NX AZ20 Hybrid AWD NX 350h Luxury

I love this car, but I've encountered numerous issues since getting it. First, I want to note that the luxury is not that luxurious; the car is quite simple inside. However, for that price, it could be more elegant. Funny story, there is no place to put my phone. I even tried buying a sticky holder, but there's nowhere to stick it. Absolutely,… Read more

zero! So my holder stayed unused. Second, my phone and other objects keep falling into the hole between the seats, which is too narrow for you to reach in and retrieve them. What a luxury! (Being sceptical now).

After three years, I started experiencing a dead battery, which seems to drain quickly in this car. My battery died too often in inconvenient places, like airport parking. For a luxury and expensive car, this feature is not particularly practical. I mean, really? If you have an insurance or annual check-up, it costs so much, and replacing a battery costs me $ 300.

The car is comfortable and smooth to drive, but its minor drawbacks make it impractical. I'm even considering selling it for a more conventional, non-hybrid vehicle that's more comfortable—a real disappointment.

Over priced and under spec'd Unacceptably noisy cabin on coarse chip. Poor ambient lighting. Only two front outside door handle lights? No spare wheel. Fiddly stupid gear selector. Most controls embedded in screen. Insane steering wheel buttons (have to press everything twice...why?) Rear bumper gap out of alignment since new. No heated steering… Read more

wheel, no rear seat heating, no sunroof....in a top of the range "sport luxury" $86,000 car? Even mazdas have these items. Dealership lies and deception. The ride and lane keep are the only good things. Just a Tinselled up Toyota rav4. Will not be buying back into this brand.

Overpriced Toyota with no resale value – Not a reliable car at all. Faulty battery, rattle sound comes from steering wheel, faulty seat belt, very low resale value. All these experienced with 1st year of purchase of brand near car. Lexus is just an overpriced Toyota. Show details

Lexus "Pursuit of Perfection" in every way-Beautiful vehicle to drive and pleasure to own – I bought my vehicle- 2016 Lexus NX 200t Sports Luxury from interstate with less than 59,000 kms. This is an idle car for daily commute and freeway commute. Its quiet, comfortable, with beautiful interiors and full of features. The car is fitted with a heads up display, Mark Levinson stereo system with a cd player, blue tooth, blind spot… Read more

monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, park assist, Axle lock, 360 view cameras, power tailgate and power leather seats with cooling and heating front seats, privacy glass for rear passengers, paddle shifters and a sunroof. The car is a breeze to drive especially after a busy day at work. Road noise barely enters the cabin and visibility is superb. Listening to music via blue tooth or DAB radio, FM radio is a real joy. I do like the track pad and information system, although many people complain about it, I have never had any issue with it. Its easy to use as its intuitive and functional and the touch pad is responsive. The fuel economy is superb for a 2.0-liter 8AR-FTS turbocharged four-cylinder direct injection engine.

Tips to drive the car:

Being 200t, means the car is 2.0-liter 8AR-FTS turbocharged four-cylinder direct injection engine that can run on both Otto and Atkinson cycles. The best way to drive this vehicle and make is more fuel efficient is to do the following: start the car and let the engine idle till you notice the RPM needle fall at/below 1.During this process the air conditioning should be off. My car's current fuel efficiency currently is between 6.6ltr/100km (Eco mode without the ac) to 7.3 ltrs/100km (normal mode without an ac). The best fuel economy till date was 5.8ltrs (without air con). It should be noted that this was achieved with all tyres need inflated to 35 psi . As a principal my car tyre pressure is set at 35 psi which helps me achieve a better economy. When driving into city turn the dial to Eco mode for speeds below 65km/hr, for outer suburbs I normally leave it in normal mode or eco mode depending on the road condition. I rarely use the sports mode. The default mode is the Normal mode. So one must turn the dial as per the driving conditions.

All in all it’s a superb car. Yes, I agree boot space is small but not that small. It’s my daily comfortable drive and most importantly, reliable. I drive around 60-75kms daily. It’s been calming refreshing to drive this car every time. Service intervals are at 15,000km and the service costs are very reasonable unlike the European Brands. The looks of the car and the interiors hold up pretty well to this day . Beautiful vehicle and Reliable vehicle.

