I am still waiting since the electrician cancelled twice at the last minute with some false excuse. Of course they gave the following week each time. A bad start and I am not sure if I should cancel my appointment next week Monday. I will give a full report after the service.
Not all it seems
When we recieved the brochure claiming Unlimited free LEDs we thought great lets do it. After waiting for 10 mins on the phone we were told that if we had dimmable lights we could A; pay $9.95each to upgrade our globes (we have about 40) or B; hard wire the dimmer switches for $9.95each, so around $400!!
Just so people know, you can just use conventional globes & simply dont use your dimmer switch.
SO MUCH FOR FREE LED's.
Company doesn’t follow through with product.
Had our downlights charged to LEDs electrician did a good job fitting them, but company will not send one LED floodlight which was out of stock at fitting time.
Have phoned, emailed but not reply, not a very reliable firm. Not happy Jan.

Non responsive on after Sales service/Warranty -NOT RECOMENDED
We had around 40 globes replaced approximately half with dimmers last week. The Electrician was courteous until the end when he was rushing it, refused to take his garbage with him or at least put in our bin. He did so after asking me if my hands were broken! He did not test the flash lights fitted. Subsequently I found that two of the flash lights were not working and one of the downlights. Some of them were flickering! My attempts to contact their customer service was really difficult, finally the "customer service" person said that they can ...send some globes in the mail and that if they were to come out to my home, there would be a call out fee. My response was that they have replaced perfectly functioning globes with defective ones and they had a responsibility to rectify. Eventually she said the she would ask the scheduler to call me, still waiting. When I received the invoice, I saw there was a nomination form which says all work done to my satisfaction and that I agree to "For the purpose of creating energy savings certificates in the ESS, this nomination entitles the Accredited Certificate Provider to create and own all energy savings in respect of each of the above activities at the implementation sites listed above, once they have been completed and energy savings have commenced." I was never shown this form, the Electrician asked me to sign confirming work had been completed but at no time showed me this nomination form. My signature appeared electronically on the form! I must say that I am extremely disappointed by their lack of after sales service! I also note in other reviews that their product is obsolete and no replacement globes are available- If this is correct then I will not recommend them. The NSW Government must hold this company to account.
Questions & Answers
Does this offer replace the screw globes in downlights as well. All for $33.00 total?
As long as the electrician has the globes in his van then yes. Our job inside the house did not have screw globes but externally because the electrician had a couple of spotlights in his van he changed ours. They were screw in spotlights.
Most of the 5 Star reviews are written in a similar way... "professional, polite, efficient ". So all of them look like fake reviews - especially when most of all the other reviews are rated at 1 Star.
I too am curious how many of the 5 star reviews are 'one-off' reviewers. No mention of additional costs from them or if the led lights lasted.........
Hi guys. I just came on here to rate the Accredited Power Saver group and thought I would reply to you comment. I saw it when I was researching whether the flyer I had received in my mailbox (in a suburb of Newcastle, NSW) from Accredited Power Saver some time ago was a real thing and not a scam. I decided to try it when I read some of the reviews on this site and also saw a review on Mr Gadget site (https://www.gadgetguy.com.au/free-led-downlight-bulbs-stop-the-energy-rip-off/) I called last week and an electrician came out this morning and replace 22 of my downlights with halogens to LED globes. The brand of globes was Ecomatters MR16, no idea if they are good. Hope so. They were compatible with my existing transformers so I didn't have to pay extra and I didn't have any dimmers either, which can cost additional. But all this was explained to my on the phone before the electrician came out. When the electrcian arrived he did an assessment and said it wouldn't cost more than the $33. Took only 30 minutes. I asked the electrician and he is a subcontractor, so just a local guy. Assuming the lights last for years, I am super happy I called. I am telling my friends and family about the program.
