What a pile of rubbish your lawn mowers are total rubbish useless only good for paper weights
Buy a lawn mower happy to take your money when it stops working while being under warranty they turn offer no help except for highlighting the fact that sending the mower back at my expense become argumentative so warning don't waste your money on the machinery or the company.
Beware Edison Online
I purchased an electric golf buggy which broke after a few uses. I contacted the company and before I could explain the circumstances of what happened, I was told it was operator error. Luckily I paid through PayPal and so far have got most of my money back, except for the cost of the postage back to the supplier (a requirement by PayPal before I could get a refund). If you want to deal with these disreputable people, make sure you use PayPal, at least you will stand a chance of getting your money back after your item breaks. And trust me, it w...ill break, because the quality of goods sold by these people appears substandard. I intend to pursue them further through Fair Trading NSW and any other organisation possible. I contacted EBay, but they refused to take any action against Edisons. Perhaps the commissions earned on sales is too important for EBay to do anything.
brought a water pump parts didnt work, then they replaced - took a week.
we fixed the part that was broken ourselves and then the pump blew up a week later. Absolutely appauling customer service!!! Rude and non cooperative even with PAYPAL and EBAY helping. DIDGY business run while you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont Buy Anything From Edisons - Mytopia- No Honour
I recently brought a GenPower inverter generator, have used it 3 times and the battery is still dead and wont recharge therefore the thing wont start by key or remote! Contacted their customer service and spoke to Matthew who said it would not be covered under their warranty. The unit is 10weeks old, I have used it 3 times in this period so everything is still like brand new but the battery is only reading 10.3volts. Beware this mob install dead batteries in their goods and wont honour or send a replacement> it will be an additional cost to you!
Beware of this company!
I bought an electric golf buggy which turned out to be a big mistake. The buggy broke within the first few uses due to being too flimsy. When I brought this to the attention of the customer service and technical people they suggested it was my fault, i.e my golf bag was too heavy, my golf course too rough, my golf bag too big! I could have returned the buggy (at my expense) to their warehouse for assessment by their "trained technicians", but I risked them keeping the buggy and demanding a service fee in addition to the money already wasted bas...ed on their return policy as part of their restrictive 12 month warranty, so I kept the useless thing and am now $400 out of pocket. I see they are now advertising the same thing for nearly $600! Beware these rogues. I bought from MyTopia on EBay, but their technical people's email was from AGR Machinery, so all part of the same group. Don't be fooled by their polite customer service people in their offshore (Philippines) CS centre.
Should be negative stars.
This comany (mills international trading) are untrustworthy fraudulent and very arrogant. Will not honour their "warranty" even when the problem is clearly theirs l.
Case in point!!!!!!!
Chainsax SX82 24" loose chain
Straight out of the box, the chain was tensioned to almost the maximum amount, as I wasn't sure how much slack to leave. Within a few minutes, I was using it on the tightest tension possible and there was around 1" of play in the chain. AGR/Edisons continues to believe the chain is worn and that I need to spend more money buying another chain. What for? when it will most likely happen again.
Have lodged a complaint with Consumer affairs now to return my product for a full refund, after they rejected an offer from me to send out a new chain for free.
Edisons Sales and Service
I have purchased a Chainsaw and a Log Splitter from Edisons and the staff are without doubt the best at customer service that I have seen in a long time. I had a minor problem with the chainsaw and I contacted the company to let them know about the fault and was going to repair it at my own expense as it was a simple matter of a few dollars, and to my amazement I received the part in the mail, this would be something that other companies would ignore or fail to action. Nothing is to big or to small for assistance.
This would have to be the best company for assistants, that includes emails and telephone. Thank you for all your assistance and help and I wish the staff the very best for the future.
purchased the above through ebay. received product, part missing. Rang them. Want photograph of product even though they had manuals . Sent message through ebay. Everytime I try to ring either number it goes to a recorded message stating outage and to email them. Emailed them and it bounced back. Also sending messages they have been ringing me - I have sent them my number and no calls received. Never again.
Item failed and warranty not honored
I purchased a post hold Auger from Edisons which also go by the names Mills International Trading and AGR Machinery.
I used the auger to drill approx 20 holes in soft soil at which point the gearbox failed. I didn't want to void my warranty so did not open it up and attempt any repair, instead I sent back to them in line with their warranty terms. Now they are claiming that the auger failed due to 'misuse' and are asking me for $185 to repair it plus $70 to send it back to me!! They hold the cards as they have the item in their warehouse. I ha...
