Kinsman Kitchens
Recommended! We redid all our wardrobes via Kinsman and here is our experience. - The designer was alright, she was neutral and left all the de… cisions to us. Being a first timer, we chose the designs and colour scheme based on what we thought would look good - Communication post finalisation was good. Delivery of the goods were timely without any delays - The installer was amazing and made a difference to the whole experience. He is very experienced and provided alot of good advice and recommended including the original original colour scheme which we then changed and am very happy that we did which we would otherwise regretted going with the original colour in one of the rooms - The finishing and quality of the actual wardrobes are excellent and to be honest, if you want to have a seamless perfect finish to match the beautiful new wardrobes, you will need to hire an external plasterer and painter with the removal and final finishing. If you leave the job to the installer, they do an OK job but remember that its not their job by trade. |
Scanpan Non-Stick IQ
Paid top dollar for a product which lasted 1 year and Warranty blame it on carbon build upI paid almost $200 for Scanpan HaptIQ non stick 2.5L pot thinking that it was going to last me years. Fast forward to 1 year after my purchase, I am stuck with a pan that has essentially became a stic…k pan. I wrote to the Warranty Team and guess what was I told? It was due to carbon build up and my mistake for not cleaning it correctly from the start. Now I am not sure what special methods are required to clean this pot but I am pretty sure it was cleaning thoroughly using a sponge and plenty of detergent from day dot. As it is due to carbon build up, Warranty does not cover this so now I am stuck with a crappy $200 standard pot.
So beware of the so called 10 years warranty which I thought would be a peace of mind. There appears to be plenty of exclusions and I have just heard this from other friends as well and a few of them have said to avoid these so called high end brands as you are just paying for the brand and so called warranty which at the end just burns you.
From now on, I am staying clear from Scanpans. It is NOT worth the money for such poor quality products. |
Purplebricks
Avoid at all costI signed up and paid Purple Bricks upfront back in Jan 2019. It has been a very “meaningful” journey with them and here is what happened:- - Went through 4 property managers with the first guy being … fired due to undisclosed reasons. I was never advised or properly introduced to the subsequent property managers and was told when I rang to complain to customer service - Extremely poor communication after the first couple of months. Initial impression was good but that all quickly disappeared after 1-2 months - Received an offer online but it was mysteriously rejected and no one could ever explained who did that rejection in the system on our behalf - Hundreds of complains and escalations via email and on the phone - Received a final notice from them to advice that they cannot and will NO longer be selling the property after 10 months in Oct 2019 So stuck with the property now and out of pocket by $6,000. In summary, do yourself a favour and avoid Purple Bricks at ALL cost. |
