Hyundai Venue Elite
Just one faulty thing that makes it unbearableHi all potential Hyundai Venue buyers. We took delivery of our new Venue last week. Price is somewhat irrelevant if It is everything they say it is. And for the most part, it is, and suit my wife's ne…eds perfectly. ....BUT.....It has one major imperfection if you want to rely on the reversing camera to reverse park in to a tight spot and you are partially disabled due to a back injury and it is the only way you can do so without being able to physically turn in your seat to see where you are going.
The camera favours the left hand side with its lines on the screen. You will not know so until you get out of the car and notice you are parked nearly on the white parking line on the ground on the drivers (right hand) side. and a long way away from the line on the ground on the passenger (left hand) side. This setup might work well in countries where you drive on the right hand side of the road, but here in Australia, the driver might have trouble getting out of the car if parked next to another vehicle or next to a wall or column. If not intentional, it is a major fault with the vehicle, especially a problem with people with limited back movements. I took it back to the dealership and made the service manager reverse park it, and to his surprise, he struck the same problem. I have contacted Hyundai about it, and waiting for them to get back to me about a solution. This might end up being a RECALL item we can expect from Hyundai. Good luck all.

National Storage
NO PRO-RATA with National Storage RothwellOriginally our Company rented a long term storage unit with Elite Storage at Rothwell. They had a PRO-RATA policy that if we needed to vacate we would get part of our rent back as it was paid in advan…ce.
Now National Storage own the place, and when we needed to vacate only about a week in to a prepaid Month they would not honour that agreement. We now rent storage with another Company who does have that policy, which obviously is common in the industry, EXCEPT NATIONAL STORAGE. So don't expect any favours.
In Addition to that, They were suppose to email invoices which we did not always receive, and then they charged a penalty straightaway for which we did receive an email. Elite would send me an SMS to remind us if we were a day late, no penalty was ever charged.
As we use Storage units for our business on a regular and sometimes long term basis, we will not be using nor recommending National Storage to anybody. |
Purplebricks
Loss of interestListed with Purple Bricks just before the announcement that they we packing up and leaving Australia. Quick to take the money for the listing but no hard work to get a buyer. Once we got an interested… buyer, and only because they were looking at an identical property next door that had just gone to contract, we got a contract. The agent messed around with sending the contract to the right people, we had to chase it all up. The agent stepped back and let us do the work. Total loss of interest. We later lost the buyer on a minor clause that should have been handled by the agent. Was a total waste of time and money. |
