Still going strong after 10 years – I've had my Wizz for about ten years now and it's still going strong. I make smoothies daily, soups, pesto, and more. However...it;'s got a pretty gross bacteria buildup under the glass blender component (between the glass and plastic bottom) and I cannot find how to remove and clean it.
Excellent unit, it's a shame its discontinued – An excellent buy for $99.00, it does a great job as a blender. You occasionally have to stop and tamp the food down, all the blenders I have owned have had this issue so no big deal. All blenders are noisy. Food processor is great for vegies and blade chops nuts and breadcrumbs etc.
OK – The food processor is good and efficient and the blender part is ok. It's an excellent all in one gadget if you can live with the noise. The food processor is excellent especially with a broken wrist. The blender is ok but bits can get stuck. It is very compact and processes beautifully. It's sooooo NOISY. Especially for the cost I wasn't excepting it to be so loud. We also tried to get it fixed.
Terrible – Wouldn't recommend it at all. You can buy a better, quieter one and it will pobably be better. So buy something different is all i can say unless you WANT to go deaf. which i don't think you do! Blends okish. I've seen better but it's not bad at all. How many words do you need to write to get 10 points. I reckon if i keep talking smack it wil get to 10 points eventually, oh there we go. i got it =D It's just SO noisy. i would just buy something that blends juast as good if not better and it would be quieter. Also the size can be an issue if you're trying to prepare something bigger. What do you do with reward Points??
OK – I made soup and put in blender and the glass cracked! Do not put hot liquids into it! Only downside now have to buy a replacement jug as not covered under warranty. Al in one gadget Noisy!