June 2019 Car starting to make noise and had loss of power and gear changing was not as per normal

Took it to Lexus and had one of the senior mechanics come and expect the noise He said he knew what it was, vaccum does not close/seal when the turbo kicks in?? He said he know what it was and he will order a part and let me know when they could fix it Assured me there is no issue driving it the way it was (loss of power and not changing gears properly) They said they will call to have the car booked in I advised that we are going away on holidays next Friday 28 June and would need to have it fixed before then as its a 14hr round trip (Bris to Tamworth)"

10:30am Saying they need more than one part. They only have the hose and will bring our car back and pick it up again next week to replace the vacuum. I said its not fixing the car it will not correct the loss of power which is the main reason i didnt want to drive it to Tamworth. I didn't want to have the car half fixed for a 14hr round trip - that is ridiculous Saying they need more than one part. They only have the hose and will bring our car back and pick it up again next week to replace the vacuum. I said its not fixing the car it will not correct the loss of power which is the main reason i didn't want to drive it to Tamworth. I didn't want to have the car half fixed for a 14hr round trip - that is ridiculous. xxxxx then offered to bring us another car of similar size to the NX for us to drive down to Tamworth. I said ok then arrange what needs to be done.

He then calls back shortly and advises he has tracked down a part from Indooroopilly and will have our car 100% fixed today and ready " I was baffled from what I was hearing

15 July 2019 Called Lexus "Called upon returning from Tamworth trip to advise noise has gone however the reduced of power and the changing of gears is not working as normal. He said he will look at when they can get someone over there and call me back to book in a date. " 18 July 2019 Am yet to hear from anyone 26 July 2019 Nearly two weeks since reporting it to xxxxx and still awaiting to hear back from him 29 July 2019 Still awaiting call

13 Aug 2019 No response as yet. This is pretty poor. xxxxx knowing my car is not driving as expected and has not made an effort to make a note to call me back. I know that when I do contact him, he would say sorry that he forgot and get my car looked at asap.

One of the senior mechanics came out to our house to inspect the strange gear changing. He connected it up to his laptop and he said that it is driving as expected. As a car owner who is meticulous about it, they know best if their car drives like it use to.

I will be going to test drive another Lexus NX at the dealership and prove to them that they drive differently.

Reliable but after sales service is atrocious and build quality is disappointing – I bought my NX300 in 2020 after having an IS250 for 10yrs. My IS was a wonderful car so getting another Lexus seemed a good choice. Within 3 months of having the car I noticed a terrible creaking from the front end suspension, I took the car back to Lexus Brisbane, they had a look and basically did nothing. Frustrated I went to a suspension… Read more

franchise and asked them to look at it, they said it sounded like the strut tops. I took this information back to Lexus whom said, “yes we know of this issue and are waiting for Lexus to get back to us on how to address it, we thought it was the top struts and replaced them in another vehicle but it didn’t make any difference”. Multiple phone calls to them and I’ve had no response, it’s been nearly a year. A couple of weeks ago I noticed the car now has a major rattle near the front passenger side door when the car is idling. Very disappointed, and was thinking of purchasing a new Lexus but probably not now. Aftersales service is soooooo bad

based on a purchase that was made near the end of 2021 at a Lexus Dealership located in Canberra ACT. As a former Lexus owner of the RX model, my opinion and review may be slightly biased. Our reasoning for purchasing this vehicle was to replace the previous vehicle we had, which was a 2018 Honda CRV topping range model that had Apple Carplay only. The vehicle had a number of factory related and ongoing reliability issues. And more over, the lease for the vehicle was also ending. It presented a good opportunity to start looking at better alternatives. Unfortunately, at the time of replacement, we were strapped for time and also, we were limited by the availability within the ACT amongst other brands. And further more, there were issues with COVID and borders that prevented us from acquisition of a 2021 Sports Luxury edition of the same model. Ultimately, my partner proceeded to sign a contract with the dealership that led to our Honda CRV for trade-in and purchase of the Lexus which had additional non-standard features added (e.g. wheel lock nuts, Lexus roof racks, extra window tinting, boot cover protection, front and rear integrated camera system).

