Presentation was excellent and you could not help but feel you were a welcome guest. The food did not disappoint. Each person at our table (4) were very happy with their meal. The taste was really nice, as good as the original Singapore produced. It looks very hygienic too as each individual bakwa was wrapped and vaccumed very well. However, when I keep it for a bit over a month, on top of the jerky (inside the plastic) appears white stuff sticking to the meat, despite it has been vacuumed packed. The most probable reason is the way it was produced was not hygienic, that the jerky was contaminated with fungal spores in the air before they are being vaccumed packed. Please look after your QC Bakwa King, or you will lose your business.

Crayfish at a cost of $125 per half cray. When we arrived it was very noisy with golfers etc. We asked to be moved, which they did, but there was much grumbling and dirty looks directed to us from the staff, but we were relocated us to a quieter spot. That was ok and we waited for our Crayfish. When it arrived, 5 were lacking all legs, one had the full 1/2 crayfish (the rest of us only received the half tail). Plus they were very small crays. We asked the question and was told this was normal'; they said they could not afford to include the legs, etc , especially at the current price of crayfish, and it was a very difficult process to actually produce the legs - (we ascertained that they used our legs in a sauce they make for another meal - the surf and turf). They refused to accept that there was anything wrong in what they served. However, we saw several other people receiving their crayfish, and they all received the legs. No discount was afforded us. The next day, down at the wharf, we talked to several fishermen, and they claimed that the crayfish were selling at the lowest prices for quite a long time. ($40 per kg) We were with overseas visitors (2 that had come specifically to come to King Island), and we so embarrassed by the treatment from the staff and the quality of the food.... So, if I could give a rating of 0, I would. We go to King Island every year and the best place to get a full crayfish is Wild Harvest, but you have to book up to 6 months in advance for some weekends. Cape Wickham is a terrific golf course, but their dining is very poor and disappointing. The attitude of the head waiter was disgusting to say the least. and the response from the head cook was appalling. Go anywhere else.

server and asked for a plate for my daughter. I was told they only have bowls as share plates, these bowls are slightly bigger than their dipping sauce bowls. When I explained that I prefer a plate because the rice would fall out of the tiny bowls, the server said sorry No. Their plates are only used for serving dishes. Then she walked away. In the end I moved the some of the entrees in one plate and used that for my daughter. I was extremely disappointed in the server who lacked any basic understanding to a simple customer request. I was polite when I asked and was genuinely shocked with the response. I was asking for a plate while dining in a restaurant!
