Would not recommend this unitI’ve been really unhappy with this monitor and wouldn’t recommend it at all. There is a constant buzz emitted from the baby camera which gets picked up on the parent unit. This then means that the parent unit is constantly on... Read more and making a sound. It’s very annoying if you (the parent) are trying to sleep at night. The battery also gets drained within 2hrs unless it is connected to a charger because the parent unit never switches off.
The oricom support team was very helpful and responded to my emails quickly about the concern. They also sent me out two new cameras to try (I cant fault customer service)x As the problem has remained though, I think it is probably just a fault with the design of the whole system.

Great product, great customer serviceThis product has provided relief and peace of mind around our babies sleeping at night. When babies can roll you do worry about them breathing facedown on a mattress, but the Bsbysense7 breathing monitor is reliable.

I dont know why battery is swollen in the first place a bit disappointed in that, so now need to pay $40 for a new battery. To be fair customer service was good and got back to me quickly.

Has light functions as well as sounds and a microphone so you can talk to your baby through it. I had one small issue with one camera only with the lighting function and received a replacement in 2 days!!! Great customer service on how quick everything was!!
Can’t fault this monitor.
(I don’t use it through wifi so cannot comment about the app)

I called and again cx service is great they are sending a new monitor, I have to pay for shipping though again. So good monitor and camera when they work, but really have had to many issues for it to be worth it.

Fair IncentiveCouldn’t live without my oricom monitor!The oricom guardian plus is a must for parents with a newborn! The camera was easy to set up, has great audio and image quality. I love using the wearable tracker as it gives an insight into the babies vitals, giving me complete peace of mind to know that my little one is sleeping safely. OBH650PNot with the high price tag!Ending up purchasing another brand. Poor image quality on monitor and had to re-pair it everytime we unplugged the camera. Eventually it just stopped pairing at all. Our new tweetycam is much better! So easy to use and less expensive!

Please please fix the charging portI have used many different monitors over the years as I have been a Nanny. I really like this monitor because of the large and clear picture on the parent unit and the ease of use, however we have gone through 3 at least. The... Read more same issue all the time. The charging point at the back on the parent unit becomes loose and then eventually it doesn't charge. I have replaced it many times under warranty and the customer service said it was a known fault and it had been rectified. Well today we again had to call up and replace it and I was told the same thing years later, so we will see if it lasts, or at least until we no longer need the use of baby monitors. The other fault I have notice is that the time of day will run at least 15 mins behind. Even though I set it 10-15 mins earlier eventually it lags and the time is 15 mins behind actual time.

Continually loosing connectionPoor range - looses connection between monitor and camera just outside room. Unable to silence battery / lost connection alarm leads to continual beeping - just have to turn the whole thing off. Not worth using. Show details

second camera not even a year oldThis camera is quite unreliable. I have had to have to camera replacement in not even a year as camera just stops connecting. the first one only lasted a week. customer service dont seem to care and just say the will send a new one. The temp control is really bad 4-5 degrees higher which is just annoying as it cant be calibrated. Show details

Absolutely no volumeScreen great features great but unless you have this unit 20cms from your ear even at the highest volume setting you can’t hear it.

And the parent unit just after 2 years could no longer be heard, t… Read more · 1he sound wasn’t coming through the parent unit, (it still came through on the app) but Oricom where amazing and are sending us a replacement parent unit as the device is less then 6 months outside of its warranty. So despite having a few issue, we’ve been impressed with replacements. The camera and parent unit when working, are amazing.

It is so nice to look at and is not like the … Read more · 1typical items on the market. 2- you can choose your own colour, a great incentive to get my toddler to bed (red is best for their nighttime sleep) but if blue gets him to stay in his room it’s a win for me! 3- you can program soo many sounds! We have older kids and the soother blocks out all that outside noise and moves away from the typical white noise, though that is a still an option. The sound is so crisp and even makes me drift off when I lay with him. You can also control via wifi from your phone, so many features yet very user friendly for setup and continued use. I underestimated how much our family loves this soother. Very happy with this reliable product!!
