Excellent – Unfortunately you can not buy these in stores anymore :( However, you will still find them online. I bought the 8gb (the 16 never made it to Aus) in March 08. I did my research and found this to be the best MP3/Media player in the market (at the time) ...yes better than the ipod/touch. First off the sound quality is AMAZING (far better than any ipod). It has a wide screen LCD ..however encoding mpeg/divx files to play on it is a bit hit and miss. ..however with the right software it can be done. It has a radio, it records (radio and voice),it has bluetooth for cordless speakers (yes you will loose some sound quality, as with any BT audio) and paring to a mobile phone. It stores and displays photos. It looks and feels fantastic (be sure to use a scratchproof skin). Inbuilt games, maps, fun stuff.. You can update the firmware from Samsung and improve the functionality. This MP3 player sounds better than any other I have tried. Sound Quality, Clear Wide screen LCD, Size, Storage, it's NOT an iPod! Support from Samsung: Both online and face to face.
