Nilfisk Power Series

A great cleaner! – This is the best vacuum I've ever owned! I can't recommend it highly enough. Everything is bigger, better, more efficient and effective. Everything that annoyed me about my previous cleaners is perfect on this model. The power cord is longer than average, the pipe fittings fit together properly and don't fall apart whilst cleaning. It has… Read more
HEAPS of suck, quieter than any other model I've ever owned. The bag is larger so needs emptying less. The extending pipe length is longer (perfect for my tall husband).
Very disappointed!!!! – Have loved using the Nilfisk in the past as its a great brand of vacuum. With 3 asthmatics in the house and a cat i thought this was going to be a great buy, but it is very disappointing as it keeps shorting out. It was replaced in December 2013 as it stopped working and the motor had gone, then December 2014 it has happened again i think there… Read more
is a real dud with this one and I'm just glad that there is a 5 year warranty on them. Has made me a little concerned now with getting another one. Plus not enough repair centers for the domestic Nilfisk vacuums.
Fantastic little vacuum – I bought this as a present for myself when I moved out of home. I was looking for a good vacuum cleaner and wasn't worried about the price because I wanted it to last. The man at The Good Guys was really helpful and sold me on this vacuum and I haven't looked back. Three years on it's still going strong! The replacement bags are a little costly… Read more
but so worth it, I've tried some of the cheaper general purpose bags and they don't offer the same dust collection capacity.
With two dogs, a small child and a dusty/sandy environment this vacuum cleaner just keeps working and working! Even after hubby tried to break it sucking up brick dust while he was doing some renovating - a cleanout and it's good as new.
It came with all the attachments and I think they are great. We occasionally get issues with the long pipe blocking with fur, but it's easy to clean with some tapping outside or cleaning it with a broom handle, and for the suction I get when it's not blocked I really don't mind the odd clean out. The suction, the way it just keeps going Replacement bags are a little expensive - but you pay for the quality.
Great Value – I purchased the Nilfisk P40 vacuum cleaner online and on sale. When I received the vacuum I was amazed at the number of accessories that came with a vacuum below mid pricing range. This vacuum is quiet, effective and of the quality I expect from Nilfisk minus the hefty outlay. Very long cord, Quiet, Powerful, The quality is exceptional with all… Read more
plastic parts being very durable. Well done Nilfisk it making an economical, quite and well made machine! Very small dust bag. The bags are expensive at $17.00 for 4.
Fantastic – Purchased a very expensive vacuum cleaner took it back as it had terrible suction. Replaced it with the Nilfisk P20 and I LOVE this little beauty. Suction is so good that it slightly lifts the carpet and on hard floors it sucks up crumbs that are not even close to the head... just how a vacuum cleaner should perform. If they continue to build them… Read more
like this I will keep buying this brand. Very happy customer.... Great Price, Excellent suction power, very quiet, long cord, looks neat, 5 year warranty Cant fault it at all...
Great stuff, worth the investment – It is the best vacuum I ever have. It has good long wire compare to my previous on, nearly 2x as long. Very quiet, good suction and much easier to use. Yet to fill-up the first bag so not sure how long it last but I vacuum weekly the whole house. It do come with 5 bags in the package and ever a small Turbo brush although a normal one will be… Read more · 1
even better.
I get it for < AUD300 at HN mid-year sales and it come with 5 yrs warranty. 5yr Warranty, Quiet No Full Turbo brush
Great suction but keeps shutting down – I bought this vacuum cleaner after reading some great reviews about Nilfisk. This is a nifty little machine, quiet, easy to pull around but there are a few problems which are deal breakers for me. The first problem is the hose where it joins into the metal tube. The hose is connected into a plastic type of thing which is then clipped into the… Read more
metal tube (sorry, Im not very technical). It seems to be very week and I can hear the air leaking out of this area. For a part of a vacuum cleaner than needs to be tough, this is a design flaw.
The second and more significant problem is that the machine just 'shuts down'. I think it is overheating. This is a significant problem when I only have done half a rug. It has great suction but after about 5 mins it changes slightly, the sound of the machine changes slightly, then it just stops. Investigations of the filter areas showed extreme heat coming from the area closest to the motor.
It happens pretty much every second or third time I use it. I get frustrated and put it back in the cupboard and the next time I pull it out, it's working again. I could understand this happening if my house was wall to wall shag pile but I have ONE rug and the rest is polished floors.
I would love to love this machine, because when it does work it's fabulous. But I just can't trust it to do the job when I need it to be done. Size, suction Keeps shutting down. Flimsy connections.
Worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned – I had heard good things about Nilfisk, but while it sucks okay when there is no floor attachment, it simply doesn't pick up. I end up with the nozzle, on my hands and knees, trying to clean the floor. It also blocks very easily, have to clean it half way through each use, and again at the end. After just a short time I have to replace it. It simply does not work. inexpensive Simply doesn't pick up on either carpet or polished floors.
Nilfisk Power Special – Excellent vacuum cleaner bought for under $300 from Myer. They price matched on the power p20 from Good Guys (which does not include hardfloor tool). The power turbo head and hard floor tool are a must and both work well. A bag system is the only one supported by allergy groups. Smallish bag but still good. The bigger nilfisk had a bigger… Read more
bag, but was heavier and I am very happy with the impressive results of this tiny wonder.
Did a lot of research into this hardly advertised product and found it came up trumps.
Miele have a very delicate system to connect bags into, that looks like it would break easily.
Lighter and smaller than many other brands.
Great suction Great range of heavy duty tools and heads. Not fragile plastic like Dyson. No messy containers/filters to clean.
