January 2022. Tree falls and cuts the house in half. Make safe done within days. June 2022. That make safe is falling apart. If we have had 20 calls to AJ Grant by ourselves and Comminsure, we have had 30. There is water into the house the ply sheets are falling apart and have split, the are coming aware from the ceiling, there is mould inside the house on the make safe installed January 2022. Promised everything and Oh yes its urgent just nothing happens. AJ Grant will respond here asking to contact them at reviews@ ajgrant

After the recent Hail Storm event AJ Grant were chosen by our Insurance Company to make the repairs to our house. They proceeded to farm this work out to a smaller company/contractor. Honestly, worse company ever. Took time off work only for Len to not bother showing up. Guy named Trent would have to be the rudest most arrogant person in history.
Noticed all the reviews here are either 1 or 5 stars. Seems glaringly obvious who is writing all the 5 star reviews. I would highly recommend using an insurance company that does NOT use AJ Grant.

Following a recent hail storm AJ Grant Group carried out repairs to my damaged home. Assessor’s were very quick to come to my home. Repairs carried out quickly, very efficient and friendly workers.

After waiting a very long time to arrange a time that worked with these guys through our insurance, the work that was done poorly (silicone was badly done and didn't colour match) the builder took longer then expected and when I came home from work there were items missing from my house. Haven't been able to get in touch to enquire about it. Obviously unimpressed

It’s incredible that you’d need to fight for alternative accommodation when you have pets and there’s work to the most part of the house. Insurer had no problem with it

I cannot speak too highly of my experience with A.J. Grant. I needed a complete re-build of my toilet and laundry area and I was stressed at the thought of not being able to use them for any period of time especially since the toilet was the only one I have.
Then to add to this I have 7 dogs in residence, rescue dogs that may pose a risk to trades. All my concerns were addressed by the very organised and considerate project manager Roxanne Duncan. She arranged for temporary fencing for my dogs, a portable toilet and advised me of days that trad...

I had to get my rear roof replaced by insurance last august
It is the end of January i am waiting for my ceilings inside the bedrooms repaired and still got exposed electrical outside and water leaks the contractor they used charged me $600 cash to replace some panels and would not keep working till I paid
Inside my roof is like a motel for the birds they should be deregistered

I had the A.J Grant team from Wagga Wagga just repair water damage to my ensuite and laundry, from the initial assessment with Matt and Andrew though to Beau and his team of tradesmen I am so thankful for the work performed

Same as Phil, they under quoted our repairs by about $4000. Their scope of work was missing items but they or the insurance company would not listen. They have been out three times and the quality of work is disgusting, we’re in the process of trying to settle but we are going to be so out of pocket as we have to replace even more than the original damage to get rid of the mess they made.

Youi appointed AJ Grant to carry out our repairs. Frank the mould specialist was first in and brilliant. Then along came Shane and his team of workers to rip it out and literally rebuild our bathroom, toilet and adjoining bedroom. During the covid lockdown, they continued with the repairs to a certain point, as it was emergency work so got things to a stage where we had a bathroom and toilet back in use again. If your insurer uses AJ Grant’s, I’d recommend you change insurers. Just like other victims here, we’ve found them to massively under quote works. You will not get a fair settlement from your insurer if they become involved.

Be warned! Do not pay your excess fees to them and instead ask your insurance to recommend a different company or find repairers yourself and ask insurance to deal with you directly.

Damaged Garage Door. They were very quick to send their people to assess and do quotations/scope of work.
I then paid the excess directly to them and signed the scope of work after my insurer, Westpac/St George had approved the repairs. Then they started all the delays with poor excuses.

I worked with Steve from the Mold Restoration part of the business and he was excellent to deal with. So thorough and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer man to help with my Reno post storm.

Chris was amazing to deal with, from the first phone call to the follow up call after the work was complete. Nothing at all was a problem and he always went above and beyond. All work was completed on time. Very highly recommended
