The cleaners did not even arrive at scheduled date/time. No communication no message nothing. I texted her twice with no response. I can't believe they run a business like this !!!
Was told my daughter would be filthy because she is an NDIS participant.
[Name Removed] from Brisbane (2 of them so not sure surname) just told me that because my daughter is a NDIS human being. She would be more filthy then a person that can walk. I told her that was horrible to say and she laughed and told me it would be true. I told her I no longer want to talk to her and I ended the phone call. Additionally we were waiting for their cleaner by the name of [Name Removed] to call us to organise a time to clean next week. We have been waiting for the call for over 10 days now. [Name Removed] also said that her s...ystem showed that we had cancelled. If so why ring us. I am acutely shaking typing this review. Horrible inhumane statement made about my daughter. Another division of this form is HOUSE CLEAN. Please avoid them also.
Ordered end of lease cleanner. Travelled 276 kilometres to be at my.old unit by 10am.
Cleanner phone to say running late wouldn't be there until after 11.am.
11am arrived no cleanner. At 11.45 cleanners arrived 2 men in a small hatch back with a vacum cleanner in the back.
Once shown the unit to clean
I was told thst it will take 10 hours two men 5 hours each
Over $600 l said ok go ahead ...I was then told by the cleanner my unit will be done over 2 days l said that's ok One cleanner then went on to say that the boss told them to tell me that they will not be doing the job because it's to big of a job find someone else Called absolute domestic l told the the lady that answered the phone what happened the employee that answered the phone of absolute domestic apologize for my inconvenience and went on to say the company are not the boss they get the work for the cleanners then its out of their hands how cleanners conduct their job. The employer of Absolute domestic went on to say they will try find somebody else to clean my unit in the meantime l can look for someone else to clean my unit as well I did end up finding someone else that is coming out tomorrow morning and quoted hafe price with 10 times better service.
Terrible! Worst company I have ever come across!
Our cleaner had zero experience. No prior training except for a few videos the company had sent her for “training”. AD blamed covid for not being able to do training in person but that’s a crock of crap and who comfortably can employ someone they never met or trained to work in this industry. Poor girl had no prior training, had cleaned 3 houses the week before and that’s as far as experience went for her. She did not even know how to strip a bed. The house was left in a worse state then it was to begin with. The floors were slimy and marked, t...he chemicals used in the shower could have killed a horse and was if it had not even been cleaned away. The amount of product left on my kitchen bench took another 2 cleans to wipe off. And after I had to provide all the cleaning products myself, I returned to find 8 cloths wet and stuffed back in the cupboard in the cleaning basket. l also had to pay an agent fee on top of the hourly clean fee. Terrible company to say the least! After calling them direct twice they had every excuse under the sun but at the end of the day they have no duty of care for their cleaners or clients and are just after scamming people.

I have booked three times and three different times I have been told from the office that they will get someone to come and three times no one has come the office tells me they will be in touch and never call me back very frustrating and time wasting
Cancelled 4 times. We were so disappointed with consistent cancellations. BE WARNED!! Be prepared to be disappointed!!!

Firstly I’d like to say read all the LOWEST rating and MOST liked comments. You’ll then get a good idea of this company. Who knows how they’re still in business!
Have had issues from day 1. My cleaner had a lovely personality but no attention to detail. Fitted sheet put on wrong, toilet not cleaned/bin & brush left on floor when mopping, dirty bin bag left on kitchen counter as she left, product left on shower screen and bathroom floor not mopped.
Also my wifi extender was taken out (no idea why, can easily fit a vacuum cord next to it) an...d now it’s unable to be connected again. The wifi extender is now damaged and needs to be replaced (Contacted Officeworks & Internet Provider). Company refuses to compensate without receipt which is fine however no responsibility or compassion from [Names Removed]. The highest you can speak with being the Contact Centre Manager, [Name Removed] will hang up on you and speak with such disregard and disrespect. For it to then be explained as “Having a bad day” by another colleague. Area contact person [Name Removed] is more focused on gaining bookings than dealing with current ones that have complaints. A small issue that could have easily been resolved turned into a week long debate. Not worth your time, money or worry. Wasn’t even worth the clean, excuse for lack of cleaning standards was due to Covid. Pathetic! The staff training isn’t there. Even [Name Removed] agreed and said there have been so many similar complaints. I guess that’s why action wasn’t important to the company as it happens often. Go through Family Clean or other companies that contract cleaners.

