Don't bother, cleaner was obviously untrained.
The cleaner seemed reliable initially and I had left clear instructions of what was expected, only to realise that he had spent 2 of the 3 hours on a small 1sqm kitchen.
He then attempted to finish up with vacuuming and had to be reminded 3x of the other tasks which were yet to be completed and yet left without vacuuming and mopping the main living area as clearly instructed.
Upon inspecting, it was clear that he had no idea how to clean. The glass in the bathrooms were left dirtier than even before the clean and the sinks were clearly untouched. The tables that I'd asked to be wiped were clearly left dirty. I had to vacuum and mop the house again due to the obvious shoddy job. Will not recommend.
Clean was terrible, customer service worse
First clean they didn’t touch the wet areas as I had specially requested so 3 days later I had to pay for them to come back. It was very ordinary. Third clean, cleaner advised she was leaving and left my bathrooms in a disgusting state. When I text her about it she said ‘Sorry I missed it’. Addressed it with the company (took two emails to get an initial reply), they offered a free clean to which I accepted, and haven’t heard back. I then emailed requesting a refund of monies may be a more suitable way to settle my complaint and still didn’t hear back. Disgusting service.
Unreliable, unprofessional, home left dirtier ‘after my cleaning service
Spoke to cleaner at 9am to confirm booking which cleaner responded saying they were 10 minutes away. After waiting for 3 hours and numerous phone calls. Cleaner could not be reached.
Cleaner arrived 5 hours late and left after 1 and a half hours (for a 3 hour booking) On return, the place was beyond dirty. The floors were sticky and worse than we left them. No counter tops or table were cleaned. Being a pregnant frontline worker nurse in a pandemic I was really upset we have not only wasted a whole day but a much dirtier house to fix.
First cleaner was good, then left AD after a year and left us as a result unfortunately Second cleaner was more expensive, slower, and left us after one clean. Third cleaner left AD and so never started with us. Forth cleaner said she'd start with us in a month and changed her mind after two weeks and getting AD to find another cleaner. I say this to AD: don't bother. We need some form of reliability of service, and this has been the opposite.

I had a cleaner through Absolute Domestics (AD) for 6 years; the cleaner and I became good friends. My cleaner cleaned every second Tuesday and I advised that I wouldn't need a clean for 10 weeks due to renovations on my house. So I did not need her for 5 cleans. Both she and I advised AD of this and the person I spoke to said that she would note on my file that the cleaner would not be cleaning for 10 weeks, i.e. 5 cleans. Some weeks later, my cleaner received a letter from AD advising they would be taking legal action against her as they ...claimed she owed them $100 in placement fees and insurance for cleans she had completed at my house. These cleans were the ones I had advised AD didn't need to be done due to home renovations. My cleaner was most upset and to sort the issue, I called AD and explained that my cleaner did not clean during that time and that I had previously advised them of that, as had my cleaner. The person I spoke to refused to confirm if my prior advice was on my file. As others have noted on this review site, trying to get information/acknowledgement from AD staff can be like getting blood from a stone. My cleaner did contact AD about the letter and advised that I, the client, did not require cleaning for 10 weeks and that AD had been advised of that. The outcome was that the threat of legal action was dropped, however, my cleaner was deregistered from the company. So, I can only assume that AD finally realised that my cleaner DID NOT owe them $100, and instead of apologising to her, or even admitting their mistake, they deregistered her. I do have a copy of the letter (threat of legal action) sent to her and will be interested to read AD's response to this review. I am prepared to put up a pic of the letter, with all identifying information deleted. From reading other reviews here, it does seem that AD are very reluctant to admit an error on their part. Shameful.
Traumatic experience- company unwilling to support safety of clients or staff.
