Toyota Tarago
2006 Toyota Estima V6 G EditionPurchased this vehicle approximately weeks ago with 92,000klm on the speedo. Very technologically advanced vehicle. Numerous things on this vehicle incl…ude Electric tailgate as well as Electric drivers seat and electric folding rear seats. Both rear sliding doors are electric as well..and there is also cruise control. EBD as well as ABS. The vehicle also has sensors in the folding side mirrors(the mirrors fold when the car is locked) that turn on the interior lights at night when you approach the vehicle. It cruises effortlessly on the open road being powered by Toyota's GSR50 3.5ltr V6 and six speed Auto transmission. Previously had a 2005 Toyota Estima MCR30 3.0ltr V6 Premium which has has been a great vehicle for the last 3 years. That vehicle had 92000klm when I purchased it and it currently has travelled 177770klm and hasn't missed a beat. |
Toyota Tarago XR 30 (2000-2006)
2005 Toyota Estima MCR30 V6 PremiumExcellent vehicle spacious comfortable can't stop driving it. Fuel consumption approximately 9.5ltrs / 100klm. Powered by… Toyota's excellent MZ1FE VVTI engine. Estima has plenty of get up and go. A majority of parts are shared with the Australian Toyota Tarago with the exception of the motor which shares its heritage with the Lexus ES300. To date I have been able to source all parts for servicing without any real problems. The external mirrors are large and give plenty of vision as does the reversing camera. Highly recommended as a vehicle you can drive and relax in. I am going to upgrade shortly to a later Estima model. Have the vehicle insured with NRMA..so that isn't a problem. There are now thousands of them in Australia and I find they are a great buy. |
BlackBerry Z30
BlackBerry Z30There are numerous reviews on the Internet for this phone. I'm writing this review as I have been using it for a few… months now and have gained some experience with the device. I must admit that for a number of years I have been an avid Android fan. I have been using various Samsung Phones from a Galaxy S3 to a Note3. I have read numerous reviews on Blackberry devices especially for BlackBerry 10 phones. So I decided that I would give the Blackberry Z30 a go. Purchased the phone from Ebay. It came pre-loaded with BlackBerry OS10.2. I received the latest OS update OTA to 10.3.1 shortly after turning on the device. Took me a little while to familiarize myself with the phone but I must say that it wasn't that steep of a learning curve. For the first day of use I kept reverting back to my Samsung phone as I thought that I just couldn't leave Android. I decided that if I was going to give this phone a fair go then I would have to use it as my daily driver. I had previously familiarized myself with BlackBerry OS 10 and the Z30 by watching YouTube videos. After a couple of days use I started to enjoy using the phone, the gesture based OS was very easy and convenient to use. Call quality was excellent with crystal clear audio. I live in a 4g coverage area and even in fringe areas the phone still picked up signal. I tried my Samsung Galaxy S3 in the same fringe area and couldn't get a signal. The twin external speakers provided very loud audio something I have never heard from a phone before. The phone can now run Android apps as well. I have friends that have different Android phones from Sony LG Motorola. And none compare with the sound from the Blackberry. The gesture based OS is brilliant to use and overall I have found that I can't go back to Android. Amazon apps is now included with. OS 10.3.1 and you can even load the Google play store if you want more apps. Go to crackberry.com and search for Google play store, there you will find instructions on how to load Google play. Overall I love using the device and am very pleased that I can get two days battery life. All in all an excellent device that you won't regret buying and at a lower price the some Android devices. |
Honda Silver Wing
2006 Honda Silverwing 600Had the Silverwing for almost a year now and cant fault it. I purchased it with 4400k on the clock. Have now travelle… d 10100k. Servicing is a breeze...I do my own oil changes ect. Cant fault it..has never missed a beat and is so smooth to cruise on. Honda has now released the Integra 700. I would like to see Honda keep the Silverwing in production maybe offering some improvements. I know in America there are thousands of them on the roads. The roads where I live are all sealed however they are rough to ride on. The silverwing makes traversing these roads very easy. Riding in the wet is an absolute pleasure with no problems slipping on the wet roads. Highway cruising and you feel like your riding on a motorized arm chair. Fuel consumption averages around 50mpg. Underseat storage is excellent and I have added a Honda top-box for extra capacity. I think the headlights are adequate however personally I would like to see brighter more powerful lights added. There are a few options available that I have spotted on the net...re LED lighting. I have also witnessed a few Silverwings with HID lighting and admittedly they are very bright. All in all I would highly recommend the Silverwing its nearest competitor of course is the Suzuki Burgman 650. The Silverwing beats the Suzuki for maneuvering in traffic...but of course that's my personal opinion others would disagree. If you purchase a Silverwing I don't think you will regret your decision. Silky smoothness ...ease of servicing.... reliability....comfort... Lighting could be improved..but as stated its adequate for the job. |
