Beware of overcharging, for a start!
About Life started out fine in Port Melbourne, but has really gone down hill. I get businesses need to be profitable, but if you have no customers left due to cheapening everything about your store, you'll have no customers left, to worry about your profit!
Stocked brands are diminishing by the day, with inferior About Life brands covering the shelves. Overcharging (and charging for items that aren't even in your bag) is rife in this business, along with uncalibrated scales, so if you're purchasing something that is being weighed, you're aut...Read more
omatically overcharged by a little bit - ensure you ASK for then check your receipt! Oh - and don't bother trying to phone to speak with anyone about being overcharged, as the line goes unanswered... Produce is always hit and miss - mostly a miss. Store Management are aware but hands are tied dealing with Sydney - I feel for the team in this store, constantly having to make excuses for poor management. It's definitely wearing thin.