Cleaners were hired for an end of lease clean. When they arrived at the property they commented the house was quite clean and the job would only take them 1.5hours (money and time were never an issue for me, this was their decision) I agreed, believing I would return to a fully cleaned house. On return the house was not clean, they were hurriedly mopping and wiping walls and explained it taken slightly longer and I would be charged more. I had no issue, paid in cash. Once the cleaners had left I walked through the house and discovered it was no...t in any way clean. There was obvious dust, cobwebs, marks on walls and floors. There was also stains from dropped cleaning products on the clean carpet and curtains. I called the cleaners, completely confused and understandably unhappy. They returned, I explained my concerns to the female cleaner. She then went and got the male cleaner, who entered my house, was very verbally aggressive, yelling at me in close proximity. I asked him to stop yelling and said I would have to call the police. The female cleaner attempted to interject and offered to just complete the cleaning, at which point the male grabbed her by the arms, shoved her into a door and then dragged her by her arm. Police were called. The cleaners left. I was left absolutely traumatised. I spoke to management who completely minimised my experience by telling me they had never experienced this man to be violent and had only had previous positive feedback. They also stated as a company there was nothing they could do about the reported violence as it was a private matter as the pair are married. Despite it being a clear breach of duty of care for employees and clients. They also disputed that the booking was for an end of lease clean and said I received the service I had paid for. I still haven’t received a receipt of payment. All up I was left traumatised in a filthy house. An experience that cost me $185. Following up with work safe as I cannot believe a company can take such a stance on a safety issue.
Be extremely wary of Absolute Domestics. I was quoted $165 for a spring clean for 3 hours. I received a call from the cleaners themselves quoting me $345 instead of the $165. Deceitful and untrustworthy to customers. I would not recommend this company as a cleaning service.
Misleading advertisements and unprofessional subcontractors.
This company advertises 3 hours of ’spring cleaning’ only to send you information AFTER booking that it will be split between the number of people. This meant that the 2 people who came both only cleaned for 1.5 hours even though I had told them I required 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms cleaned.
In order to amend this misleading advertisement, the company will send you a ‘follow up email’ explaining this ‘time split’. However, in my case I did not even receive this email until AFTER the cleaners had arrived and started cleaning.
If I was advised...beforehand I would not have used the services because there has definitely not been sufficient time to clean the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that I had listed in my original request and there was no mention by anyone in the entire process from the company itself to the subcontractors that I was directed to of this. The equipment that was used was subpar, definitely not sufficient for a spring clean, and although the cleaners were good, due to the equipment they were unable to clean my house to an acceptable standard leaving my floors wet from mopping and stained. They were also late to our appointment arriving at 10am when our original agreed time was 8:30am and I attribute this to the organisation of this company not having enough staff for cases where additional hours are required to be added on by clients (which I assume is frequent given their misleading advertising). Furthermore, the two contacts I was provided with were not the actual cleaners either requiring ANOTHER process to contact the actual cleaners. This second subcontractor did not even know that the cleaners were late until I contacted them myself and only then did they try to reach their ‘staff’ or whoever they sent. Overall this has been an exceptionally unprofessional experience and has resulted in me having to either redo the work myself. Do not use this company.
Booked a spring clean and carpet clean for same day. Organisation of these people was terrible. Spring cleaner did a good job but was nearly an hour late after being given wrong time by central command. When carpet cleaners were nearly 2 hours late i texted central command and was told they were on their way which i dont believe to be true. I cancelled the carpet cleaners on the spot. I was not even offered an apology. Nothing. What a waste of a day. Customer service terrible.
Cleaner not up to scratch.
I was so impressed with the booking system but let down by the cleaning job. The cleaner worked slowly and was distracted with personal problems. Such a shame as I was wanting a regular cleaner.
I do not recommend their spring/move out cleaning service!
Never use them again, as they provided a very bad cleaning Service. They refused to do some basic cleaning jobs. They left dirty spots at so many places. They charged me more hours than what they actually worked. They wanted take away my cleaning clothes. The cleaners were rude during communication.
It would help if the cleaner turned up! Twice let down. Very unhappy customer!
