generally works fine – Look I will be kinder than other reviewers, it does what it says on the box but just not to a high enough standard for what you pay, wouldnt waste my money

Necessity in winter – I purchased this vaporizer for winter as my house gets stuffy. I like the many features that it offers. Being able to have more or less steam running has been great, the coloured lights look pretty. The funtion of having it on for 30 secs and then off for 30 secs means it stays on for a long period of time. I can leave the house for a few hours and come back to a fresh smelling home. Button functions got messed up, night lamp & anion buttons not working – It was working like an angel the first two nights of usage, but after the THIRD, the button functions got all messed up. once--this should've been for continuous mode) or continuously (press twice--should've been intermittent mode) using the night lamp button, with no other functions. Also, once the cable is plugged into the product, it turns on automatically (without even pressing the night lamp button). There are no leaks, however, and the mist is fine too.

Broke leaked and ruined furniture – Broke in the middle of the night leaking all over new bedside table. Cracked and ruined. Customer manager hasn’t refused to contact me. Waste of money – I bought this in feb this year used it for a week as my daughter was congested i tried to use it again today and the water was leaking everywhere all over my carpet!!! Perfect its part of our every day now – Kids and I absolutely love it! Bought it when my bub had bronchitis for the third time and my friend said she has been using Ables ultrasonic vaporiser for her daughter who has asthma and it helps them so much. Crap – Purchased first one end of September and it lasted 2 weeks and then water started leaking out from the sides. Took it back and was given a new one and the same thing happened after the second time I used it. Now I cannot even turn it on. What a cheap and nasty product.  Show details

Dangerous – Water leaking out the side. This machine is dangerous. Purchased mine from Terry White chemist Orange. This is my second one. First one lasted 4weeks, was given another was used twice. Not working now. Staff made me feel that I was doing something wrong, and now I have done the research I'm disgusted, so beyond annoyed as this was in my daughters bedroom. Able Vapouriser – I bought the first one back in June 2017 and now at the end of September the unit is leaking fluid from the cracked and split top cover and I suspect it is because the materials it has been made from are either substandard or cannot be used with fragrant oils as advertised. this one because I was impressed with the fist one but even they are also showing signs of the plastic top cover failing.

In view of the unit costing $90 I think this is outrageously priced and falsely advertised as being able to use fragrant oils. I have since bought small cheap ones from $5 to $8 from a shopping site on line and they are showing no signs of failing. The only problem with those is that the need switching on every two hours to keep the rooms fresh and fragrant.

Purchased 2, within 4 weeks both are dead! Possibly dangerous with water pouring from side! – Purchased two ABLE VapourMist Hunidifers through Priceline Pharmacy. We liked these as they were quiet in the store. So purchased one for our sons bedroom and our room. Previously had $20 humidifiers purchased from ebay. They were a little noisy but reliable. less than 4 weeks where one just started buzzing then died. We contacted the manufacturer, they said they were going to send us as new one as they stand by their product.

Alright, we may have picked up a lemon!

BUT......We couldn't believe it when the second one, a day later, water started pouring out the side when the plastic water container connects to the base. Luckily my son picked it up. Water all over the carpet.

They thing is now dead. I am presuming that water has got into the electrical part and blown it. Could this have caused an electric shock to my son if water had gotten into the electrics, or could have caused something worse, possible electrocution! To me this is quite dangerous!

Very unhappy with this product and would suggest people to stay well clear of this product.

One to die in 4 weeks, but two...plus water pouring out the side when there is electricity running through it!

It is very lucky I gave it a 1 star as it should get a negative -5 star!

When using the Vapour Mist Humidifier, the essential oil doesn't give out any smell – The reason why I purchased the Humidifer was to be able to use esssential oils. Able's Essential Oil costs @21! I feel cheated ... as I did specify my requirement to the pharmacy's staff.

Not very effective & leaks – The water bubbles and leaks out between the unit and the lid. I have made sure the lid is on properly and it still leaks. So you have to place it on a dish. It would not be suitable just anywhere due to all the leaking. I'm worried about the water running down the outside and into where the electric cord plugs into the unit. It is very noisy… Read more

which is not a good idea when you want to sleep. It sounds like a fish tank. I've seen better ones in action.

NOTE - It is not like a steam vaporiser that clears your sinuses and soothes your throat and chest.

It gives out little puffs of steam.

I would like to return mine to the chemist. It was recommended by the chemist for my parent who is in a nursing home but it won't be suitable.

Would have been good if it continued working past a few months – The first couple of months, the vaporiser seemed pretty good, my daughter's night coughing from the cold dry air eased right up, but it stopped working properly and as I'd lost the receipt, I couldn't take it back. It still makes pretty light colours and sort of bubbles the surface of the water, but it doesn't create the stream of vapour that it did at first. False advertising, does not allow for essential oil – We were so disappointed in this product. When we purchased it from a pharmacy, we specifically asked for a vaporizer that allowed us to put essential oil in as our child was ill with a chest infection and we wanted to add eucalyptus oil. Works good... but – This works good. But has a little tube on the inside with a flimsy cover that can knock off easily. If water gets in it - even while filling. The machine no longer works. Loving this product – Bought The Able Ultrasonic Vapouriser and liking it very much. Breathing better and it soothes my headache. Making me feel heaps better. Excellent for stress after a long day.

I've had other ultrasonic vapourisers, this one is perfect, easy to wipe clean and has a beautiful choice of night lights.

Visitors to my home always comment on the freshness of my environment.

I took it to class while studying as an experiment.

Interestingly, on the days it had it with me,

we (the students) were more alert in the afternoon and not tired.

It worked well to remove the stuffiness of the classroom. Improved concentration.

The days i left it at home my fellow students complained asking me to bring it every day.

They loved it!

It quickly healed the classroom when there were sniffles during winter.

Our classroom had central heating and it was impossible to adjust, so the Vapouriser worked well to give freshness to the dry air.

Fanatastic Product – Bought this for my son's bedroom as he had a dry cough that was keeping him awake. From the very first night we noticed the difference and we could get a good nights sleep! Cool mist is far safer than our steam unit. Love the cute night lights too. We cam across the product as our son uses the Able Spacer too. Great brand Able, I would definitely recommend with the Able Essential Oil too.

Waste of money – After doing research I purchased the Able Ultrasonic Vaporiser and found it did not do the job, the water stays cold so the steam does not help in any way in clearing a blocked nose or chest,. I do not recommend it and have wasted my money, should of purchased 1 of the other vaporisers on the market.

good performance – Bought one of these as 2 month old has a nasty viral cough. It seemed to help ease her overnight and I felt relief too. Took a chance on this product and very happy I did! It doesn't heat up so it's safe, it's mega easy to clean (wipe chamber with soft cloth) and you can add essential oils to the water if you want. It can be run continuously or 30 sec on/off intervals. Changing light colour, choose one or no light. Auto shut off when water gets too low.

So happy with this product I'll probably get another for our room. Cannot recommend enough!
