Very disappointing experience
As a member of Linen Lovers I've ordered online quite a few times without issues.
This time I ordered a cane bedhead and even with a discount it was over $270, so not cheap. The disappointing thing is that I have no idea where it is and its been nearly 4 weeks since I ordered it.
After 2 weeks I sent an email and received a reply to say it was being dispatched that day and it would take 14-18 business days to arrive. They also sent me a text message with a tracking number advising they'd contact me to arrange a date and time for delivery.
...For the first few days the tracking showed nothing. When I checked it today it shows delivery was made 2 days ago. My husband and I were home at the time the tracking says the delivery happened and no card was left. So either its been delivered to the wrong address or the tracking is wrong, because its certainly not here. So I've sent another email asking Adairs to follow up. It really shouldn't be this hard :-(
I've been shopping at Adairs Burwood for many years and have been very happy with the service. In particular I've been looked after by Antonella on numerous occasions and find her advice is always honest and reliable, not to mention her warm and friendly nature. Thank you the great service.
Great rug but more size options would be better!
We purchased a great rug from adairs that I had been looking for for a little while and we got it at a great sale price but when i took it home I found it was too big for our space, unfortunately it did not come in a smaller size which was a shame.
Worst sheets ever
Doesn’t even deserve ONE star! Be warned do not buy the Home Republic linen sheets!!! The are the worst! It's rough to sleep on and it sheds and sheds!!!!! You’re covered in fluff not to mention how much the fine particles of the fluff one’s breathing in overnight! Our mattress top is absolutely covered with the fluff We had to vacuum the stuff off Better quality product can be bought for much less price Extremely disappointed with Adair not a top quality shop if you can stock such inferior quality products!
Great Customer Service - Online Purchase
I have been an Adairs customer for about two years now and ordered many times from them with no hiccoughs at all. I recently purchased my first over-sized item with them through their website and unfortunately their couriers lost my parcel and did not attempt to even contact me. Upon contacting their couriers, it was clear I was not going to get an answer and upon telling the customer service team, they have been checking in with their delivery team and myself daily to provide me a status update. A massive shout out to Bridie on the customer service team for all her help in sorting it out.
Service at Tuggerah Supa Centre
The best adairs store, I love shopping here . Great service, nothing is too difficult, for the staff. They are always very helpful and the stock is displayed well.

Just received the Genoa cream linen cushion and I have to say I'm impressed with it's 'lushness'.
I think the feather fill helps to make it even more appealing - The linen fringing is fabulous.
Get one now before they're gone.
I ordered two kids beds , they were delivered , I had paid for assembly , the deliveryman said he would not do the assembly ..I waited three days two men came back, they assembled the beds , left all the boxes on the floor , wouldn’t help me with them , said they don’t take away the packaging, Styrofoam left underneath the beds , it was so messy.. I’ve had very bad service from them plus a lot of their dimensions are inaccurate in the catalogue.
Extremely Bad Customer Service
My order was made in mid May after being told it was delivered I followed up with Aust post and no delivery was made. I asked for the items to be resent and I’m still waiting. I have emailed and emailed to no reply and it’s impossible to get through on their phone line - they say they are very busy! Yeah with all the complaints! Still waiting for my order it’s appalling service - I’ve bought a lot from adairs in the past but after this experience never again! Wonder if they will repay me?? How long will that take? I think the business must be going under as its so unacceptable to have any other excuse!

