There must be better ones – This does the job well but both the glass jug and the base are very heavy. It is quite awkward remove the jug from the base when it is full. It is also difficult to clean below the blades. There are better ones out there. Cheap is not necessarily best and I would not recommend it.
Wish I'd read the reviews! – Just used mine for the first time and found the lid won't stay on while it is operating even for a few seconds. I had to hold it down at the risk of being rattled out of my skin. The alternative was to have the makings of my pumpkin soup fly all over the kitchen. It only cost me $5 as I had a $30 gift card, it was on the shelf for $39 and turned… Read more
out to be on special for $35. As stated above, it made me feel like a milkshake as I had to hold the lid all the time it was operating.
Waste of money – After reading the reviews on here, there is probably no point in adding another. This product is terrible. My hubby bought this blender from Woolworths for $30. It does it's job. It blends things. But, after first use, I could not figure out how to remove the blades for proper (and hygenic!), cleaning. There is no mention on the box, and only in… Read more
the instruction booklet does it say "Note: A bottle cleaning brush may be used to clean under and around the fixed blade assembly." This is not really adequate, and certainly not hygenic! I've never known a blender to not come apart for cleaning. Put your money towards a better product! Nothing Does not come apart for cleaning, causing food and mould build up. Flimsy lid. Plastic measuring up actually fell through the white lid, and was blended up with the food! Waste of money, and waste of food!
Unsafe at any speed – I hate hate hate hate it. I hate myself for buying it. Impossible to keep clean. Flimsy lid. Heavy glass bowl. Grease comes out of bearings. Consumers - Don't buy it. It was cheap. Unhygenic
Rubbish – Don't waste your money. You can't take it apart to clean it properly so soon even with the most fastidious care it becomes dirty and unhygienic and you are blending in bacteria with every smoothie. It is impossible to look under the blades to see if it has been cleaned properly and if you forget to rinse it and wash it immediately after use so the… Read more
foodstuffs dry in it then you may as well throw it out.
Build quality and not coming apart for cleaning
The worst blender ever made --- would warrant minus stars if it was available – Bought it year and half ago (naturally will breakdown soon after warranty has expired!!!)...motor is dead as a dodo...cable has no breaks (checked it)...variable switch area is receiving power(checked with voltmeter)...maybe the hamster in the motor had a lifespan of a year or so. Had a 'Ronson' Blender that lasted 20+ years, if i could find one i… Read more
would buy it.
Barely used this so called modern appliance....what is the point of going to the trouble of manufacturing inferior products like this, what a waste of resources....don't these corporations have any concern for the planet and the consumer.
Would not recommend it to anybody Did not like anything about it....bought as a replacement Motor ceased functioning after one and a half years of barely any operation
There is also a thermal fuse protecting the stator windings. I had similar problem where motor… Read more (+1 reply)
Cheap and nasty – Cleaning properly is impossible. The plastic lid split where the transparent cap sits and it fell into the blender. Buy something else. Inexpensive Cheap, nearly impossible to clean properly. Cap split with normal use.
Bad – What use is a blender that you can't disassemble for cleaning??? No other blender I have had has been like this. Maybe it should be noted prominently on the box this is the case. Seems ridiculous to not be able to be undone, possibly to save little or no money in the cost. Please fix this Kambrook! blends well no being able to disassemble the jug from the blades for cleaning - food gets stuck
OK – Good for blending cold ingredients for personal consumption. For hygienic use without chemical cleaners needs to be dishwasher safe. Food particles get caught between the outside of the jar and the blade assembly and are impossible to remove. The inner seal is good. Can't complain at the ultra cheap $44.99 Woolies price. Powerful, quiet, blends… Read more
chopped carrots & veges into a smoothie in no time.
very cheap in Woolies at $44.99 . KBL100 manual says: "Do not attempt to disassemble the blender jug from the blade assembly." Not dishwasher safe. Not on Kambrook website.
Bought two seems not good quality but keep recepit to replace.
Terrible – [censored word removed] blender waste of $$$. Not able to wash jug properly as food gets stuck between jar and blade base..... Than has to put in the bin... would not recommend even at $44 at wollies.......... Only giving this blender a rating so i can submit my comments.... Good nothing....... 2 many 2 name
