Explore Planet Earth Speedy Mozzie Shelter
Verified Major Design FlawOrdered the Explore Planet Earth Speedy Mozzie Shelter online and upon receiving it I immediately unpacked it to ascertain its size. Straight away I realised the complete lower edge of the side with t…he zipper is not connected to the floor of the shelter, it just flaps in the wind. I have contacted Explore Planet Earth and they responded that this is how it is supposed to be. I have not used it in the field yet but do not believe it will be able to fulfill its purpose. If I am unable to return it I will try to modify it myself. |
Essteele Per Vita
Verified Quite surprisedI always jump on this site to warn others of disappointing products, so thought it was time to write a positive review. I had a quick think of any products that bring a smile to my face when using the…m and quickly thought of my Essteele Per Vita fry pans. I was worried about moving from non stick to stainless steel and now regret not making the move a lot earlier. Although stainless is harder to cook on (only initially), it actually forces you to learn how to cook properly and the results far exceed that of non stick (you'll see). The thick base holds and transmits heat well and the steel handles mean they can also be used in the oven to finish off steaks etc. (just like restaurants do). I have no issues at all cleaning them and every now and then when there is a stain left on the cooking surface, it is easily removed with the Essteele cookware cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend. Only downside is the heavy weight of the large fry pan (obviously) and the fact the handle holds a little bit of water that usually ends up on me or the floor when moving them to the drying rack. I plan on drilling a hole right through the handle to prevent this as I'm not worried about ever having to use the warranty on these pans. I use these pans on a glass cooktop. Hint: keep a non stick pan for frying eggs.

Verified Absolutely uselessI bought the 5 Watt model as I wasn't to worried about the speed of charging, I thought I could leave anything charging for the day while I was away from camp. I tested it at home (nice clear conditio…ns) and after three days of charging a power bank with no progress, I tried a different usb car charger, no difference. I then tried charging my smart phone and quickly noticed the phone battery losing power quicker than usual, it was actually sucking power out of the phone. I had very little expectations of the product and unfortunately it could not even meet those.

Earth Choice All in One Dish Tablets
Used to be betterHave been using these for a couple years now. Initially I was quite happy with them but after the recent changes, not so much. I now cut them out of the supposedly dissolving wrapper, because, well it… doesn't seem to dissolve fast enough and was reducing the effectiveness of the tablets.

BuyMobile
Verified Should of read the reviews firstNot the worst experience but after reading other reviews it was a little nerve wracking. After being stuffed around by Dick Smith on ebay for 16 days I thought I would try to purchase the phone (Sony …Xperia z5 compact) from another online seller; Buymobile.com.au. I used the websites online help to make sure the phone was in stock, all good, so proceeded to order said phone. The next day I received an email confirming my order and a day after that I received another message detailing the long and complicated shipping and handling process. This process included them contacting me to verify the order and when a couple days later I realised that my contact number was wrong I emailed them to change my contact number and/or verify the purchase. They replied that the order was already verified, not sure how but who knows, starting to look a little sketchy. About ten days after ordering the phone and hearing nothing about its postage I emailed them to enquire as to what was happening with the order, their reply was that they had been trying to contact me. Searched through all of my emails and discovered they had been trying to contact me through another email domain I was not aware of (fulfilment@rapidcommerce.co) and the messages had been going to the junk mail folder. Obviously the message was that the phone I had checked was in stock was in fact not in stock. The same predicament I had been in with Dick Smith on ebay. I did get a refund but if as mentioned by another reviewer that they are a front for Kogan I would be very wary.
Side note: the Dick Smith listing of this phone on ebay (which I had ordered, paid and been refunded for as they said they were out of stock) was relisted a week later at a higher price. Dick Smith is owned by Kogan.
