A Trap - Cannot update Phone Number

I purchased this credit card for an 11 month trip overseas and have spent 6 months emailing Latitude to try and get my UK phone number added to my account so I can make online purchases. Latitudes have not been able to do this despite 16 emails and repeated assurances that the change had been made. It has not. Problem is that I cannot confirm my security token as text messages are sent to my Australian sim card which is not active here in UK and Latitudes cannot update my account with my new UK phone number. Show details

Great card, poor service

A great card with no fees, never had a problem, I've had one for 10+ years.
App has some bugs. Having an additional card holder is a nightmare - tell them to get their own account.
Poor cybersecurity it seems, and dreadful customer service.

what alot of crap!, Icant pay my bloody card account as they have changed the way to pay from my bank to customer service,I paid half of it off only to find that they sent it back to my bank!, now charge $35.00 late payment and to top it off they can relay emails but when i email it says that its an unattended inbox?? Im getting sick of this ,either make it easy and stop throwing you fees to your customers and GET IT RIGHT!! Show details

Slow processing time for payments and manual processes

I am so fed up with this financial provider. They charge you if you want to pay card through BPay. Processing payment without fees can only be done through their 'latitude app'. Processing time for funds to clear on card can take up to 10 business days!!!

Lattitude/28 Degrees, Get your fraud team's act together! I am so fed up as I cannot use my card freely. I have had to call you guys twice to validate transaction/s and have recently been blocked from using my own card.! No customer service

I have my card with me all the time and I have seen unauthorised transactions. I tried to report immediately but I could not get though their phone line as no one answer my call for very long time. I lodged an on-line dispute and still no one reply, and they just let the unauthorised transactions keep on happening. Show details

No Customer Service, anything goes wrong, card lost/stolen, you are on your own

This is an appalling company with zero Customer Service, and would give zero stars if could
If nothing goes wrong, then OK
Lost stolen card, fraudulent transaction, you call, spend an hour on hold for an EMERGENCY number, and then get through, only for the person to put you on hold again, and then your call gets disconnected.
If using for foreign travel, you will need an alternate card, as anything goes wrong with this card, you are on your own and stuffed Show details

Absolutely hopeless

My wife applied for Latitude 28. I am secondary card holder.
We received the cards last week. Created new login and password. No matter what we did, we could not activate the cards. Finally had them activated over the phone.
I couldn't set my pin (still cannot). After many hours on the phone, 6 phone calls just today, they are going to send me the pin number by mail.
I am not holding my breath. If it doesn't work this time, we will just cut up the cards. Just too hard.
BTW, the call centre staff speak poor English and combined with shocking phone line (God knows where they are), it is almost impossible to have a decent conversation. Show details

No Customer Service

Trying to purchase an item from overseas and it seems that the fraud department has blocked the card even though I received an SMS code and used it. Called call centre twice and they have no idea how to fix it.

What a joke

Customer service is a joke. Have spent over an hour on the phone and they were keep switching me between different departments to solve my issues. Had to wait at least 20 min for each department to pick up my call. Scared to think what if something happens to your card and you don't get their help immediately. I wouldn;t trust them anymore. I am trying to change my Pin

I have been attempting to do this for over a week, I have sent through Messages and been informed this will be fixed Shortly! I am now down to my last week and will NOT BE ABLE TO USE MY CARD OVERSEAS! Still nobody has bothered to help me there appears to be a major fault with their Pin Change System for Secondary Card Holders, lets you get through the whole spiel, then says there is an Error processing this! Call the Customer Service Team we are available get disconnected 24 Hours a Day! Too Bad if your Card is stolen not one Telephone Number is Responsive! Show details

Is there a more unprofessional pathetic Company that Telstra in Australia. Regardless of what time you ring them, same old same old.Same old pathetic message that sounds like " due to the high number of calls we are unable to answer etc etc etc." Waiting time one to one and a half hours.as if anyone who has a life can wait that long. It is a pathetic, 3rd-4th rate service to which we pay premium rates.Look elsewhere folks because I will.I don't see why a great country like Australia has to put up with crap like this

Not at Personal Info Expense

Use to be good as a card product, but not at my personal info being leaked to scammers. That expense cannot be recouped, and what's more a 'sorry for leaking your personal info' and that i now have to protect myself and do all the work the company should be doing due to their mistakes (forced employment at my own cost!)...it just doesn't cut it.

Personal identity theft is a crime, and companies that contribute to it through negligence/neglect and incompetence should be held accountable. Why do companies get special protection when normal people don't? If I accidentally shoot someone without intent, I still can be changed for manslaughter....

Once a great card and Latitude ruined this

This was once a great card but over last couple of years they made changes which practically ruined the card. I had made a booking for Easter for the family and after cyber attack that payment cant go through (assuming they have blocked it) and now I cant get anyone who could log into the account and all service centers are closed. Poor Customer Service

Force recipients to download their app to activate replacement card. Tried calling but disconnected after about 10min wait and blamed "technical difficulties". I don't believe that. Bad company

I was approved for a credit card in June was then asked to provide my bank crn and password I refused this rang and got someone who said I should not have been asked for that information and found out the offer had been withdrawn and to apply again I tried every couple of days and it was refused every time have tried to find out why but no luck. Show details

Useless card for traveling overseas

28 degrees used to be a very good card for traveling, but now when you try to use it overseas, the transaction is declined most times and then they send you a sms to ask if you had tried to use it at your location.1 for yes, 2 for no. But by the time you receive the text (and you need to have your Australian mobile phone with you), it is too late, as you have given up and paid with an alternative credit card. Even after contacting them, and they say they have fixed the problem, card is still declined. If you are traveling, ensure you have other payment method with you. Show details

Not fit for purpose. Inept customer experience overseas with mobile verification required

Latitude and the 28 Degrees MasterCard has been the cause of one of my biggest frustrations when overseas. It constantly requires mobile sms verification despite many/most overseas users not having their local number when overseas. What a pathetic and inept customer experience. Does anyone at Latitude actually use this card when travelling? Do the 2FA/MFA through email or the app if needed, not pathetically sending people to a phone number they cannot access when overseas. Other banks have thought through their processes on verification when people are overseas but not inept Latitude/28 Degrees
