I guys, i dont normally write reviews as i am busy but i thought that it was worth writing one for Agill as i had a bad experience. Agill gave me a cheap quote to move one bed apartment from Brisbane to Melbourne in Jan 2021. They arrived 2 days early to deliver the furniture so there was no one at the property to accept the furniture necessitating 2 days of storage. Unfortunately, Agill stopped answering my emails and would only answer the phone if i hid my number. They were really reluctant to tell me where they had stored my furniture and it...was 5 days before i could pick it up which was really strange. When i got my furniture most of it was damaged, washing machine had been dropped and was broken, lamps destroyed despite careful packing. I had to hire another removal company to pick up my furniture from the lockup and deliver it to my new home. I then got a call 2 weeks later asking if i had picked up an additional sofa from the lock up, clearly they have lost another person's furniture along the way. Im not sure they will ever see it again. Factoring in hiring a second removalist and the damage to property the cost has been higher than the most expensive quote. Communication is a real issue for this company. They are so hard to get hold of once they have your money. I had so many emails and phone calls about other peoples moves and couldnt get through to them when i needed them. As much as i dont want to give bad feedback I had a terrible time with Agill and i couldnt recommend their services to anyone.
Scammed me paid deposit booked and than they ignored my calls avoid!!!
Paid deposit for furniture moved from Coffs Harbour to Gold coast area booked in than on day no show no excuse said I would get a refund but did not refund me scammers avoid had no furniture for a month now with 2 kids !

I requested a quote from these guys on 30-7-2021. As the move involved a home office setup, stated I needed to have delivery by 19-8-2021. They assured me (over the phone) that they could have it earlier. Pickup was supposed to be 13th August. After being hounded and paying the $400 deposit on Friday afternoon to secure an even better rate (alarm bells should have started then!), I requested the delivery date be confirmed via email. The response was…’we will pickup on the 13th August.” No reply on delivery date. I resent the email requesting...delivery confirmation as it was imperative it arrived on time.. The reply just after 3pm was…”We will update you”. I had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right. On Monday (their next business day) morning at 8am, I sent an email explaining circumstances had changed and I no longer required their services. I asked for a full refund of the $400. Today, Wednesday 4-8-2021 I received an email with an extract of their T&C’s and a line saying, “so we will, refund you 50%”. Now I know their T&C’s stated that cancellation for a full refund must be done 14 or more days prior. However, my booking was made on the Friday afternoon, exactly 14 days prior to pickup. I suggested they perhaps keep a 10% admin fee, which I thought was very fair. They just kept emailing their T&C’s. Nothing else, no explanations. Just the T&C’s. After reading numerous reviews this morning, (I should have done it before booking) I realised that this company is one of the shonkiest out there. Funny thing is, after speaking to my son on the phone this morning, he mentioned his girlfriend’s furniture that was supposed to be picked up tomorrow, has been delayed for a week. (Not due to COVID-19) The removal company turned out to be none other than AGILL. The quoted price was around 20% less than others. So they paid a deposit weeks ago and were promised the pickup date no later than the 5th August. Goes to show I need to communicate more with my kids! My advice to anyone looking for a removalist, is to AVOID this company like the plague. Whilst I am out of pocket by only $200, it is their principles of how they run their business that left a sour taste in my mouth. My business, would be out of business if I treated customers the way AGILL do. Update, 5-8-2021. I received an email this morning from AGILL (see photo). Using some blackmail, they have offered another $150 on top of the $200 they have already refunded if I removed this review!
We chose this company as they seemed very professional and organised. After they obtained our business that's when problems started. After paying half the cost as deposit, the price went up. If we cancelled we loose deposit. Had also to pay final payment before delivery. Very hard to contact after you have paid money. Pick up was supposed to be in the morning, had numerous phone calls from them putting pick up time later and later, they wanted to load at approximately 10.00 pm. We said no come back in the morning. Which they did at 6.00 am. S...o a days delay to begin with. We were moving to Queensland. They were so slow in packing, eventually finished and they drove away at 3.00 pm. Furniture was cleaned before it was packed. Furniture arrived and I asked did they drive through the Simpson Desert as everything was covered in a red dust. One TV broken, Desk had like a fist whole in the back, Stainless steel Fridge scratches all over it, Bed base all scratched. Velvet Arm chair red dust from blanket that they covered it with. When I complained they said the TV was supposed to be packed in original packing and box. They advised that there trucks are clean, my response was check the blankets goods were wrapped in. They gave us a $50 discount for being late. Very unprofessional and have you over a barrel because if you don't pay final payment you don't get your furniture. Throughout the packing the office kept ringing them to see if they could pick up another house on the way. We had a full truck. But that's what they do promise you they will be there one day but they have booked too many customers in for that one truck. So they are late for everyone.