[The Product] The vehicle is a 2020 Lexus NX300 that had a 6-speed sports-automatic transmission as the all-wheel-drive (AWD) model. The only colour that was available was Mercury Grey and an alternative model was the front-wheel-drive NX300h in white. The F-Sport in the NX line-up is the middle. Lexus is built in only two factories in the world, either Japan or Canada. It is highly suspect that our vehicle was made in Japan. In my biased opinion, Lexus is an overbuilt Toyota. And Lexus as a brand, is known more to do with Luxury as it is for anything else. However, if you can afford to buy something that is highly reliable for long-term ownership. I cannot think of any other brand other than perhaps BMW that may compete. Having to have driven this vehicle on long-distance road trips across Australia into different states and on different roads. This NX in the F-Sport trim is best suited on the road-only. Though it does have AWD capability, I wouldn't risk driving over uneven surfaces including off-road. The comfort level is not there and you'll feel every single bump along the way.

[The Package] The NX300 F-Sport comes with a lot of features, although the ones that I have indicated within the Pros(+) vs Cons(-) will define what I experienced as missing from the vehicle. From a "features" perspective, it has a lot for being in the middle between Luxury and Sports Luxury. Mind you, if you go with the likes of European and German brands, most of the features in a Lexus that are standard, you'll often have to pay extra in those aforementioned brands.

[The Pros(+) vs Cons(-)] + F-Sport with an aggressive body styling, bigger wheels + Build quality + performance from the 2.0L Turbocharged engine with usable flappy paddles and sports auto transmission + apple carplay and android auto interconnectivity + qi-charging + heated and cooled seats + parcel shelf can be stored underneath the rear cargo floor

- Bigger wheels gives better presence, however... ruins ride quality - missing a Mark Levinson sound system - missing a heads-up display - missing a kick-sensor for the tailgate - fuel economy is misleading - qi charging option - gimmicky sunroof - not good for tall people - start/stop annoying - mouse pad is annoying

[The Pros(+) vs Cons(-) - Extended Explanation] + Build quality – the vehicle and the brand are very very well-built and ownership of Lexus vehicles in general will give a majority of owner a smile. I’ve owned an RX 350 and did not once have an issue with the vehicle for the entire period of ownership for 7 years. + performance… - this is relative to the person who is driving the vehicle. This compared to my RX 350 feels more athletic and agile. + qi charging – this I believe was an optional extra on the car and I had to upgrade my smartphone in order to take full advantage of this capability. It does charge, although has a negative.

- the missing items as listed are found on the Sports Luxury edition, though it would have been nicer if it had these three missing features installed - fuel economy is misleading – the 2020 NX300 F-Sport AWD model has a minimum fuel distance of 619KM. Unfortunately, this is untrue, the vehicle when you start it up, defaults to normal. So varying the setting between ECO and NORMAL alongside start/stop will obtain those figures. However, if you are somewhat spritelier in your driving, which is in SPORT and SPORT+ mode; your fuel range will be around 500KM realistically. - qi charging (option) – when you charge any smart phone that is qi charge capable, I would strong suggest you do not play music through Apple Carplay or Android Auto; as charging the device will be very very slow as a result. It works best when the smartphone is set for charging only and perhaps suggest using a different device that can compensate for streaming your music. - gimmicky sunroof – our F-Sport model came with an internal sunshade which we had to slide backwards (to open) and forwards (to close) by hand. This feature immediately reminded me of my 1976 Datsun 260Z which came with an aftermarket sunroof that operated in a similar fashion except was not powered. - not good for tall people – if your household consists of just yourself and your partner, then may be you can get away with just electronically pushing the seats backwards to give you more space and leg room? Otherwise, if you have more people in your household and that you’re also 6 feet tall and over, you might struggle a bit even if you attempt to electronically lower the seating position. The NX300 is a mid-sized SUV which my RX 350 excels for tall people and has no issues in carrying long items and cargo as opposed to the NX which is limited.

