Panasonic SR-DE103WST
Great little rice cookerI managed to pick up this little beauty at a garage sale pretty much new so I can't complain about the price. I was not expecting a great deal but a year later using it several times a week I'm really… happy. never had a bad batch of rice. Can't comment on the other functions as I've only ever used it for brown and white rice but does these perfectly.

ALDI Stirling 6.5kg GYJ70-78F3E (Jun 2015, Jun 2016, Jun 2017)
Just okI'm not sure I would recommend this machine unless you were in desperate need for one and on limited funds. Ours lasted us a little under three years which for the price is not bad. We did have to cla…im a repair about a year in and it took so long to complete that we were not able to use the dryer at all for a couple of months. We were never able to use the highest heat setting as it would make the dryer overheat and shut down and the lint filter is at the back of the machine and its not easy to get off or empty. All in all it was just ok and I wouldn't buy another one.

Late items & Terrible customer serviceI purchased LED shoes for my children for Christmas allowing plenty of time from the end of the sale for them to arrive. I emailed them three times two weeks prior to Christmas to get some information… and received a generic email stating they had been delayed. The email was one sent out bulk to all customers, my emails were never answered. In the end I had to put in a claim to Paypal, the day before it was due to be settled BE emailed me to ask that I remove the dispute as my shoes were in the warehouse ready to ship (the day before new year). I can forgive the lateness as these things can happen but not the awful customer service so I did not remove the dispute. It was found to be in my favour and I received a refund from Paypal.
BE need to up their game, ignoring customers will only result in fewer orders placed. Had I been treated as an important and valued customer I would have worn the delay however to be ignored in the hope that I would go away is not a good way to ensure an amicable solution.

Click Energy
Third bill in a row with no discount appliedWe moved to NSW and signed up to click as we always pay our bills on time and thought 22% discount for doing that would be great. We have yet to receive a bill with any discount applied. The staff are… unhelpful as well. The other day when I called I was told that an email that was sent to my (correct) email address had bounced back and that was why (the time before that was a completely different reason and I was told it would be fixed on the next bill) but I receive emails into that account daily with no problem. I really don't understand why that affected the payment of my discount even if it were plausible. So they have now said they can apply one discount only but that head office will have to approve the other and I should take it up with them?!!! So click owe me $400 and I am no longer going to pay my bill in advance like I have been (as in, I'm in credit) and I will be looking for another provider. But I will not be giving up the $400+ that they owe me. Its ridiculous to promise a discount and then not follow through with it.
I have electricity (but any company would at least get that right I would hope)
No discount applied as promised, staff unable to correct the issue and "pass the buck". Billing system is flawed and confusing. |
