Refund like its 1999
Moved over to Hug, as the savings were fantastic. So closed all my other insurance policies. 10 days later, wonder where Allianz refund is, as all other insurers I dealt with refunded within 72 hrs? Phone up and get told it takes 15 business days, with weekends thats about 1,400 hrs +. Oh and due to Covid-19 post could take longer!
It's 2020 guys not 1999, who sends a cheque anyway? I paid electronically, all other insurance companies refunded promptly electronically into the bank account I requested.
Shame in this day and age some dinosaurs still exist. Ah well we know what happened to them,, don't we?
Prompt reliable and friendly customer service
I have always been very satisfied with Allianz client service - they make your claims a priority and give you all the facts and are not critical if you have been in the wrong. Policies are very easy to set up with no complicated questions. I have been with Allianz in excess of 5 years now and find their rates very competitive - claims have been handled very promptly and efficiently. I will be a continuing client for sure.

Was easy to set up on line and customer service women was very good and new what she was doing. The staff answered all my question in timely matter and fixed the changes i need to my policy .
I've been with the company for many years, only in the last couple of years did I need to make two claims. The staff was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. As my car was written off, the amount of the refund that I received was exceedingly fair. A company that is a pleasure to deal with
Unable to review as I have yet to make a claim
I have yet to make a claim, so it is difficult to review properly. I did NOT appreciate the 13% increase in cost that was applied. It took an angry phone call to get this partially ameliorated.

yes good value, although during Covid 19, I am working from home and would have liked other options presented to change or adjust policy. I only drive my car once a week now and have moved to a more rural setting, which again wonder if my insurance should be cheaper. I would really appreciate someone looking at my policy and seeing what adjustments could be made, this is probably the downfall of automatically renewing policy as you don't talk to anyone who may offer to adjust your service
Emails and calls ignored
My policy renewal is nearing. I am a front line health worker who uses my vehicle to carry vulnerable people for work purposes. I inquired about receiving a bill reduction on the ground of compassion. My emails have been ignored. Two phone calls made where either no one answered, or I was asked to leave an email
Not impressed with the increase with my policy
I have been with Allianz for many years. I’ve never made a claim and always paid on time but very disappointed to see my policy amount has increased by a lot especially during this difficult financial time.
Hire car still require to improve
I don’t think it’s is a good values.Allianz require to look after the loyalty customer especially this Covid 19.
I was not happy with the hire car service when the car had no battery . When I rushed to work and I called no answer in Ivis . Luckily the Road assistant help they found out the battery was not connected well in the car that’s why I was unable to start the car for two days . I was stressed every morning to see if the car can start and go.

Quick to action and great outcome
My car was hit when it was parked by a drunk driver and ended up being a write off. I was afraid as this was my first dealing with insurance and I hadn’t heard good things. However, Two weeks later I have a brand new car and not out of pocket even $1. They were quick to help, never had to pay a thing and got me back on the road very quickly.
Value with confidence
Been with ALLIANZ for 14 years on two cars. Never had a claim so very fortunate.
Roadside assistance used 3 times for flat batteries and always successfully replaced by technician at a reasonable and convenient price.
Happy to go back, but not happy about the cost increase.
I was happy to return to Allianz as they have provided great service in the past, but I was very disappointed that (for seemingly no reason) the cost of my cover increased by over $100 and did not seem to be able to be alleviated in any way, despite my explaining to Allianz that I am currently a student and no longer employed.
I didn’t receive an email telling me my insurance was up for renewal, just one telling me they had renewed it, so wasn’t told of the new price or given the opportunity to check other prices , so just watch out for that .

Allianz understood my concerns and were very understanding, no claims, vehicle not driven much under these unprecedent times- corona virus
Allianz were great to deal with and when my other vehicle are due for renewal, I will touch base with Allianz.
The customer service is excellent the claims are hassle free and are sorted out in no time been a policy holder for 4-5 years now wouldn’t change anything at all

Value for money, no claptrap, no frills just the necessary without the need to flatter customers.
Claims procedure is fast and straightforward.
Pity they don't accept submissions in writing, only phone calls.
Worst insurance company ever
Have been fighting Allianz for 5 months now to get my car fixed made over 50 calls to Allianz try and get something done and been lied to countless times. I would never recommend Allianz to anyone. They are happy to take your money but make it incredibly different to get any repairs done by them.

Inexplicable 10% increase in premium
My complaint relates to the inexplicable annual premium increases. My latest premium (completely unchanged) was an increase of 10.3% from the previous year. The Allianz operator could not explain why.
I renewed policy again, have Allianz insurance on 3 car 2 houses along with Green slips, but I am now looking else were to get insurance. Made one claim, took vehicle to your repairer, then premium up again two years running. cost me money to get the repairs fixed that the recommended Allianz repairer should have done. try to submitted details to Allianz at time but seems not important. received the repair quote, over quote as many items not done, but I have paid for through premiums and excess payment.

Has anyone here had an experience of a write off with allianz? My car's wrecked by the hail. It's 5yo car but with immaculate condition, low kms. With its condition after storm, it'll probs be written off. I'm wondering how bad their payment is? How do they calculate the car's market value?

I have a claim.with Allianz for accident where I am not at fault, (other party admitted fault), my car is written off.
Allianz have told me their assessment is at the Private Sales market.
Why not the retail market? Claim.will be against the 3rd party, not Allianz
In our case it was an agreed matket value. We had the same issue where they paid the value and took the vehicle where they can get a better value. This is a racket run by Allianz, assessors and panel beaters. They write off the car in one state and take to another state and get a better price. My car was taken to Pickles auction. The rest is history.