Rubbish cheap Chinese unreliable products

Now my log splitter is nothing but trouble ...
You have NOT heard my question.

Welder MIG MAG MMA, 195 Amp MIG-195is
Item Number WLDMIGROSB195
This item was purchased through PAY PAL. If you can't answer my question then I WILL put in a complaint to PAY PAL.
What size spools can be fitted to this welder.
Can different size spools be fitted.
If so, then how. ...
Generator didn't work from new, after a lot of drama they asked to return it, then nothing. Gave up trying to ring. Also trading as Edisons.
Chinese Chainsaws From Hell!!!
76 cc Saw arrives in a box that doesn't identify the model saw it supposed to be, the box shrouded by a bigger blank box containing the long 24inch bar. Spark plug suggests this machine has already been fired up or tested and the marks underneath suggests it may be a returned product passed onto me. Out of the box, 20-1 unleaded and Stihl oil it starts straight up and monsters it's way through a couple of 14 inch log I cut in half. I thought wow and I put it in my wagon and the next day had this super strong petrol smell. Checked it and could s...ee the red Stihl 2 stroke oil all over the bottom of it and on the floor of my wagon. I wiped it and yep it's fuel alright straight from the bung. Looked at the cap and bung and discovered large jagged edges out of the threads of the bung rough plastic edges inside as well where everything joins so I empty the fuel tank to be safe. Upon taking it out for use it got about half way through a log and it started to overfuel and choke up and wouldn't restart. These saws are advertised as easy to start. Don't you believe it. I pulled and pulled as much I could as I have a heart complaint and I could hear and feel the starter chattering and slipping obviously stripping something internally. I eventually got it started and leaned out the mixture a little. I revved it a little to see if it was going okay and then notice great blobs of oil dripping from it. What a piece of crap. Save up your money and buy a Husky or a Stihl. Yes they are ten times the price but they are ten times the tool too and ten times less the heartache and trouble, fights with your family over crap that shouldn't matter in your life. This is my 3rd purchase from AGR Machinery Edisons and all has ended in failure. Don't be fooled by them super low prices and claims to fame about large capacity power and reliability. People on here speak the truth. Just watch some youtube videos about comparisons of this cheap Chinasaw rubbish, disappointment bad moods and unhappiness. Get a real saw that will make cutting wood a pleasure not an unhappy chore from hell.
Chainsaw, don't buy cheap crap from these guys now known as Edison's (aka agr machinery)
Purchased a chainsaw from these people, lasted 2 tanks of fuel before the head bolts snapped out, informed agr (now called Edison's) they sent me 2 new head bolts a week later. Same issue again after a few tanks of fuel this time it stripped out the crankcase holes. Could not email them as after one warranty request they "block" so I could not make a second warranty claim on an item less than a month old. Owner has become very rich from ripping people off. Avoid!
"Can't live with this rubbish" EDISON JETUSA 500 pressure cleaner
This unit was advertised to have a max pressure of 3500psi a 2.2kw motor and a working pressure of 2150psi, For 10 years I had An Echo Aussi pressure cleaner, at 2100 psi with 2.1kw motor this thing would knock you off your feet if not ready for the blast, this 3500 psi unit with 2.2kw would not blow the top of a rice custard, it had no pressure to speak of. certainly not what I was expecting.
False advertising at it's best, allot like IKEA another one of Ebay's sellers."Beware",
My friend loaned me a piddling little Karcher a 1700W unit and it is a better unit if you like Karcher.
They took it back at their cost. My inconvenience.
Don't Waste Your Money
I purchased a submersible pump it only lasted three weeks.
I had to pay to send it back.
Any inquiries are directed to offshore customer service you may not speak to anyone on the ground in Australia.
They keep sending emails back and forth.
All I want is a faulty pump replaced nothing happening. We will get back to you in (get this 8 working days).
Can I write foul words in this forum? Poor /slack/ cannot recommend.
Agr or eddisons I wonder what other names this mob go under.
Do not buy from this company!
Absolute crap. Beware, no customer service at all.
Turned new generator on for power on Monday 20/4/15, due to power cuts from storms in Newcastle & NOTHING!!! Rang company & they said, "too bad, out of warranty."
Products sold are false advertising!
