The first time we used the app we were going home from the city bringing all our bags and toddler and pram so we planned ahead, downloaded the app and tried to book a trip from Surry hills NSW to Revesby and several times we got an error message saying try again later there is no available rides now. So we ended up having t pay double for a 132taxi with a car seat that came with no car seat and I felt it was such a risk.
The second time I attempted to use Sheba was on Sunday Feb 18 around Lunch time from Revesby to Dulwich hill l. This time I purchased a gift card from the Shebah website and loaded it onto the payments of their app. I do this so I can better manage my funds and avoid pending payments that settle a couple of days afterwards. Also so I can see if it works to book a ride in case they might have issues charging my card. I tried to book several times the same error happened as the first time. Try again later.
Ended up traveling with my toddler on public transport in sweltering heat for over an hour due to trackworks. I attempted again on our way back home and no luck again. This really disappointed me because I had hopes for this app and company who have the opportunity to corner a market that is untapped and In need of service.
The only available contact is an email address from their website. I had to look up the company registered name and contact to find a Victoria Landline.
I tried to contact the company via email and phone (left a message) asking for a refund of the $100 I spent for a service I was never able to use and have not received any response back yet.
I have now contacted my bank to dispute the payment I am hoping to resolve this and for better service in future.

Participating owners are all great in my experience, delighted to help clients enthusiastic about the EV future, and almost always flexible about dropoff/pickup, extending the rental etc. Tolls and charging fees take a little while to work their way through the system, but again, owners relaxed about that and me too.

GM TaxiPay rips off disabled people and couldn't care lessMy daughter has Down Syndrome and lives in the ACT. Twice each week she takes a taxi from the rank at Woden Shops to her home in nearby Phillip. She has a Taxi Concession Card and the trip usually costs her between $5 and $8.... Read more On 5th April she entered a GM Taxi at about 4:05 pm and arrived home at 4:20pm. On arrival she paid for the journey with her Mastercard as usual. Later that day while checking her bank balance online it was noticed that she had been charged $44.33 by GM TaxiPay for this trip.
On her behalf I queried this charge with GM Taxis and was sent a copy of an invoice which showed my daughter's card number against a journey from "Office" to Braddon, terminating at 4:21 pm. My daughter does not work in an office and caught the taxi at the Woden rank. Furthermore, Braddon is on the other side of Canberra City to where she lives. Because of her disability, we regularly track her via her mobile phone and we can state with certainty that she never made the trip shown on the invoice and had her Mastercard safely in her wallet while in Woden and Phillip.
The GM Taxi driver in this case has clearly taken advantage of a person with a disability who was unable to spot the scam and he should be ashamed of himself.
GM TaxiPay replied to my query with a promise to investigate "within 7 to 10 working days, but nothing further has been heard and all other attempts to contact them have been ignored. It's impossible to get any response on the NSW Taxi Fare Complaint Hotline as all operators are always busy, no matter how long you hold. DON'T USE GM TAXIS! They are dishonest and couldn't care less.

The driver called my brother 45 minutes after he left the airport and said she was ready for pick up. Seriously? All of the flight info was submitted as requested, so there was no question as to when he would be arriving.
My brother and I both have contacted Jayride FOUR TIMES, and have had no resolution. I prepaid $107, which was super expensive, but I thought “it’s my brother…” and I splurged. Big mistake. My brother grabbed another Uber on site and paid $50.
We have written, and called, and have had no resolution or assistance. The company outsources customer service to another country (I am guessing India based on dialect, but who knows) so it is a little tricky to communicate too.
My brother was able to speak with one representative who stated they cannot find the booking - funny, they took my money, but can’t find the booking - how convenient.
Frankly, I think this agency is a scam and I plan to spread the word as much as I can. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SERVICE.

45 mins later a filthly, old clapped out smelly bus turned up. What a welcome to my group arriving here for the first time.
A change of ownership so I guess nobody cared. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
This crappy service cost $250.

However, we were provided with only a 28-seat bus for 30 people confirmed for booking. The bus driver who spoke no English at all! The condition of the bus was very extremely poor and worlds away from the business travel we requested and paid for. There were no functioning air vent outlets, and many seats were missing the headrests. As the client, we have been deceived, received extremely poor and potentially illegal service, and incurred damage to our company’s business reputation

Better to catch a cab from AirportPre-ordered a Corporate Cab from Auckland Airport to the CBD on advice from the Quest. Not only didn't get any acknowledgement or email that the booking was made but charged waiting time and then offered the same service as a ride share with a small car. Waste of money and time. Get a taxi cab instead!