- start/stop annoying – I’m not a fan of start/stop technology in any car. For my driving style using SPORT and SPORT+, I usually turn it off whenever I start the car. - mouse pad is annoying – though this iteration is better than the mouse on my RX 350, it still has a problem, especially that the NX300 does not have a touch screen option. It is very annoying to use when the vehicle is moving, it is almost as though the mouse is at its highest sensitivity, forcing you to use your finger ever so slightly to move across the touch-pad to get to your desired option.

[The Final Thoughts] Which ever Lexus you go for? And what ever Lexus you decide to purchase whether new or secondhand, you will find that owners and being one for the first time... Lexus will make you feel special. Sound insulation is excellent, unless you have roof racks, then ignore this comment.

Don’t expect blistering performance, you will still get lag from the turbo depending on the weather and road conditions. The flappy paddle gear shift in sports-auto mode in a twisty windy road is great fun.

As of 2021, the NX300 is being replaced with a completely new platform in 2022. Our dealership advised us to wait, although we were pressed for time. Much of the new platform addresses many of the cons raised in this review.

I would highly recommend you consider your next vehicle to be a Lexus, whether the newly or soon to be released NX, or something different within the line-up. You won't be disappointed.

Best car I have owned – I have owned this vehicle for 2 months. Before i purchased I did a lot of research and was aware of the limitations about trunk size and sensitivity of the mouse pad on the infotainment system, so had no issues with them. to do road trips. I have done two trips so far and the car has performed very well with fuel consumption between 7.7 to 8 litres. In town I'm getting between 8.3 and 8.7. I find it easy to get in and out of the vehicle compared to the sedan I previously owned. The sound system is amazing as are the front seats. The vehicle is very quiet and has a lot of power in sport mode. In fact when the vehicle was in for a service, I was given a new Lexus RX and was amazed that the NX went harder with less engine noise. Lexus servicing were fantastic and treat their customers with respect. The only thing I was disappointed with is the update to gps maps cost $450. This is over the top and will use my phone if I need to. I will update this post in the future :)

Update

I now have the NX for 9 months. Recently traveled to Queensland using Pacific HWY on the way up. Traveled back through country regions. The car performed very well and was comfortable. The boot space is limited due to the silly trunk cover. I have permanently removed it and placed it in a designated area under the trunk area. Now the trunk area is plenty big enough. I had two large overseas travel bags, large cooler, and another two soft travel bags with room to spare. The fuel consumption on the freeway was 6.7 l per 100kms without the ac on. As the day heated up the fuel consumption was 7.7 with ac on. Worked out that using the different power modes made a difference to fuel consumption and vehicle not working hard: -around the suburbs best left in Eco -when leaving suburban area best left in normal -hilly areas or passing another vehicle sport mode was best Sport mode makes the accelerator fairly sensitive. The different modes seem to change when transmission shifts eg in Eco mode the gearing is left in the higher gears longer, where in sport mode it changes down sooner when power is required and gears when accelerating shift slower making engine rev higher. Learning how to use the different modes I feel was able to get better fuel consumption. I have been back for a few weeks and the average consumption is 8l per 100kms as I have not reset the trip meter. This will probably go up a little over time. Am very happy :) with NX. Hope you find this useful.

Brilliant car, cannot fault it – Wonderful car, beautiful inside and out, quality Japanese build, extremely reliable, drives beautifully, comfortable and just a class above the rest. Not a single issue with it. Use it for commuting and transporting family of 4. Boot is a little on the smaller side but still big enough. Great family car – I would recommend the NX300 as a great family car. Comfortable easy to get in and out of the car including kids from car seats. cruise speed) the adaptive cruise on the NX and all Lexus models uses the engine to break and slow the car to the set speed instead of the breaks. ( worst and lazy and cheap system). The problem is that downhill the car goes over significantly over the set speed. I got a Speeding ticket within a few days of purchasing the car. I was not used to this backwards system as I switched from a German car. Overall I would rate the car 3.5 stars. If you’re after looks and not much practicality as a family car I would recommend. If not there are other better options to consider for virtually same price.

