Great quality, awesome service
The software is easy to use, ordering is simple and the customer service was excellent. They kept me updated on the progress of my order, it was printed and delivered within 5 business days, very impressed. It was a bit more expensive than other sites/stores, but the quality speaks for itself. The album looks incredible and will last for many years. I went with the HD photos, and the detail and colors were perfect. They had a promotion going at the time (30% off) which definitely sealed the deal. Would recommend to anyone, already planning my next one. Plus they gave me a 15% discount voucher towards my next order. Good aussie company.

Great print quality
This was my first purchase from Albumworks and I was very impressed. Quality was my number one priority after a series of disappointments with other vendors and the Albumworks HD album lived up to the marketing blurb. The time from order to delivery was very good too - 5 days from order to delivery in Nhulunbuy.
High definition products are brilliant
I have made numerous products - albums, calendars, a poster - all in HD and I've never been disappointed. The print quality of my photos is excellent. Customer service has always been good eg. when one of my books was defective it was immediately replaced.
I find the RRP of the products rather high but the continual special offers and the rewards program make them quite affordable. I have recommended this company to many friends
Very happy customer
I am just completing my 17th book. I have never had a problem with the quality or service. One of my books last year was for a gift & I had a dead line to get it in with a discount but my mother passed away and I didn't get it in on time. I emailed customer service and explained the situation so they put it through with the discount, which was a considerable amount and I received it very quickly.
I have used this company on at least 6 previous occasions and in each case the service has been excellent. On my last order I was told on 28 April that delivery would be in 3-4 days. Albumworks then advised that the book had been despatched on 5 May. A week later no delivery and Albumworks advised that I should have been aware that delivery might take 10 days! The tracking record shows that the article has been with Australia Post since 5 May and Albumworks seem to not care.
I will NEVER use this company again.
January 28th 2018 Update: Don...'t use their framing service Albumworks had a special on for framing and needing a photo framed for a competition I thought I would use them. I was very disappointed. There was no proper mounting cable attached only some sort of cheap metal hook attached to the top. The photo was badly aligned in the mount and was about 1 mm out vertically and horizontally. I wrote to them about the mount and received a fairly non helpful reply. I didn't raise the alignment issue as I couldn't be bothered. Couldn't use the photo and it was a waste of money and time.

Good product, terrible service
I ordered a photobook and had to place a second order for my dust jacket (first time user, not realising that the first page design was a dust jacket as this is not stated on the program or in the order process). Orders placed 12 hours apart. I received my "photo book" to find that it was a canvas print and not even one of my photos. Called them and was promised the world, photo book to be reprinted and rushed to me before Christmas, and they told me the dust jacket had been printed and would make it by Christmas as well. They also could not te...ll me the whereabouts of my original photo book. Crazy to think that someone is sitting at home going through my partner's war memories.. The photo book made it just in time, but no dust jacket. Called again and was told by another person that my dust jacket had been put aside as a "post Christmas order". Whilst the photo book is good quality all I have received from this complaint is extremely disappointing service! Cannot believe this company was recommended to me. I would strongly suggest using a different company.
Despicable customer service policy
The product itself was fine but Albumworks' customer service and policies are appalling if something doesn't go to plan. My photo book was produced nearly two weeks in advance of the date I needed it for allowing plenty of time for error. My finished book would not load onto the Albumworks software. I spent the next three weeks continually phoning and emailing daily to try and resolve the problem. Eventually after two weeks of endless conversations, they asked me to upload it onto a USB stick and send it to them. They told me that the problem w...as that I had taken photos from Facebook. This is not true. I didn't have any photos from Facebook and even if I had, Albumwork's promotional website page states that you can upload photos from Facebook. They then emailed back saying that there was an error in production from their end so it would take longer. By this time, my husband's 40th birthday had long gone. I also paid for an overnight deliver which I clearly wasn't going to get. I asked for a refund or at least 50% off which they refused. They then offered 20% off and told me that I'd have to sort out the postal refund myself. Bearing in mind that they have a first time user (which I was) offer of 30% off any photo book. I was furious and reminded them of this offer. They then offered 30% off which is the same as the first time user offer. This is not acceptable. They also said that they would get in touch with the post company and see if they could get a refund of some sort. I have now received the 30% refund but I didn't ever receive a postal refund. When I asked to speak to their manager about this, they refused. I asked if they had a manager and was told that they couldn't answer that question. I still cannot believe that after all the trouble, money and time wasted on this photo book that they couldn't even refund more than a promotional offer and that I still have not been refunded anything on a postal service that I didn't receive.
Super service, high quality
I used this service to make a photo book for a Design assignment and am thrilled with the result. My book is 30 x 30 with a hard, matte cover and it has exceeded my (high) expectations. The images have turned out to exactly the right colour, the "paper" has a glossy feel which will last long term and I was able to use specific fonts installed on my computer instead of a standard set provided by a company. Great customer service, securely posted and wonderful assistance as required. The downloaded package is free, quick to learn and easy to use.
Will be using this company again for several family books and highly recommend them.
Questions & Answers
Can I import a scanned pdf file into albumworks. If so how do I go about it. Cheers
Unfortunately our editor does not accept PDFs therefore you would need to convert it to a jpg or png file first. Then you'll be able to use it. There are many free converters if you do a simple Google search of 'convert PDF to JPG'.
Alternatively you could re-scan in JPG format. With scanned documents or images we recommend scanning between 300-600dpi to ensure the quality is sufficient. Don't scan higher than 600dpi though, as it makes the file size too large and doesn't improve the print quality.
Hope that helps.

Can a photo album be worked on from different devices? As in, is it accessible via a login from different devices?
We've responded personally to your email. But here is an overview to your question.
If you use our online editor then you can work on more than one device. You access your project by logging in on our website.
If you use our download editor then your project is stored on the computer that you start it on. You can't easily move it to another device.
I make my albums on my desk top computer where I have all my photos to chose from and the ability to edit some as necessary using Lightroom and/or Photoshop. However, Albumworks are the best people to ask as they often update their services. Cheers