First cleaner was ok, then gave no notification when not coming, booked a second cleaner, currently waiting for them house prepared & hasn't shown up!!! Useless! House dirty for 6 wk
I was very disappointed with the quality of the cleaning service. First impression of the cleaner: lacked professionalism, didn't present well and gave me the impression that we were not going to get the service we were hoping for. He didn't appear to know what he was doing and on a few occasions, looked rather lost and unsure of what to do. Apart from the vacuuming, he didn't leave our unit any better than when he arrived. The shower didn't look like it was cleaned at all - there were shoe marks on the floor and dirt everywhere. It was so bad ...that I had to re-do the shower myself. The bathroom sink looked like it only got a rinse, toothpaste residue was not removed and taps were not cleaned either. He did some surface level cleaning in the kitchen. No attention to detail, nor was there any care given - just surface cleaning. I might as well have done the cleaning myself. Really disappointed that as a first time client, this was the experience we received especially after your company came highly recommended by a colleague. Getting a cleaner is a luxury for me and something which I hoped would help free up my time so I can focus on looking after my ill partner. Wish I could give your business a positive review but after this experience, we were left sadly disheartened and feeling very discouraged. It was not money well spent.

I was provided with Hiral and her partner for my cleaning service. I was originally told that I would receive a call from Hiral to arrange a time. I never received a call. I had to call Hiral. I arranged a time with her to meet before she came to clean. She never turned up or bothered to let me know she wasn't turning up. When I finally got her on the phone she just said she had something else to take care of. No explanation or apology.
I was hoping this was just a once off and decided to give her a chance and let her clean. Her and her partne...r came to clean a couple of times but were late each time without letting me know they were going to be late. Getting a response from Hiral on the phone was virtually impossible. The second time I booked Hiral to clean after she was half an hour late I left home as I had to get to work. When I finally got to talk to Hiral again she didn't apologise and said she could come back tomorrow to clean. I decided to give her one last chance as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. She turned up the next morning, (still several minutes late), and did an ok clean. I persevered with Hiral one last time and made another time for my next clean. This time she didn't even bother to turn up! Again, she didn't have the courtesy to let me know she wasn't turning up or provide any explanation which was extremely rude and disrespectful. I am done with her after all the time I've wasted waiting around and trying to find out what's happening with her and her lack of communication and respect. Hiral has a lot to learn about business if she wants to keep clients and I would never recommend her. I have enough to deal with without dealing with a grossly unreliable cleaner.

Who mops a floor without it being vacuumed first?
Who says they have “moped a floor” when they haven’t and have clear pictures. I can not believe how disrespectful the staff are at this company. Not a good company nor a good service.
Poor attention to detail.
I would not recommend this company for your end of lease clean. The oven racks and oven still had baked on grease and my shower drain cover was not cleaned.
I would of expected it to be spotless as I went through a cleaning company, I would of been better just to do it myself than pay $200 for 4 hours as I ended up having to re do it myself as I needed it to be
Next time I would use an end of lease company recommended by real estate.
Dishonest and out of pocket
At the beginning of May I booked to get a Spring Clean. I paid upfront for 8 hrs of cleaning. The cleaners left after approx 5 hours. The cleaning was ok but not great. What they didn't know as there was camera surveillance on the front door so I saw when they left.
When I complained to Absolute Domestics I was referred to the sub contractor who asked me to provide time/date stamped images which I did. Then promised to refund the 3 hrs owed and said they cleaners had been given a formal warning. I was only refunded half of what I lost - obvious...
I had a bad cleaner - she gave me a hard time!
I had a number of problems with my cleaner Mel leading up to the actual clean.
She text and called me 5 times before she arrived asking me about parking even though I clarified it with the organisation beforehand. She didn’t pay attention to my parking instructions which were PayStay ticket parking nearby for $3-4 per hour and instead parked in an all day car park and expected me to pay her $50 car parking ( for 1.5hrs of cleaning)
I had arranged a 3hr , $165 clean with the organisation prior. Mel disregarded what had been arranged and said...it would take 7 hours. My apartment is small, very tidy and clean. It has never taken this long. What’s more, this was only a basic clean as well. She went on the give me a hard time, she wasn’t going to let up. The second person with her said I could have a $165 and eventually settled on a $165 clean because this is what I told and had budgeted for. I also gave her extra for parking as agreed previously. This clean however did not include dusting, skirtings, windows, fans, oven as was promised in the initial conversation. It was only basic run over kitchen bench tops eg marks on splash back not removed, bathrooms and basic vacum. Clean was quite good Unfortunately I was told one thing during the Initial ‘sales’ phone call, and Mel had something completely different in mind.
