Hi Linda. Yes I heard that also. But I have found that it was largely due to perhaps unfounded expectations. I would recommend that you contact Margaret and discuss your concerns with her direct.

Absolutely terrible Linda. Try City Swoon or elsewhere, that actually make an effort to match you with like minded people. AT46 tell you they do this at sign up time, but then once they have you cash, there is no effort, upon enquiring as to how they match people up together, I never received a response. It's a scam. Stay clear.

I have been to a few events with A Table for Six so far I have enjoyed myself and have met some lovely members. Question (1) What is your selection process for dinner membership?
(2) How does everyone avoid the trolls who write such awful reviews?

The trolls wouldn’t write such awful reviews if they got the opportunity to go out for dinner which is what they pay their membership for. Dinner with other diners is lovely, that is not the issue. The issue is paying membership to be included in dinners, which often doesn’t happen.

Totally agree with you Lois. I find it impossible to get invites to dinners and it’s frustrating and I feel ripped off. Constantly being overlooked when I know others are successful is soul destroying and it was a lot of money I spent for virtually zilch. The excuses are always the same. If there is a shortage of men stop taking innocent women’s money.

Table for six do you think you have met your monthly contractual obligation if a person applies for two dinners per week and gets invited to no dinners that month which is my experience with you.

Hi Bel: In general I get into most dinner in my age group, but that seems to be with males as there do not seem to be many males compared with females. Don't know what age group you are in. But I do like the meet ups I have had with Table for six but not like the new web page Ian

When are you going to reply to all my emails and telephone calls, Table for Six? I've paid you hundreds of dollars but you have never, ever bothered to (1) return my phone calls, or (2) book me onto even one dinner. Warning to others, don't pay them a cent!

Hi Karen,

Thank you for your question.

Membership fees for our dinner introductions at the Gold Coast are $399 for a 14 month membership. Once we co-ordinate a suitable group for you at dinner, there is a booking fee of $33.00.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you would like me to phone to provide all the relevant information.

This company needs to be investigated by channel 9s A current Affair program or 60 minutes. If enough people register on their these websites a complaint with table for six ripping them off they will run a story for sure

On their website there are dinners listed in the age group bracket 45 - 55 and 60 - 70. So yes, it looks like they can cater for you. There are also cocktail parties available that are open age group.

I note the review posted by BBB where they mentioned "wider opportunities" and the official representative mentions "other activities". Just what are these wider opportunities and other activities? Are they included with your membership if one were to join?

Hi and thank you for your question.

Our dinners and the members you meet offer a myriad of opportunities. Maximise your opportunities for meeting positive, like minded singles by requesting contact numbers of those you meet at dinner. Expand your social circle, make new connections, they are looking forward to meeting you.

I also encourage singles to participate in other activities that bring them joy, whatever, that is for you. Make your life so interesting and full that when your special someone meets you, they won't be able to resist being around you and joining in on your fantastic life.

I hope this helps. I would be happy to provide more information and insights and would love to hear from you.

Thanks for the response and clarification Margaret, so the wider opportunities and other activities are simply those that could / can arise as a result of attending A Table for Six dinners and cocktail parties

Hi there,
I would like to start meeting people and a table for six sounds like a great idea!
Before registering, was wonder if I could ask for the group to be around my age range and as well location is important. Also are the dinners on a set day of the week or can choose date & time?
Thanks!

Margaret N.A Table for Six

Hi Matilde,

Thank you for the enquiry. We always co-ordinate dinner groups for our members in age groups around your own age. The dinners are on set days of the week depending on the city you live in.

In regard to location, I would need to know if you only wish to attend in certain suburbs, or a wider geographical area.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. If you would like to speak, please call on 1300 885 311 or 0420 945 954 and I will be happy to provide all the relevant information.

Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

Hi everyone,
I'm in my early thirties. Are there enough participants in this age range or is this a dating idea for single people a little older than I am?

Hi, Thanks for the question. Our youngest age group for our Tables for Six is 30-40. You will meet singles in their 30's. There are plenty of members to meet in that age group. And lots of success stories too. Please let me know if you would like any more information.