We purchased this lovely Pink Cot Combo Sheet Set for my 2 year old Granddaughter. Her favourite colour is Pink which matches her room. The quality of the sheets is great and am happy with the value. We will continue shop at Adair’s.
Bamboo queen size sheets
Purchased a set of bamboo queen size sheets approximately 5 years ago which shredded and was replaced about 3 years ago and now this set is shredding. And adairs wont replace, would expect longer wear, quality just isnt there these days.
Poor product description and service
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and I am a member of their Linen Lover loyalty program. Recently, I purchased some quilted products online. The description on the website stated that it was all cotton, however, on the actual package it was clearly written that the filling was polyester. I would not buy those products if I knew that the description was incorrect. I sent it back without any delays in the very beginning of July. Then, on the next day, I sent back another item from the next order, because it had a mouldy smell. It was also de...livered to them more than 20 days ago. There is still no indication (I just checked my online account) that they are processing any of those two refunds. It is impossible to reach customer service over the phone and I contacted them via email 3 times (on 31/07, 02/08, and 06/08), but didn’t receive any reply. It feels pretty rude and disrespectful.
Terrible Customer Service
Ordered a bed 9 weeks ago, was told it will be here in 27 days, Called at 30 days to be advised it was on the way and I will be contacted from the delivery provider soon. No call, so rang the next week, again advised it was on the way, this was repeated every week. At week 9 I demanded some answers, team then advised product was lost, and they no longer sell this product, If I did not continually call them I would be still waiting for my product and it was never going to come. So after waiting near 3 months, I have nothing and have to find another bed. Will never purchase from this company again, their service is a disgrace.
I had my Boheme blue jacquard rug delivered this morning. I’m very happy with it. What I really wanted to review was the attitude of the delivery contractor (Laughlin). He was a very professional and pleasant young man. He was punctual, pleasant, we’ll groomed and helpful. He’s a credit to you. Make sure you don’t lose him Adair’s.
Terrible online delivery experience
Online delivery systems are terrible. Had an item that was out of stock that held up delivery but no one rang or emailed to advise this. I had to call, 2 weeks after ordering and was only then advised why the delay had occurred. I specifically asked for someone to call me back and confirm compensation for the fact that their delivery timeframes of 7-9 days had not been met. I was advised that those timeframes apply only after the items is dispatched. It does not say this on the website. The website clearly gives the indication that "delivery ti...mes are 7-9 days". The person on the phone said they would check with their manager and call me back. No call back, items delivered over 3 weeks after ordering. The overall communication processes and order filling systems do no work and need a serious overhaul.
Worst customer service ever, and terrible product quality
I purchased a quilt cover here and when I opened the packaging noticed it was torn near the buttons where you close it. First of all, I already had to wait for this item to be sent to me as it wasn’t available in store. So I went to return it at TTP. They didn’t have the right size and I’d already waited so long for the quilt cover to arrive by post, I decided to drive to gepps cross to exchange. Once I got it home I checked everything there was no tear so put it in the wash (always wash sheets before putting on my bed). When I went to put them...on my quilt/bed, have come to realise the quilt cover is much bigger than the queen size that it states! By this time I’m so angry as I’ve wasted so much time and energy waiting/exchanging washing etc. I mean this was an expensive quilt cover, $100 (and that was the sale price). I tried to call Adair’s to rectify the situation but nobody answers. Tried numerous times with the same result. Decided to email, didn’t receive a response until 2 weeks later telling me I have to bring the quilt cover in to her measured to determine if it was faulty. At this point I have washed my hands of the situation and said goodbye to the quilt cover and my $100. This is a joke of a store, I will never return to Adair’s. They masquerade as a quality bedding shop when the quality is no better than Big W. Customer service at TTP was awful too. Rude sales girls who seem like they can’t really be bothered.
Very poor quality
So disappointed with this purchase. We bought cushions that are already falling apart. Washing this quilt has not only clogged up our washing machine but is constantly leaving chunks of threads all over the doona and carpet. Have washed it twice and just keeps getting worse. Your prices are really up there but the products don't reflect them. We spent about $400 or more in your store but know we are just left extremely disappointed.
FLOUTING THE LAW
I purchased pillows, underlay and heated blanket and paid approx $250. When delivered, I viewed the inferior quality items through the packaging without opening. I took them back to Parkdale store. They refused to refund because the items were bedding. There was no exclusion on website when purchased. They helped us seal the boxes to send “replypaid” to Scoresby warehouse.
Six weeks later, Adair’s Scoresby refuse to refund because they were “bedding” and because of “reply Paid” I have no proof of return. I have now lost my money after being supplied rubbish items knowing I had no legal right to return. I will NEVER deal with these lying cheats again
Rug still outstanding from March order
I often order from Adair’s and have never had any problems. I ordered many items In March in which were delivered quickly and great quality. However I am very disappointed that I have still not received a large rug. I expected a delay given I purchased during a sale but this length of time is appalling. No response from email enquiries. Disappointing.

Why is your customer service so terrible? Why don't you just answer customer questions/concerns and respond in a timely manner? It's easy! Try it.
I no longer have a receipt. However that should not matter given your good reputation. I have a queen size bed sheet. Washed to instructions. It has shrunk and no longer fits on the bed. Could you send a replacement, and I will return the ill-fitting one. Regards Samantha.
Hi I am from Townsville Nth QLD i am a member of linen lovers club, i am contacting because i was very disappointed with the last catalogue that was sent out. Upon going to my regular shop at Castletown to purchase several items from the catalogue were not available or had not been received the staff are great at this store, but were unable to help I think it was Very poor business to advertise products and then not have them for the customer to purchase. Very disappointing Adairs
