of my favourites. It comes in a range of different fragrances which smell nice and leave you feeling fresh and clean. It also leaves a slight fragrance on the skin even after washing it off, which I find very nice. The packaging is modern and attractive and the bottle is large, so for me it lasts a while. Whilst the product… Read more

very nice. The packaging is lovely and the bottle is somewhat large, so it does last a while. The price is sort of expensive but it isn't too bad. Best to buy it when it is on sale.

Excellent – I love this product. The dermaplus is great for all members of my family including young children and those with very dry skin. It has a rich creamy texture and feels very soap but without drying your skin like soap can. My skin does not get that tight feeling after use like you can get with soap. It is cheaper than some of the bigger brands. We… Read more

use the version that comes in the pump pack which I find very convenient. I would highly recommend this product. Soap-free but not drying, reasonably priced, feels luxurious against your skin, thick texture

Good – I have used the Health Basics body wash numerous times and it has never caused any irritation to my skin. Because it is a thick formula, it doesn't get wasted like other products I have used which simply fall through my shower sponge. This product lathers up better than other body washes I have used - and you do not need a lot of it. The formula… Read more

is thick, so you do not waste the product. The formula is also soap-free - I have found it does not irritate my skin or my children's skin. Has a nice fragrance. It isn't the cheapest body wash on the market (or the most expensive, however).

Excellent – This stuff is great on your skin and I found it to be gentle on the skin unlike other liquid washes that can leave that dry tight feeling. They arent as highly perfumed and smells great. The price is an absolute bargain compared to other brands in the same size bottle. I would buy this again. Value for money, pleasant fragrance selection, size, lasts long, dont have to use a large amount

Good – This really is a good basic health all over wash product. It has a good fragrance, texture and lather and works well with a cleansing puff. This product is very cheap. There seems to be a bit of a dollar-per-100ml price factor going on in the body wash section in Woolies, and this one smashes that. The soap is mild and definitely appropriate for… Read more

delicate feminine areas.

I use the soothing aloe vera type. I enjoy the fragrance (it grew on me, at first it reminded me of old people's houses for some reason. Now it doesn't.), and it has an excellent texture and rich lather.

When it first comes out it shimmers like high quality shampoo. The isn't busy-looking and anoying. I find the pump function really hard to start sometimes. Last time I gave up on my new one and raplaced the top with that of my old pump bottle.

Good – i love that this product has the plastic hook that enables you to attach it to a tap or the top of the shower as there is no shelving in my shower and i hate having to put your body wash or shampoo down on the ground while you work it in only to have to pick it up in 30 seconds. it is also alot tidier and cleaner, instead of all the clutter at the… Read more
