The Collosus SX 2.0 was my first ever purchase of a dual suspension bike. I bought it because my hardtail simply could not keep up with the dual suspension and downhill bikes of the other riders. I conducted alot of research prior to purchasing the bike on the history of the company, reveiws of previous bikes ect... surprisingly there were hardly any reviews on the product. With the bike being so cheap i thought this strange especially with the specs of the bike being so impressive. I took the risk and confirmed the purchase and it turned out t...o be one of the best purchases i have ever made. The bike arrived well packaged and protected. I was disappointed to find that the instruction manuals (although rather unnecessary) were very poorly translated and very vague with one book for the entire range of Polygon bikes. Also, the manuals from both Fox and Marzocchi about the suspension settings were also vague. This may not phase experienced riders but for a beginner, and someone who hasnt worked with rear air suspension before, at least some guide to air prssure adjustment would have been nice. On a good note the smaller details of the frame are amazing. The paint is spectacular and the cable clips are great. The wheelset however wasnt so flash. There were scratches over the paint on the wheels and the stickers were peeling off... of course this will happen anyway but it would be nice if they were in new condition to start with. I feel this review isnt portraying just how great the bike is so i will focus on this from now. It is light, being only a few hundred grams heavier then my old hardtail and the Marzocchi front fork is great, the rebound adjust is very easy to control and a significant drifference can be immediatly felt and the lockout is smooth to opperate. The whole front end is super stiff which the taperd headtube is designed to do. There is no jerkynss in the rear suspension set up and the tyres are (contrary to reviews on the tyres alone) are fantastic and grip well to the hard, wet , mossy surface that my local XC trails have most of the year. I am yet to test on dry loose ground but im sure they will perform. overall i am very impressed with the bike and it is excelent value for money when price is compared to specs. Buying through an australian company (Bicyclesonline.com.au) gave me the confidence to take the risk and buy online and i must say i am not disappointed with the service or the product at all. Very happy customer. Frame geometry, Groupset, Brakes, Stem, Value for money, Delivery time, Seller communication, Tyres Condition on delivery (not everything but a few things), free "Pro Build" is more just a "Put together so it can be packaged"
