Window locks and fly screen
The window locks on our sliding windows may aswell not be there as once again, the plastic bolt just breaks with a little bit of effort when opening a locked window by accident. I’d hate to think I’d force was actually used!! Would you put plastic locks on doors?? Fly screen has developed. Hole too so doesn’t screen much anymore :(

Nice product but watch the HIDDEN costs
I ordered a large stacker door which looks good - it is a nice product. But when paying for it, the sales assistant told me that I didn't have to pay for the flyscreens yet, that could be done later ... what she failed to tell me was that unless I ordered them together I get TWO install fees (of $185 each).
Further, I got my builder to build the opening as per the specifications that A and L set. When A and L came to install the stacker door, they could not fit it to the opening because the stacker door is very deep (they did not tell me...how deep, despite me asking in an email which wasnt answered!) and the screw holes are on the inner side. My builder put the hole flush with the outside of the house. A and L took no responsibility for not giving clear instructions for the builder to follow - so guess what - a lot of stress and yet ANOTHER $185 fee .. I am still saving for those flyscreens, just annoyed that I will end up paying almost as much in install fees as the things are worth ... In a nutshell, if you are installing this product into an existing house, make very sure you ask for very specific details on the opening, the depth of the doors, and the fixing points. And make sure you organise things so there is only one delivery fee. On the positive side, I have had a couple of issues with the doors, and A and L have come out and fixed them quite promptly, although it took a couple of visits to address the issue.

Business work flow has flaws - installers are good people
Changing my review from 1 star to 3
The business is could be better at its workflows and customer engagement.
The installers are good people, helpful, they alone have revived the score.
The products are good aswell.
Original review below
"Coral Homes' chosen windows installer.
Unsure what else I can say that hasn't already been said ad nauseum.
I'm usually sceptical of really bad reviews, but we have experienced almost all of what everyone is saying."
Had ongoing problems with our windows half of them would not close properly and we're letting in air/water etc The builder kept trying to put it back on the window company A and L's guys came out and sorted the problems but after a couple of months the issues returned we even had glass crack. We ended up getting a 3rd party inspection report as we had other issues It turned out NONE of the windows were installed properly by the builders contractors and over time were bowing more and more causing various issues Apparently this is a common cause
Now we are pulling our hair out getting this fixed by the builder
Questions & Answers
We have a house built by Porter Davis with A & L sliding windows & doors throughout the house. We are experiencing issues with sliding windows. All the plastic sliding windows locks are either not working or have been broken while we have tried to unlock and open the windows. Can you please help us with replacement locks? Is it possible to get better quality metal locks? Also would you please send us instructions to replace these locks? Thank you for all your help in advance.
Would you be able to send across your details to email@example.com? Team would be glad to help you out and assist with replacement as well.

I have a complaint about the service of A&L door.
I ask to replace a rotting wood window frame that is 5 years old.
Lorraine Barnett told me to pay the money for this up front, in October 2020.
not until Feb 17th she found out A&L do not make them any more and will have to refund. This should of been know before asking me to place a order.
Now I can't seem to get a refund even though she told me they would refund. Still waiting, and it is now end of March 2021.
We really apologise for the inconvenience and will follow this up right away. We will certainly take on board your feedback and ensure no other customers are affected. I will be in touch with you shortly to discuss further
