Best service I have had from Tradesman for a long time
GREAT Presentation be rep on day of measuring and quoting. GREAT service by the installer when he came & remeasured. DELIVERY on time and installed with no mess. How often do you get a tradesman with drill in 1 hand, dustpan in other. Love my plantation shutters!

Just what I had wanted
We have just completed a very expensive renovation, and chose Accent for supply and installation of the roller blinds in my teenagers bedrooms, as well as a beautiful curtain in our formal lounge room I chose a privacy roller blind with a second blockout blind and they are both perfect. They have kept their rooms so cool over the summer, and being able to see out without people seeing in as great.

Great looking product (plantation shutters) and good service
After a rocky start after the sales consultant didn't turn up I called the office and requested a particular sales person (John) as he was recommended by a family member. He turned up on time and provided a quote on the day. I sought quotes from 3 other companies and none could meet Accents quote. I think I was told about 6-8 weeks waiting time for plantation shutters. After some thought, we paid our 50% deposit and was contacted within about 2 weeks for a check measure. e when he was half an hour away as I hate waiting up to 4 hours for a contractor/sales person to turn up. He was very efficient. The blinds were installed yesterday (which was within 6 weeks of the check measure). I was actually really surprised with the turn around. Anyway, if I had read the reviews on this site earlier I probably wouldn't have considered using Accent and considering my initial experience with the first salesperson who was meant to come it wasn't a great start. However, due to my grand mother recommending them I'm glad I gave them another try because I was happy with the price, the service and so far, the product. The only positive experience? Accent please read.
We ordered some vertical blinds, some roller blinds and also plantation shutters for three large windows during accents 40% off sale. Then I read the reviews on this website........ needless to say after spending nearly 5k I was crapping myself at some of the reviews and was prepared for a bad experience.

Great prices, good service and professional installation
I want to recommend Accent Blinds. First off, I had a huge sized glass door and needed a screen door custom built for me. I had called all over, no one knew how to get a custom screen door built? It was so freaky something so simple, but all the screen doors on the market were smaller for my big doorway. So my brother measured and ordered my door for me at Accent Blinds.

Why is Accent Blinds still allowed to trade. Rude customer service & never fix any issues? Robbers & down right thieves.

The only reason they are still trading is because the building trade is booming. If they were around when times were tuff, they would be long gone.
the worst company i dealt with in my reno. they siliconed the whole thing together , the whole thing fell out after 2 months of opening, had 2 contractors called Cory parsons and Nathan lyons, left silicone also over new carpet, and lied also.

My blinds from accent seemed to have warped. Has anyone else had this problem? Only had them 6 months

My blinds which are roller blinds have all creased at the bottom. Not sure why. There is no point in asking Accent to do anything about it, as they do not have any customer service and they don't care anyway.
I hope they go out of business - they are shonks.
With mine they siliconed the whole thing to the ceiling, base and sides, if they have siliconed yours also instead of bolting them, one side may of disconnected, hence warping may be a result. not to mention all the silicone they left on carpet, and was not fitted right at all. very bad service as they didnt return calls, I had to ring fair trading for advice..

I had 2 faux wood white Venetian blinds installed by Accent Blinds in a bedroom & they smell terrible. even after 4 weeks & constant airing of the room the smell is no better. Has anyone else had this problem? I just can't think what would be causing this smell, it's like rotten eggs or dead animal, not nice at all.