Sadly I cannot say one positive thing apart from the ladies on the phone being polite. We were allocated a cleaner for 3 hours to simply vacuum and mop our 4×2 home and clean our 2 bathrooms and a small powder room.
-The eaner arrived with her own products (not what the service advertised and I prefer my cleaning items to be used in my own home).
-We left the house and she confirmed the job was manageable in that time frame.
-When we returned over 3hours later, she was still here and very flustered, full of excuses such as: her lack of fitness...
Don't bother, cleaner was obviously untrained.
The cleaner seemed reliable initially and I had left clear instructions of what was expected, only to realise that he had spent 2 of the 3 hours on a small 1sqm kitchen.
He then attempted to finish up with vacuuming and had to be reminded 3x of the other tasks which were yet to be completed and yet left without vacuuming and mopping the main living area as clearly instructed.
Upon inspecting, it was clear that he had no idea how to clean. The glass in the bathrooms were left dirtier than even before the clean and the sinks were clearly untouched. The tables that I'd asked to be wiped were clearly left dirty. I had to vacuum and mop the house again due to the obvious shoddy job. Will not recommend.
First cleaner never turned up for 4 weeks so they sent another cleaner who was great and she only lasted 2 weeks. They have a lot of staff that just leave. Still waiting to hear about another cleaner but after 5 days of not hearing anything I just canceled
Booked a cleaner to do monthly she cancelled after 2 cleans when I contacted absolute domestic I was told they don’t do monthly cleaning and they provided another cleaner who came once and this time I wanted fortnightly and I received a cancellation of my cleaning on the Monday when I have cleaning done on a Friday.. wouldn’t recommend as you don’t know if the cleaner is coming or not
Extremely Unreliable. Find Another Cleaning Service.
Booked a regular cleaning service for my daughter as she has a disability. Received a text and email saying we would be contacted prior to start day. No contact from cleaner and then on start day received a text to ring Domestic about a change to the service. Rang and got a message saying the phone was unavailable. Received a text and email next business day saying another cleaner would contact us. Instead get a text that afternoon saying our service had been cancelled and to leave a review.
So we are contacting a different cleaning company in the hopes they will be reliable and actually turn up.

I asked for a house cleaner to clean three hours fortnightly. Waited for over a week for Absolute Domestic to find a cleaner. But they didn’t find one since I just got a cancellation notice via email. No phone call. Not very professional!
Worst clean ever
Cleaner did not clean to standard. Failed to do simple tasks like lift items to clean bench and clean bathrooms adequately. Left mid way through clean. Would not recommend cleaning services.
Clean was terrible, customer service worse
First clean they didn’t touch the wet areas as I had specially requested so 3 days later I had to pay for them to come back. It was very ordinary. Third clean, cleaner advised she was leaving and left my bathrooms in a disgusting state. When I text her about it she said ‘Sorry I missed it’. Addressed it with the company (took two emails to get an initial reply), they offered a free clean to which I accepted, and haven’t heard back. I then emailed requesting a refund of monies may be a more suitable way to settle my complaint and still didn’t hear back. Disgusting service.

Do you stay in the house while they clean and do you move everything out the bathrooms etc before they get there?
Hi Tracey, it's entirely up to you how you would like to direct the cleaner to use their time. You can stay home and prepare everything for them to focus solely on cleaning or you can leave them to it during the allocated timeframe. Regards, Absolute Domestics
What is bonus hour?
Yes got the bonus hour.
First visit you get one hour extra free.
Absolute Domestics told me that the "bonus hour" means that you get one hours cleaning you don't have to pay for, eg, have a 3 hour clean but only pay for 2 hours. However, according to AD, the cleaner doesn't get paid for that hour, which is actually illegal. So the cleaner cleans for 3 hours but only gets paid for 2 hours.