We moved a two bedroom apartment from Sydney to Melbourne. They charged us $2000, $500 lower than the other company. In the beginning they kept phoning us to book them and would beat every other price quote. We should have been suspicious then. They told us they would come on Friday and would deliver on Saturday. On Tuesday, they called us that they would come on Sunday and deliver on Monday. On Thursday evening, they told us they were coming tomorrow (Friday)! We should have cancelled them there and then. My husband and I stayed up all night t...o complete the entire packing. On Friday, when they truck arrived, they did not have an inventory list of items which we had sent to them a month before. The driver made a list there and then. Finally they announced they don't have enough space to carry all of our luggage since there was already two people's houses' stuff in the truck. They fitted the TV inside our car and we had to leave behind a cabinet, pots, side tables and our full toilet and kitchen accessories behind since they had run out of space even though it was a massive truck. The driver then told us it was no way our stuff would be delivered on Saturday. Nobody from the company answered our phones at all even though we were calling them during business hours. We started calling them on Saturday first thing in the morning and they did not respond to any of our call. During mid-day they simply sent a text saying it would be delivered on Tuesday without giving any reason. We waited until Tuesday and they sent us a text saying it would be delivered on Wednesday. On Wednesday they sent us another text saying it would be delivered on Thursday. They have taken the full payment and have refused all our calls. They simply send us one-line texts and have made zero efforts to apologise. I am completely scared of the state in which the furniture would be delivered based on the reviews others have left of this company. I have attached the photo of my TV which we had to carry in our car since they ran out of space. Update: After this review, they delivered the items immediately. They started their truck from Sydney after this review. The truck arrived in Melbourne. Some of our stuff was wet, the mattress was very wet and dirty and the mattress protector was off. The bed frame was missing its side frames which connect the head board and foot board. They stored our things in a warehouse where it's likely our things got misplaced. Our bed is completely useless now. We have asked and searched everywhere for this replacement part but it is not available. I would highly recommend not to use these guys for moving. We had to buy another bed suite just because of these guys so we could move into our house since we had been living for a week in hotels due to these guys incompetence about fixing dates. Update to the update: It has been now 15 days since they said they would re-deliver the missing bed sides in the next run. However, they have failed to deliver them after repeated emails. They only want us to remove this review. The bed is completely useless with the matching side tables and we cannot even sell the parts or get the missing parts separately. I have no option but to report them to the ACCC

Update: finally had my property delivered yesterday after fair trading got involved. Owner of company [Name Removed] did not help and let the two other men do all the work. You gentleman on his first day walked off due to [Name Removed] not helping. Police needed to attend due to [Name Removed] behaviours. [Irrelevant Content Removed]. All these good reviews are FAKE!!!
Booked agill for a removal on the 14th of may they didn’t show up. Kept delaying their arrival, finally showing up at 7pm the next night. I had already left the city and my lo...vely neighbours unlocked the house for them to remove. Their truck was already quite full and then couldn’t not fit all of my stuff. Agill transport is now withholding my items and not delivering what they managed to fit in. I have tried to reason with them, asking them to send me an invoice for what they have got to deliver and I would arrange another company to collect the rest of my belongings as they are not available until June! Absolutely disgusting service, telling me that my child and myself need to continue to sleep on the floor. Won’t send revised invoice for items to be delivered. Have made complaints to fair trading and qcat! I am really hoping when I do get my stuff they are in good condition still and no damage done!