This thing is hard to fault – If you are looking for a mid sized SUV that is a definite cut above its no-european rivals you should look at one of these. There are multiple variants - 4 wheel drive, Front wheel drive, different types of seats, different sound systems, proper gearboxes or the god awful CVT so look around befor you choose. This is the "crafted" edition we… Read more

bought in 2021 for $62k. It has now done 51,000km. It is front wheel drive with a proper gearbox. It has semi-sports electric seats, nicer soft leather , a really good Pioneer sound system, sun roof and a few other niceties. It was my wife's but it is now our only car after my car got too old to keep and the repairs were going to cost more that the car was worth.

Like all Lexus it is well made with good materials that are evident throughout. The seats are very comfortable but adjustable lumbar support would be welcome. The vinyl is good quality and nice to the touch. The switchgear is well positioned and has a solid feel. The satnav and infotainment screen is clear and works well. The pearl white paint still looks like new though I did have paint protection applied by the dealer.

Some Lexus models have imprecise steering and wallow around corners. This model has fairly precise steering and limited lean in corners. It has supple suspension that gives a comfortable ride which is why my wife selected it in the first place. The gearbox is smooth and the engine quiet. In normal driving it has plenty of power but it still surprises me with its acceleration when I seriously boot it. It is nice a nd quiet on the move. Overall it nice to drive and nice to be in.

Accomodation is the back is normal for this size SUV. The space in the boot is what you would expect but noticably smaller than the next size up. My wife's wheelchair only just fits. I am 6ft tall and the NX feels like a pair of shoes 1 size too small for me.

It delivers 9.1 lt per 100km in suburban driving. The tyres lasted to 50,000km and I replaced the factory Bridgestones with Continentals which sharpened up the steering. The battery died at 49,000km which Lexus replaced at no cost (I have a fixed price service package). There have been zero issues with this car so far. Lexus service in GC has proved impeccable. My previous 2 Lexus (LS models) gave me zero reliability problems over a combined 500,000km. The NX300 was voted the most reliable car in Britain in 2023 by Whatcar.

My head says this is all the car I need but my shallow male ego tells me I need another Porsche. +

Reliable, comfortable, fuel efficient vehicle – We purchased this vehicle after 5 years of owning a Lemon Land Rover Discovery 4. So the main expectation when looking to replace our previous car was to have a reliable and comfortable family vehicle that didn't break down at regular intervals. That's why we bought a Japanese made vehicle and we have not been disappointed. To add to this… Read more

basic requirement, we chose the NX300h for comfort, features, fuel efficiency, quiet motor and sleek looks. Internal features are great except for one, more on this in a moment. For comfort, fuel effiency and features I'd give 5 stars.

Seats are super comfortable front and rear and heated/cooled at front. Sunroof is nice but not one of our 'must haves'. Dash looks amazing and like a flightdeck. Of course being a hybrid car the fuel efficiency is amazing and the cost of fuel is never a big issue.

The motor, whilst wonderfully silent when stationary and perfectly smooth to reactivate, does tend to sound as if it's struggling when having to accelerate quickly. There is a sports mode that sounds more like a rally car, so we rarely use that and leave it at the 'eco' mode which is fine for the majority of the time.

The one major flaw in this vehicle is the remote touch-pad on the audio/visual system. This is unusual as it requires a 'computer-mouse style' use to find and select features. Whilst practise eventually makes it easy enough, this requires focused attention when driving which is dangerous, so the alternative is to pull over when needing select anything from music to navigation.

But really, having the main objective of a reliable and comfortable car means that Lexus NX300h has ticked all the boxes. The joy of reliability can never be understated after the experience with a lemon from Land Rover.

It means, you cannot take this car to snowy mountains or other similar areas where car is required to be 4WD or AWD. This is not off road driving I am talking about, this is a feature which they are advertising. As per my understating and internet search, they are not selling this car as AWD in New Zealand. Unfortunately, I only found this information after searching.

