Alright for Soup Blending but not much more
Having used the Adesso Stick Blender for blending soup a couple of times, I've found it to be a functional tool, although I believe there's room for improvement in terms of efficiency.During my usage, I encountered no major issues. However, there's a sense that it could perform more efficiently, especially when compared to other blenders in the market.
The design and build seem decent, but my experience doesn't guarantee the durability or safety of the product. It's worth noting that my primary use has been for soup blending, and I have not ... Read more
tested it extensively with other tasks. In terms of the price, the Adesso Stick Blender is relatively affordable, which might be attractive for those on a budget. However, considering its performance limitations, I would recommend exploring alternative options if seeking a more efficient and reliable blending experience.Value for MoneyBuild QualityEase of UseCleaning & Maintenance

It broke within seconds of first use
I used it fresh out of the box. Made loud sparking noise after twenty seconds and stopped working. Strong smell of burned plastic. I think the internal motor caught fire. Show detailsAnge Sydney, NSW 5 posts

I wouldn't rate the stick blender and would not recommend purchasing
Stick blender purchased from Woolworths on the 26 July 2021, on its first use blending cooked cauliflower the item sparked and stopped working. I would not feel safe buying the stick blender again. Show detailsBell Southwest, VIC 20 posts

Poorly made
On first use the unit emmitted an electrical smell after only a few seconds of use. I was trying to froth egg whites when i noticed small black specks in the foam after 30 seconds. The metal head and stem of the unit was hot and it was actually burning the still runny egg whites on the neck of the blade. Show detailsDanielle O. Perth, WA 2 posts

Ideal for soups
I bought this blender as I was keen to start making soups, I was sceptical that a stick blender would be enough but this blender had been perfect! It will blitz through any veggies and washes easily too. I don’t really have a need for the beaker as I just use it straight in the pot but for fruits and smoothies I’m sure it would be great. Apparently the safety guard is optional on this
My last Adesso Stick Blender barely lasted its 12 month guarantee and when it died, it was already in a fairly poor state as the little plastic shield bit that attaches stick to handle (which serves as a kind of safety feature) had come loose and sort of "hung there". Reattaching it each time was an exercise in lining things up and hoping for the best. So then it died in the middle of making dinner and the only option was to go back to Woolworths and buy another just like it. I have had this one maybe three weeks and this attachment is now coming loose. One job. Seriously. Show detailsJones LAVERTON NORTH

Made in China crap
I used it for a few fruit smoothies and milkshakes but literally 20 days after I got it the motor burnt out. I paid a dollar a day for this piece of junk.Show details

Adesso Stick Blender
Perfect for me. Lightweight and simple. Easy to use, easy to clean and doesn't take much cupboard space. Inexpensive at around $25, for something I thought I'd rarely use, but now gets used several times a week.Braun MultiQuick 9Braun Multiquick 7Russell Hobbs Desire Matte Black RHSM5BLKBamix MonoSmeg Hand BlenderBamix GastroKambrook Mix & Store KSB70WHTKitchenAid Cordless Variable Speed KHBBV