I purchased a 3700W Inverter Generator which I brought to run a 2000W brand new Ryobi Air Compressor.. the generator didn't even have the power to start it, it even struggled with a dyson blow heater.... this item is so under powered for what it was advertised for (on both eBay & their own website). This was the worst company to deal with. They are happy to sell the product, but when dealing with any questions you will need to get a call back, a week later after I call daily, people will not assist. This company & the items they sell are a piece of crap for the money. Avoid this company at all costs.! Cheers.
Terrible service and rude
AGR are a terrible company to deal with . It took me 12months to get my money back on a brand new product that was faulty from day one , and a visit to dept of fair trading to encourage them to finalise payment , As well eBay are not much better for continually letting them trade on there site as this happened to me 2 years ago and is still going on ,I also encourage people to stay away from AGR and publiclly shame them.
I've purchased 3 products from AGR Machinery in the last 12 months. 2 water pumps and a chainsaw. The pumps do a reasonable amount of work and both haven't missed a beat.
The 2nd pump I bought, though, arrived with a ruptured fuel line. When I contacted AGR, I copped attitude from a FEMALE contact that forced me to fix the pump myself. Their return policy for someone (like me) who lives remote is way to hard to implement so beware if you live remote.
The chainsaw albeit had plenty of power but has fallen apart after 6 months. I had one part replaced and now I need another.
I do believe, based on my experience, that you could do a lot worse than deal with this mob but personally, I wont buy from them again.
I decided to look into buying a wood chipper .Locally in WA a decent heavy duty model will cost around $3,000 plus . I liked the look of the Michigan 1500e model on the AGR website, the video on U-tube looked convincing ,but i was interested as to why it is half the price of anything else with a similar rating. I noticed AGR have a very limited range of spare parts available, so set about finding a website for the manufacturer. Nothing any where on the internet about Michigan machinery .Now i am deeply suspicious .So i ring AGR and ask to sp...eak to someone who deals with repairs and parts for Michigan products . The girl on the phone is very evasive about all my enquieries about the product but finally admits that they are made in China and will not give me a website or any way of contacting the factory to view a spare parts catalougue. By now i am convinced i am dealing with some sort of scam. I tell the girl that there is no way i would consider buying anything from them without proof of spare parts availability . She says she can e- mail me the information i require . She didn't . so the next thing i google is '' AGR machinery problems " . surprise, surprise practically everyone who has bought from them has found their products to be rubbish and their customer service non existent . just goes to show it pays to do your research . Lucky escape!
Wait 3 months for a broke pressure washer only to be sent a second hand part .
The gun on a $800 pressure washer broke after three times use , then had to wait three months as they don't stovk parts only to be sent a second hand used one .
Mariecris / Michael. Further to this case, I would like to report the following outcome.
I had the device / generator investigated by a qualified repairer. They found the carburettor had a blocked jet but more concerning was that the fuel bowl had its O ring/gasket completely missing, causing the major fuel leak referred to. I have had it repaired at my own cost. Extremely disappointing given this was a brand new item.
• This company purports to be local which is a complete fabrication..
• I gave a detailed description of a major fuel le...
Paid for a Generator through ebay and PayPal on 8/1. It arrived 8 days later but was the wrong model. I called them immediately, took photos and emailed these to them to confirm the issue. They organised a courier to pick the item up and return it. The courier came 5 days later on 21/1. Then nothing. The item had to be assessed by their technicians before they would do anything further. Finally I raised a complaint with paypal as at the end of Jan no generator and they still had my money. Also left honest feedback on eBay. On 4/2 I receive an e...mail from AGR offering to send me a replacement (the correct model) but only if I remove my negative feedback from ebay. Unlawful to say the least but just highlights the appalling customer service and ethics of this business. Still have no generator and they have my money a month later. Can't say much for paypal buyer protection either.
Questions & Answers
Hi do you sell automatic gate opener
Thank you Gayle Smith
I mistakenly bought a Rossi 195es mig/arc welder from Edisons. Stick works but mig is dead as a dodo. No response as expected from Edisons support or whoever they really are so im going to have a go at fixing it myself. I suspect it may be the DPDT switch on front panel to switch between mig and stick but not sure. Can anyone point me in the right direction for fault finding please? Checked and dbl checked all connections terminals etc with covers off. surprised that it was all nice and tight. Mig wire feeds fine. Gas is heard at gun. Wire is .9mm and from Bunnings. Not flux core but copper coated. Thanks
My question is about drain master one 389$ and the other is 529$ whats the difference between them and any of them is auto feed?
Havn't got a clue i havnt ever purchased one sorry