The Lexus NX 300 is a great car – The only problem with the NX300 is that there's nowhere to put stuff in the cabin. Examples: sunglasses, a pen, lip balm, a pad of paper, a garage door remote control (or three), and other incidental items everyone needs in a car. In every other way, the car is about perfection. Show details

Nice car, service could be better – I've purchased 300h AWD Sports Luxury last September. Very nice car to drive, very smooth, with a great 6.1-6.2 L/100km economy at city trips (higher on highways), contrast beige-black leather interior looks exceptional, as well as all "little things" from the top-of-the-range" model like head-on display, different headlight looks and front… Read more

control of rear seats (not mentioning of the "standard" luxury features)!

Recently serviced it, and was very "surprised" by the service...: * "no hustle" vehicle to the door came late in the morning - which quadruple my traffic time to city/work; * instead of 1 day service it was for a full 2 days, with a broken communication; * unused parts were not returned to me - had to ring back to ask for it; * was quite surprised with an amount cost; Overall for maintenance - I'll shop around for a better price & service.

Love the car, look and style is well worth the amount – Personal use Lexus, drives smooth and is a pleasure to drive. I would recommend the hybrid version over the standard. The boot space is surprisingly not that great, less than an CX5 in some ways. Safety features, plush leather seats and audio system is great. Lexus customer service is great as well Show details

Fantastic mid size SUV – Upgraded to the 2018 NX300t F-Sport from the 2015 IS350 F-Sport as I damaged my hip and getting in and out of the IS was painful due to how low it is. The NX is a beautiful car, fantastic sound system, love the technology from the HUD, auto parking brake, 360 degree camera system, the lane departure system which puts you back in your lane if… Read more

you drift out, the Active Cruise and so much more.

I do miss the power of the IS350 V6, but if you put the NX300t into Sport S+ mode, it is very responsive and the Turbo does help but it isn't as fuel efficient as I would have expected. It's almost on par with the IS350 at around 10L/100.

It did take a bit of time to get used to driving the NX as I'm a lead foot and heavy breaker and with the added weight on the NX and the AWD, I had to get used to slowing down earlier and not accelerating around corners.

It's incredibly comfortable to drive and at high speeds, you don't feel like you're driving fast at all it's that smooth.

Lexus Melbourne City were fantastic every step of the way. I can't comment on servicing or anything like that yet as the car has only done 4,500km so far.

Just like the IS and every other Lexus, the build quality is perfect and I don't have any complaints.

Very nice family SUV, if you have a small family – Good: 1, the interior finish is top notch. 2, Lexus service is very very good. You feel you are treated well. The service department provides loan car at your doorstep, hassle-free experience! 3, Sound system is really good if you have the Mark Levinson stereo. 4, The visibility is very good, making a head check is easy. 5, Transmission is… Read more

smooth and the cabin is very quiet if the road surface is good.

6. the optional sport-suspension makes the vehicle handles pretty well for an SUV.

Bad:

1, thirsty 2.0T engine, average 10-12L/100km in town. rarely 8-9L/100km on the highway.

2, the sport-seat is narrow at the bottom

3, cargo space is limited

4, the brakes are not providing a lot of stopping power, might be the tyres' problem. The tyres are not so good.

I love my NX 200t – The build quality is good and their service is nice as well. We've been using it as our main family car, haven't had any issue with it after 1+ year of purchase. And we have been driving around it almost every day. The fuel efficiency is around 9.5 to 9.8, so not too bad. We all love the interior design and feelings.  Show details

NX300H F SPORT AWESOME – Traded in a 2006 RX350 for this NX330H F Sport. Blown away. The car really is the most comfortable car to drive. Look it won't win Bathurst but hey we are now running at 5.7l - 6.0l/100km so the savings on fuel alone are fantastic. This car is tech'd up to the max and the parking and camera system is brilliant. Just clicked over 2000 km and the… Read more

car is feeling better every day. Have to admit the infotainment is tricky at first but when you get use to it it's really very easy to use. Try running in Sports+ mode occasionally...you'll love it. Finish on this car is second to none.

Top marks for fuel economy and features – Great family car, it feels very safe and comfortable to drive. Excellent fuel economy and its compact size makes it perfect for zipping around town or between activities with the kids. It has a cool, space age feel about it, comes with a reasonable amount of storage/holders and you are definitely spoilt with features. The seats in the sports… Read more

model are a bit hard around the edges and makes it little awkward to get into, even for a standard size man. While you save a bundle in fuel costs, you can expect to pay a premium for servicing and parts. Suitable for a smaller family, as a full car is very snug.

