Bad customer experience

They even do not know how to manage an inquiry or properly communicate - BAD Customer Communication - Happy I am leaving this terrible service !!
i've called them to get better prices for the renewal; and they gave me almost nothing (as a discount); when i said i am not interested; they cut me off on the phone!! Show details

SEEK real professionals some where else!!!

I have been a loyal customer since 2017.
They never, ever had stepped up for me. When I needed them the most. and not even when All needed was just a small back up.

Fake AMMI reviews

Awful rude service when a female clerk immediately rejected my claim over the phone as the driver I was claiming against gave a false address or previous address and SA Police would do nothing to help. The AAMI website gives themselves a 4.4 star rating but that relates to their website user feedback not their insurance cover, very crafty marketing Show details

Awful customer service - don’t waste your time

Terrible customer service. Wait times on phone are too long and staff don’t listen. Online complaint form doesn’t work, customer service emails read like they are answered by bots and app is crap. Just avoid. Show details

Unlucky Your With AAMI

I have been using AAMI for many years and remember when every phone call was answered and directed by a friendly human being. NOT any more. Their customer service is terrible.

Aami, your customer service is not what it used to be. Instead of spending money on ridiculous Television ads , why don't you put a bit more effort into your customer service and the functionality of your website.

Getting through the long-winded customer service line is almost impossible, and the website is not user friendly. What happened to good old AAMI, every call was directed by a human being? Show details

AAMI can kiss my a*rse goodbye

For Fire and Theft on a 2005 bomb, the renewal was going to cost me just under $1000. That's more than everyone pays on comprehensive with other companies. Fire and Theft?? I've been with AAMI since 2015 and have only made a claim once back in 2017. Went straight to GIO and renewed my insurance for just over $500. Even their comprehensive was cheaper. Show details

Paid Excess and still waiting

Hit and run driver damaged our car on Feb 25 2023, AAMI demanded the excess be paid 3 weeks after the accident, this was paid on 16th March and now 20th April the car is still sitting up in the neighbours yard, hasn't even been looked at. AAMI are also still deducting the monthly premiums even though our car is not on the road, we have now stopped payments coming out through the bank. Spend 2 hours on the phone and then told I had to go ask the driver of the other vehicle if he had insurance. Big mistake using AAMI for any type of insurance.

AAMI do not honour the policies stay away from them

Roller door damaged by winds and AAMI came back with according to our records the winds were not strong enough i live on a hill. they will not honour the policy. absolutely disgusted with with insurance company. Show details

Not recommend ever

Hours waiting on the phone
Whole day only to tell my story and on the end person did not even took my details as for court hearing and etc….now I have to call again to to the same drill.

Impossible to call to make a claim

Impossible to call them to make a claim.
Chat-bot doesn't work.
Website doesn't recognizes policy numbers
No email addresses
After digging deep the only email address I could find was aami@aami.com.au to make complaints.
Although, I have to admit, it's very easy to contact them to purchase a new policy.

The is no luck involved with AAMI. no service, website glitches, 1.5 hour (and counting) on hold

House claim, Un-assessd, but people are coming to fix before it has been assessed, approved or denied.
I can't bring details of claim up on their website, phone calls on hold for nearly 2 hours.
