I read the reviews and followed some advice which was to mix it in more water than prescribed and leave in the fridge overnight. Still too gluggy so I added milk . Now I can get through one shake over a day mixed in 450 mls of half water and half milk. The result is that my hunger is reduced so that I have very small nutritious meals. . The WPI in raw will only contain its natural taste, which is not typically recognised as sweet, noting everyone may have different tastes and determinations of what they feel is sweet and so forth. A test for this is easy, the first step is a taste test of the batch to determine if there is anything in the flavour profile out of the ordinary. The second is test is the amount of products sold to reported issues, in this case, no other reports out of several thousand kgs. More than happy to provide further info anytime :)

The Chemist Warehouse I buy them from has a "buy 2 boxes for $65" deal pretty consistently that means each sachet works out at just $1.54 per meal!
I opened a fresh box a couple weeks ago and was appalled by the taste and smell of it, super shocked, so I emailed the customer service line and heard back from them fairly soon :) They asked me to post 2 sachets to a reply paid address and they assessed them and agreed with me that there had been a dud batch, and will be sending replacement boxes out swiftly! Excellent customer service I'd say, along with a product I've been enjoying for nearly a year now.

I’ve tried vanilla with lite milk and that was too sweet for me also. Currently I am drinking vanilla with unsweetened almond milk and I enjoy the sweetness level however the product has a dusty after taste that I don’t enjoy. It doesn’t stop me from using it but it would be nice if the shake went down like an actual milk shake and if I found a shake that didn’t have the after taste I would change over.

The increases I noticed the most were fat loss around the mid section and chest, and an increase in mental focus, sharpness and mood. Muscle mass is virtually the same. The taste is fine for my liking, but for those who don't like Fenugreek or spices, it might come off as a bit unpleasant. Also, the high dosage of Fenugreek causes my sweat and urine to smell maple syrup-ish. To first timers of this product: don't expect a miracle in a few days. Give it a good 3-4 weeks to kick in, you won't be disappointed.