Lexus NX300h Sport 2015 – This car gives you an amazing driving experience and comfort with easy maneuvering and sense of safety. Economy features appeal the more green people and its added feature of sport and sport plus would appeal to younger generation and more adrenaline addict! Running cost is low due to hybrid battery and regenerating energy while breaking. Only if hybrid battery could run for longer and not switching so quickly to petrol it'd be even better!  Show details

Nice looking car, good quality – Performance is adequate, we got the 300h hybrid version. Fuel economy is very good. The interior is made of high quality materials. However the infotainment system is a little difficult to use. There is a learning curve to it. Car has been super cheap to run, averaging about 5L per 100km.  Show details

Great family car – Performance wise, this car is great and is very fuel efficient. Runs very smooth and the electronics are amazing to play with. Perfect leather interior makes every drive comfortable. The only downside is the lack of view through the rear window, can sometimes make it hard to see but since the car has a reverse camera it makes up for it.  Show details

Lexus has nailed it – We have owned four Lexus vehicles, the RX 330, IS 250C and currently IS 350 and NX 200t. All have been absolutely bulletproof and we keep coming back for more. The NX is in a class of its own. Looks great, drives like a saloon and all the power you need. The dashboard is straight out of the IS which is arguably more functional than aesthetic. not owned the NX long enough to get a really good impression of running costs but it does seem a bit thirsty around town. The 2 liter engine has to work hard to cope with a fairly large and solid SUV but overall it reeks of craftsmanship, reliability and elegance. In a nutshell, we love it!

So much technology, and safety – We love our NX F sport, so much comfort, safety and technology. The panoramic cameras are amazing, the heated and ventilated seats provide superior comfort. The NX grips to the road with outstanding drive performance from the 2.5L Hybrid engine. With great lugage room in the rear, the back seats provide comfort and support for everyone with reclining seats for extra comfort. An outstanding vehicle.  Show details

Almost perfect car for a small family – The f sport seat isn’t so great for a larger than average but. It is supportive but narrow. I’m 185cm and 85kg. The info system is total disaster, the user interface engineer should get fired years ago. It is hopeless. point on city roads.

The touch pad is distracting (impossible) to use while driving.

Other than all the negative aspects, this is a fantastic small suv.

Engine is mediocre despite the 180kw output, 6AT is actually as good as a lexus part should be. You need to put it in s+ mode to feel alive.

Ride is communitative, you feel the road more than rav4, in a pleasant way.

Enough space for four average size adult.

Build quality feels superb, though B pillar is making funny noise, hopefully the service department will figure it out.

NX200T - F Sport – We have this car for about 18 months so far, to replace the noisy cabin CX-5. The build quality of the car is excellent and cabin is much quiet. Levison sound system option. No Apple carplay and Android play. The car can be a bit thirsty if using sport or sport + mode. Average costs about 70 dollars for unleaded 98 every 3 weeks. We are low mileage drivers.

Amazing – Absolute dream to drive, great performance, good on fuel. Love the heated seats! How running costs. Unable to comment on reliability as it is only a month old. I want to buy a second one! I finally found the perfect car! – I am in love with my hybrid NX simply because it pays for itself! We have gone from a 17L/100km thirsty guzzler to 6L/100km. I only have to fuel up every 2.5-3weeks at $50 instead of spending $120 per week on petrol!! Add in the pleasurable drive experience, a good looking exterior, roomy interior and luxury, prestige service extended to Lexus customers and I can see why their customer base remains so loyal!  Show details

Good car, but service falls short of what you would expect in a luxury car – I bought a top of the range Lexus NX hybrid from Lexus of Brighton. The car drives well and has good features. However the touch pad is quite difficult to use and frustrating. The GPS maps were quite out of date when the car was purchased and I was told I had to pay $300 to update it. Very disappointing as you would expect a luxury car to have up to date maps.  Show details
