Wow, Fast Efficient Service and a Great Product Delivered

Excellent and friendly service

Your service is efficient, reasonable prices, great choice of gifts. The web site should allow the choice of wine as an option rather than putting it as a comment in the delivery instructions. I ordered a gift box of beauty products online to be delivered on my friends birthday. The parcel arrived in the morning of the day - to my friends surprise and delight.
The website is easy to use. Payment was easy and instructions for delivery clear and concise.

Fantastic first experience

I ordered a Gift Hamper to my partners mother on her birthday. The customer service was very friendly and helped expedite my order! Will certainly use them again.

Would not even give one star if i did not have too.

Ordered on the 9th May to be delivered on the 12th May a mothers day basket and balloon over $100 and they promised it would be delivered on the friday as they do not deliver on weekends. So 95 year old mother got no mothers day present thanks A GIFT WORTH GIVING- dont think so

I am told this was delivered and Adam L signed for it, there is not even an Adam works at the address given or at the organisations on either side of the address. want a refundA gift worth giving never bothered to contact me today and my 95 year old mum is still waiting for her basket I paid over $100 for. The nursing home told me they had phoned and they told them the same as they told me no Adam L works at the centre. Also the full address I put on my order was not given to Star Trak.

Not impressed

Purchased a new baby hamper for family who live in another state from me. Seems reasonable prices online and read some good reviews. However the hamper was delivered to my address in the ACT rather than QLD as requested. Contacted the company and they said someone tried to call me as they were packing as they could see it might be addressed incorrectly. I never received a call or had a missed call for that matter and the hamper was still sent despite their concern. Once the hamper arrived at my house I asked if it could be picked up and courier to the correct address. Response was at least two weeks and would cost me at least $30 which was more than sending it myself through Aus POST. The point of the purchase was convenience and reasonable price but it's ended up costing me more than I hoped. I won't be using their service again unfortunately.

Professional and Kind

I live in NY, and was shipping flowers to a friend who's father passed away suddenly. Being very far away, and having never visited, I am of very little help - but they were truly wonderful. They took it upon themselves to reach out to my friend, confirm the address and deliver these without any hitches. In addition, they were sure to kindly let me know that they'd take care of this, and confirmed that they were delivered. I could not ask for better customer service. I'd highly recommend them - any day!

Fantastic service

I ordered a hamper on Tuesday 20 December and asked for delivery prior to Christmas. I was told by a staff member that delivery prior to Christmas couldn't be guaranteed but they would do their best. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from my brother this morning (Thursday 22 December) advising he had received his hamper. It has made his day so thank you so much for such wonderful service.

The best for businesses wanting to send gifts to clients

I have been using A Gift Worth Giving for a number of years now when sending Christmas gifts to my clients for my business as well as personally for my friends and family.

Filomena is always a pleasure to deal with, instead of using the website, I literally just call her up and tell her the person I am sending it to and how much I'd like to spend and she guides me through the rest to make each one customised. Really simple and I know the gifts are great because I always receive a thank you phone call afterwards from whoever I send them to!

Wrong product & no response

Ordered a hamper for my Mother in Law's birthday. It was a set of green tea beauty products (shower gel, body spray, & body lotion) in a cute container that could later hold tea bags. When arrived to her was a box of 3 little hand lotion tubes. It was a bit of a surprise when she called to say she had received the hand lotion. Looking at the site, the hand lotion was $2.00 cheaper however the issue for us was that we carefully chose the set we'd ordered because she likes it. Our chosen item was not listed as out of stock on site and we were never notified a substitute was being sent out. Have emailed the company twice with no reply. Disappointed.

Addendum: have heard back from them & they've said it was their mistake. HOWEVER, they ask that I now deal with it by calling my Mother in Law (who of course opened her gift upon receipt), repackage and prepare to ship back to them the incorrect gift they sent out. (My mother in law being disabled and living hours away from us which is why we had a gift shipped). Only then will they refund us - despite the fact they sent a cheaper gift than I paid for and the mistake was entirely theirs as after this time, now our original gift is out of stock. I can honestly say I've never experienced such bad customer service in a response to an error. I really hope people considering using this company will take my experience as a warning. We are reporting to dept of fair trade but realise there won't be a fix for us, it's just to be able to warn other potential customers. To be fair & honest- as above they have offered for us to ship back & then receive refund. I can't ask this of my Mother in Law (any reasonable person could see this would be embarrassing, & difficult to do) so to be open & honest, we are not able to take that offer. In the end we have received a partial refund for the incorrect item.

Over And Above Normal Service

We have been using A Gift Worth Giving for many years and have ALWAYS found them more than fair and professional in all transactions and dealings. Recently been dealing with them and just to show you how efficient they are, I was contact by Carla to find out what message I wanted attached to our many orders (as usually we do that) but I had in my busy week had completely forgotten to add. Our clients also ALWAYS comment on the products and how well presented they are when delivered. I can only say that this is one organization that is on our "favourites" list

Never Using Again

I cannot yet comment on the quality of the hamper as having it delivered is proving to be a nightmare. We are being charged a second fee to have it redelivered as the couriers returned the gift to the company less than five days after the original delivery date.

Their website states: "If the recipient is not home and the delivery driver deems it unsafe to leave the hamper a calling card will be left. The recipient can then arrange to collect the gift from their local post office at their convenience." but apparently this is entirely untrue.

Given this is a company that specialises in gifts, making it so hard for the recipient to access the gift in their own time seems ridiculous.

There was also absolutely no communication to let us know this was happening until I chased them to find out why the hamper had not been delivered. Since AGWG will not let me cancel the order (despite the fact that it was a standard hamper with no special instructions and which could be resold at any time), I have no option but to pay the extra fee. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I have sent hampers overseas with considerably less trouble and with far better customer service and I will never be using this company again.

Unreliable and uncaring!!!

On 1st Sept.at 1.45pm I ordered and paid for via Paypal a gift basket worth $123.95, including $14.95 fee for next-day delivery. This order was to have been an 88th birthday surprise from our large family for our father and grandfather, who was unwell and who had recently lost his beloved wife of 61 years. Although I found it odd that I did not receive any acknowledgement from AGWG that my order would be processed, I assumed that since payment was immediately accepted, my father would receive his birthday gift on 2nd Sept. As he was home alone on that day, we all wondered why he had not phoned, only that evening when we gathered to celebrate with him, to discover that nothing had been delivered!!! We were upset and extremely disappointed, especially as the ordered wine,nibbles etc. were to have been shared at our get-together with him that night. My siblings were also angry that I hadn't dealt with A Little Luxury, as we'd previously done for others over several years, with no problems. The next day 3rd. Sept. when I rang AGWG a pleasant woman told me they had NO RECORD of my order BUT had been having problems lately when people pay with Paypal. She agreed the problem was something to do with their company and didn't know what was going on but added that the owner would be coming in that afternoon and that she would email me later that day, having verified my email address. As the anticipated email never came, I became more upset but decided to give the owner the benefit of the doubt. I waited until 7th Sept. to complain and was told that the owner had refunded my payment of $123.95 on 3rd Sept., along with a note of apology and that I should have first checked my Paypal account! Of course, I hadn't as I was expecting her email, which never came and neither was the said NOTE OF APOLOGY on Paypal - absolutely NOTHING!! This is not a professional way to run a company, especially if customer service is a priority and we are none the wiser as to why our beloved elderly father's birthday was largely ruined by AGWG... It appears obvious that this owner does not care about people, only $$...