Once they took my stuff onto their truck,
They just unloading my stuff in the same city instead heading to my address. left my stuff in 3 different storages, then repeat this again and again on other customers, Keep picking up other businesses, keep unloading into the same city storage, keep subcontract to other house Removal companies! My stuff had been ending into numerous transport companies. This’s why everybody’s stuff has been delayed.
I have checked their ABN number, which just registered in 2019, not like their Webside saying sinc...e 2012! Worst in Australia you could ever find! Disgusting peoples in the office! Lies cover lies, won’t listen to phone calls, usually take a day to reply to the text message. Most of my stuffs got muds on it, chairs were broken, tables were broken, kitchen stuff were all damaged, my 3 bags of clothes went missing, my furniture went missing, my arts went missing, there are numerous stuff went missing ........my Victoria to Queensland furniture transport took them nearly 1 and a half months to get back to me! It took them 3 hours to upload my belongings, then 1 and a half months for my belongings to get back to me!! If I knew this’s their tricks to their customers. I would rather have done it by myself. It’s a painful experience! It’s a life time regret! It’s unbelievably disgusting service! It’s a very hurtful hopeless situation you could ever been with them! Should Never believe them! They will hook you up with cheapest quote then chop you up with sharpest knife!
Worst Removal Company in the world
Every piece of furniture was damaged, covered in mud and many boxes of kitchen items such as glasses and dinner pates were smashed.
They have lost 5 of my boxes, all with personal items such as photo albums and wedding photos that they have lost
I had a cream 4 seater lounge with a another 2 seater lounge that is totally ruined. Covered in mould from getting wet and had muddy foot prints over the arm chairs
My furniture was supposed to be stored in Townsville, but it wasn't, they kept delaying delivering for 2 weeks.

Never use this company the administration is awful.
The office told me several times about delivery all incorrect, when delivery did arrive its was weeks late and due to storage provided smelt or had mould also damage, the poor drivers I feel for they have no idea why delivery are late of shipped in parts and to add insult to injury I was charged additional cost before delivery.
Bad communication through out never showed up kept changing dates
They kept changing dates for collection of our furniture of tiny 2 bedroomed until it got rained because the lease had ended
1..Contacted them months ago for this removal date. A few days before the date..they called asking to change dates and delay with 3 days. WE refused because our lease was ending on the day we had agreed with them
2...My partner came from ACT to help me pack my stuff in QLD while waiting for them. We had to call them ourselves because they did not bother calling to tell us they had changed dates which we did not agree to....
Scammers . Be aware and spread the news .
On the day of moving there truck had issues and drivers requesting to change time waited whole day and still not heard anything from them .
Took the confirmation bond money and they won't return it .

I moved from sunshine coast to Sydney last week with agill transport.
and it was about 2 bedroom house size of moving, they delayed from beginning to end.
1. They didn't show up on the day we move without any mention, and we called more than 10 times did not respond. Finally called me back after 5pm, and they said driver is late so we'll pick up tomorrow morning. So i had to cancel hotel reservation which is not refundable. (They discounted half price of hotel expense.)
2. They said come to pick up 10am to noon, showed up 5pm.
3.They called ...me to drop my delivery 7pm to 10 pm, and did not show up and call me to coming up next day 6am. (Seriously???? 10pm delivery?????) 4.They finally showed up 6.30am, there were scratches on most of furniture and microwave was broken.
We had our 3 bedroom unit moved from emerald to Maryborough qld they said be here on the the 10th of April then said cant make it be there Monday no show no contract then we ring office saying they said Wednesday be there definitely never showed up then Thursday morning, they decided to show loaded the truck then tried charging us extra for 4 cubie metres over they was going to take our stuff to storage without telling us we said no its been paid so they dropped it off this morning. Worst company ever do not even bother going to this company ever find a different one they will not contract you at all.
I moved from interstate. The truck arrived very late in the day 6.30pm and worked till late after driving from Townsville. Items damaged on loading. Then during the move I asked for an invoice so I could pay numerous times with no response until the day before delivery after waiting 3 weeks for the invoice. They then refused to delivery as the invoice wasn’t paid! Not to mention being charged an extra 1k for 6m3 after my wife checked with the driver that we were within our limits. Then I tried also to discuss with them that no companies can pay...instantly but the customer service just didn’t care. My stuff still hasn’t arrived but I am very scared what it will be like. I will update this review when I receive it. I like others drastically warn anyone thinking of Agill not to use them! There business model is to come in cheap then over charge for extras. Don’t use them!! - Update, my load arrived with much damage (about 10K). Lounge suite and other items were soaked in water and covered in rust and mold. My expensive and relatively new french door fridge was smashed and not working. I have no words to describe how bad this company is.

I moved a one-bedroom house from Brisbane to Cairns and, apart from a nice phone call to get my business, every other aspect of dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. Terrible communication, with phones often not being answered, infuriating, incompetent delays and when you do complain the people on the other end of the phone blame you for the problems (eg. "you chose to go with a backloading company"). They are not cheap - they end up costing you in delays and changed plans. DON'T DO IT.
Also note: when you look closely at many of the 5 star reviews on this site, they all are making the same grammatical errors. That's how dodgy I believe this company to be.
