Obvious the cleaner and employer don’t communicate. Cleaner was pleasant and sweet but no experience in professional cleaning and resigned from the company after two cleans. She sent me a text the afternoon of my clean saying the next weeks one would be last..... Absolute contact me The day before clean to say they are working on a replacement....... too late replaced elsewhere and told the other pleasant girl not to bother with the last one. If you want a professional and experienced cleaner this isn’t the place I’d be looking - the cleaner herself said they are hard to get hold of...
Lovely lady , But
The lady was lovely but just very slow, and not able to get a huge amount done in the time allocated. Her work was good but just a bit disorganised.
A bit slow
Our cleaner came in for the first time which needs to be considered however I found her to be quite slow.
She also didn't clean the shower recess floor or wipe down the laundry bench. I told her where the rags were however she didn't use them so I think she may have used other cloths not meant for general house cleaning. She seemed reluctant to ask questions but that could be due to being shy. I appreciated her being sent to us as I really needed a cleaner however for her to have to travel 1.5 hours both ways to do the clean didn't really seem fair on her. I do however understand it's her choice to do that.

Mixed results. Guarantee of questionable use.
I had my apartment cleaned by Absolute Domestics months ago; excellent job!
I booked these same cleaners again when I was moving out, but had to change cleaners when my move-out date was postponed a few days. The substitute cleaners mostly did a good job but missed areas on the tiled floors, windows, window surrounds, and cupboard doors. After I notified the Absolute Domestics area manager these needed to be fixed, one of the cleaners offered to "discuss" these issues with me while expressing no confidence he could fix them.

Not what I expected.
I think the management of the workers needs to be improved. Workers leave and then it is not possible to get the right person at the right time delivering the same or better quality of work. Also, the standard of service delivery between the different workers vary considerably.
Not great service, but OK.
The cleaner was OK, she was a nice enough lady but lacked attention to detail - for example, she would wipe things to tick off she had done them, but they were not clean. Also, the method wasn't great and she did not seem to know which products to use. For example, she would wipe the surfaces of woodwork with a cloth and when asked if she would use polish, she replied she did that afterwards - but she didn't. She spent a whole hour just hoovering, which seems a bit OTT, especially when she does not then have time to finish other tasks. So I gue...ss she lacked the ability to prioritise and make the most of her time. Which meant that when her time was up each week she would rush off and and not put things back where they were - such as chairs moved, hoover left out for us to put away, vases left anywhere.
Office service great
I have been advised that my cleaner is no longer working with you so comments about his work aren't relevant. I am pleased with the attention and service which I've received from your administration.
The clean was carried out by a husband/wife team. The husband did the main cleaning which was acceptable. The wife did the floors and kitchen. Floors were poorly mopped.....nothing was moved, chairs etc were mopped 'around'. This was also the case in the kitchen....on the benches, nothing was moved eg. she wiped around the toaster. I would not recommend or have them return.
I was expected to supply overshoes and gloves - neither of which I keep.
I appreciated how Absolute Domestics was able to provide a cleaner whose services included ironing!
Sandra was alright. Whilst a bit haphazard and unusual in her communications (face to face, quite a few interesting SMSs), her 1h 30m fortnightly cleaning job at my place was easy: Ironing 10 business shirts, then floor cleaning, and not much else really that I had asked her to do. Sometimes in the kitchen she did the few dirty dishes, sometimes not. An accidental computer speakers accident, I had to buy new ones, but that's OK. All good and I wish Sandra all the best!!
Not bad but could be improved!
Cleaners very friendly but some feedback on improvement: on day 1 the cleaner took it upon herself to do work beyond 2 hrs and charge me for 2.5 hrs. I then stressed the most important thing for me re cleaning which was overlooked and had to be subsequently corrected which is fine but this week again not addressed. I think just more care is required and then all will be fine- after all we are contracting out and paying for not having the hassle of cleaning:)
Review of all 3 cleaners
We have had 3 cleaners from you so far. the first started out good but then got vertigo and had a lot of time off and we had to get someone new. The second we had for a few years and was great for the most part but in the last 6+ months became very rushed and cut corners.
The last was the nicest person I think I’ve ever met but had very little cleaning experience at all but had incredible attention to detail .... I was left feeling torn because he would take 4hrs to do a 2hr job and I wanted to lay him more but couldn’t afford it as we had onl...
Not quite up to standard
Was a bit over priced for what was supplied, cleaning wasn’t quite up to a standard you would expect. I doubt cleaners are vetted very well to check their cleaning skills prior to hiring.
Customer service, over the phone, is efficient and friendly.
Our cleaners were average compared to the past cleaner that we have had through Absolute.
There were unwiped surfaces after the clean and when asked if windows could be cleaned, as opposed to vacuuming, I was told that they never did anything outside of the normal duties. Their response was an indication that only the bare minimum would be covered.
I knew that I could voice my concerns but we're moving and I knew it would only be 3 cleans before I cancelled so I never bothered and just accepted it.
They were pleasant people however I wouldn't request them again.
I had 3 different cleaners over 7 weeks. It is clear the staff are not provided with training on how to clean, and I am talking about basic things. One did not know how to mop a floor i. e. The floor was dry straight after it was allegedly washed and when water was used only about half the floor was cleaned. One was dusting with the feather duster and then proceeded to shack the duster so all the dust fell all over the furniture and then wonders why I asked for it to be done again. This same girl was using a bucket to throw water at the shower and bath and the whole bathroom was flooded. Having said that one girl was a lot better. However I do suggest training is provided for some basics skills for all staff.

Cleaners broke our vacuum and didn’t tell us, also clumsy service (destroyed a couple of things around the house - again didn’t tell us); cleaning was ok but taking business elsewhere.
It wasn’t bad
But the cleaner took a long time and didn’t clean everything we wanted her to clean. And some things were also not that clean.
Not really happy
In the beginning good, then floors not cleaned properly, had to ask for dusting to be done, equipment not put away after use.

Do you stay in the house while they clean and do you move everything out the bathrooms etc before they get there?

Hi Tracey, it's entirely up to you how you would like to direct the cleaner to use their time. You can stay home and prepare everything for them to focus solely on cleaning or you can leave them to it during the allocated timeframe. Regards, Absolute Domestics
What is bonus hour?
Absolute Domestics told me that the "bonus hour" means that you get one hours cleaning you don't have to pay for, eg, have a 3 hour clean but only pay for 2 hours. However, according to AD, the cleaner doesn't get paid for that hour, which is actually illegal. So the cleaner cleans for 3 hours but only gets paid for 2 hours.
