Netgear Nighthawk M2 Mobile Router MR2100
Realise what it is ... and isn'tThis is meant to be a mobile internet device. You pair or connect your laptop to it and leave it sitting right beside the device. The blue tooth and wifi range is very limited, and if you go into anot…her room, it is fairly much drowned out by other wifi devices in the house.
However that is not how I'm using it. I have it connected as a 4GX internet modem on mains power and connected to a normal wifi router via the 1gbps ethernet cable. I do this because my property where it is located has no other form of internet available. And it works great! at my location I get 76mbps download and 26mpbs upload. That is faster than my NBN connection in Brisbane.
Now I understand that this is a mobile device and how many people will use it ... but you have to understand that low signal relates to where you are, not what the device can do. I guess I know what I am doing and many others would struggle but for me it is great. |
TP-Link AX6000 Archer AX6000
Verified Keeping up with advancesI recently upgraded to this TP-Link AX6000 to get into the Wifi6 technology and handle the 50 device IOT powered house my home has become. The device swapped straight in without any problems. Configur…ation was minimal. The wifi range has extended dramatically over the previous DLink and so I have been able to do away with the two extenders that the DLink needed. The device allows you to choose what services you want to give priority to and I choose streaming. The load time has dropped to zero and the number of devices able to stream has in creased as has the resolution of the streams increased to 4K across the house. Not to mention the cost was significantly cheaper than the equivalent DLink, Netgear and ubiquity devices. Over all I can’t fault this device. |

Care Park
Verified Aggressive, unprofessional and unreasonableI registered for a park in Brisbane. I have two cars and they are parked in line at home so which ever is easiest to get out is the car I drive in. Care Parking agreed to allow the two cars registrati…ons to be registered in writing. However they only provided one windscreen pass. So on the first day I left the pass in plain view on the dashboard rather than attach it to the windscreen when I parked so it could be moved to the other car if need be.
That same first day I got an aggressive email threatening to issue me me an infringement notice for not affixing the pass to the windscreen (even though it was in plain sight on the dash board). I responded and said that I needed to move it between cars as agreed. Then they threatened to cancel the contract (on the first day)
I was astounded so I visited their offices, and said that there were no less than 8 other cars on my level with no windscreen passes at all. Yet they were targeting me on my first day. I sent them the photos of the other cars, and suggested that they could simply issue me a second pass that I would happily pay for. The General Manager made snide remarks and with the situation unresolved I left.
Then that same afternoon I got an email cancelling the contact and advising that they were keeping a months parking fees for the 1 days parking that I had. I was locked out of the car park thereafter.
I am completely astounded at this aggressive behavior. There is simply no excuse for this treatment of customers. Beware of Care Parking.
