Booking.com
DO NOT USE FOR FLIGHT BOOKINGSWe booked a flight from Seoul to Jeju on Air Seoul in April via booking.com. On the day of the flight Seoul Air and all other airlines cancelled flights from Seoul to Jeju because of bad weather. We c…ouldn't contact booking.com while we were in South Korea as I was not able to access the booking on my phone since booking.com did not provide the service in South Korea. Airline assured us a full refund will be issued and gave us confirmation letters for the flight cancellation. Upon returning to Australia we contacted booking.com and we were told the boarding pass was issued hence the flight was not cancelled and they cannot issue a refund. How dumb could these people be? A flight could get cancelled even after you board a flight, just because we checked in online the night before and have a boarding pass doesn't mean when flew from Seoul to Jeju. After following up with booking.com multiple times for more than two months now we still don't have a refund and we are been told the same excuse and been told to contact the airline directly. I tried contacting the airline but the phone number on their website doesn't work when calling from Australia and they don't have an email we can contact them on. Also my argument with them is, why should we be contacting the airline directly ourselves when we booked the ticket via booking.com and we are customers of booking.com and not the airline. booking.com's partner go to gate is the worse airline ticket seller and STAY AWAY. |

Avoid if Possible - Worst Ever Customer ServiceVery rude and disappointing customer service from the accounts customer service representative. I got multiple invoices sent 6 months after I got discharged from hospital. And a month later another in…voice for a blood test that apparently was done while I was still admitted to the hospital but the date was well and truly after I got discharged. Accounts customer service rep was asking me to talk to the hospital as it was sent by the hospital even though I tried to explain the date of the test was after I got discharged so there is no way this was done as an in-patient but was done as an out-patient and should be covered with Medicare. Also why should I talk to the hospital and get it sorted myself when they are the one who sent me the invoice? They should be talking to the hospital and getting it sorted. At the end rep said "If this is causing so much grief I will wave it for you". They didn't want to listen to me and spoke over me and this is worst customer service ever. |
Amart Furniture WA, Cannington
Broken and cracked table and no replacementwe bought a dining table set and had to go replace 2 chairs on the same day as the threads were not lining up. 7 months after, we decided to move from Perth to Melbourne and when the professional move…rs were disassembling the table they brought to our attention that one of the legs has cracked. Then we inspected the whole table and found there were other cracks on the table top as well. We took photos of it and didn't have time to inform anyone at that time as we were travelling overseas the next day.
When we moved to Melbourne, as soon as we got the furniture delivered we contacted Amart and informed them about the situation and sent photos as well. We are well and truly under the warranty. Now they come back saying that the leg was cracked as the nails were screwed on too tight. If the nail were too tight it would chip immediately when we assembled it the first time and we were not using any machinery to screw the nails on so it would not have been so tight that a table could break apart, if so we would have noticed it 8 months ago and not wait till now to complain about it, we would've returned the table with the chairs that we returned as we were not able to assemble them initially. Summer is approaching and with the heat, the cracks would continue to widen and the rest of the timber might give away too.
We have bought other furniture from them too we have paid so much of money on goods and not feel safe in our own house using their furniture knowing that someone might fall off a broken chair or broken piece of furniture might hurt someone anytime any day. Usability, longevity and safety of the products are basic consumer rights and I hope you can consider this and not exercise such unethical business practices by wasting consumers' hard earned money.
