Buyer Beware

I ordered and paid for a Bush Clock Radio on 20/7/12 and having not received it after 17 days (6/8/12), I contact the company by phone to find out what the delay was as there had been none of the advertised communication in the case of my goods being delayed, and I was getting very concerned.
Their telephone staff member was very sympathetic, but could not tell me what was happening to my order - they “needed to contact the warehouse” and were going to get straight back to me by phone.
Having heard nothing by the following day (7/8/12), and quickly losing confidence in the credibility of this company, I rang them back to cancel the order and was told that they would “try” to cancel it for me??? It took a further two days for them to ring me (9/8/12) with the good news that my order had been cancelled. To their credit, a full refund arrived back into my account after only two more days.
My experience with this company was an unnecessary frustrating experience, and I will not be dealing with them for further purchases.

Order was made, no product arrived

When I ordered a sunbeam product on this website, there was no indication that the product was not in stock. After two phone calls and three weeks of waiting, still no product, I was told it was not in stock. I have cancelled my order. This is simply not acceptable - I was hoping to use this product for a party and could have bought it at a local shop weeks ago for a very similar price.
They did offer to refund me.
My product was not sent and I had to follow up twice.

"allow up to 7 business days for your order to be despatched"

I ordered a cookware on this website, and got a confirmation e-mail, which says "allow up to 7 business days for your order to be despatched." After 7 business days, no information for delivery provided. The confirmation e-mail even says "if a delay is detected you will be contacted by one of our customer service representatives to advise." After 7+3 days, I dialed their number by myself. A customer service representative told me that they will ship the product after two or three weeks later. Don't be cheated by the words "7 business days." Risks of the delay of your order are non-negligible for this website.

Purchase Belkin

I should listen what the review said. This is the first time I bought something from Alwaysonsale and this is the last one!!! Never want to buy from this website again. I purchased a Belkin Conserve Socket 2 weeks ago. Until today, I haven't received it!!! Called them twice and always inform will be despatched in 2 business days because they got a lot of stocks for my items! But nothing happening! Initially I got an email from them after paying the belkin. Email showing 7 business days to deliver and if clearance items will be despatched in 1 business day. The belkin was the clearance item.

The delivery is very slow

I placed an order with this site on July 31. I needed this product as I live in the bush and care for a person with a severe illness. It does state on the site that delivery is 7 days, however I think that time frame is very slow.I have today(9th August) received an e-mail to notify me that the item has been dispatched so I will await delivery which may take another 4 or 5 days.Perhaps my expectations of a fast delivery were a little high as I am accustomed to prompt responses from other sites that I deal with.
That when I originally reviewed this site someone did respond and offer to help me with the situation.
As I needed this item immediately the delay has left me in a difficult situation trying to make do without this item.

There's always a catch

Ordered two items. One was a birthday present. I allowed myself a buffer of a few extra days on top of their standard delivery/dispatch time... I waited well over 3 weeks and had no one contact me. I contacted them and they reacted surprised as if this is a one off occurance. They offered me a call back the next day but I didn't get one until after the package arrived a week later. I'd rather pay that little bit extra and make the cut off and not experience poor customer service.

Excellent customer service!

I ordered the "Sunbeam Cafe Series Planetary Mixmaster" for myself, some "Hoyts Hot Cash 10 Adult Passes" for my staff and some Royal Doulton Champagne flutes. All tems were delivered on time without any issues. The prices are good and there are a lot of products to choose from. Trying to decide what my next purchases will be

Lies on lies on lies

Ordered an espresso machine. Waited the 7 delivery days, no coffee machine. Rang on day 8, and was advised there had been an "urgent investigation" email sent to the warehouse. Rang on day 9, and got no further. Why is this review called lies on lies on lies? They advertise 7 working days for dispatch. . . a lie. They advertise 1 working day dispatch if the product appears in the Clearance House. The machine appeared, but no 1 day dispatch. . . a lie. They advertise that if a delay occurs they will cantact the client. . . they do not. . . a lie. I will not use them and I will strongly advise family not to either.

False Advertising and disgusting service

I ordered a Roomba robotic vaccume cleaner and waited patiently for the 7 business days that I was quoted for my "In stock" product to be dispatched. On day 8 I called the customer service centre and requested an ETA on my item. After calling them a second time on day 8 I was informed that it would take a further 24 to 48 hours to provide me with an ETA because the item is out of stock and they need to wait for the supplier to respond. How is it that a company can sell an item as "In stock" when it's not. I've emailled the cusomter liason manager but have not had a response from her as yet. If I had the confidence that I'd get my money back in a timely manner I'd cancel immediately but based on other reviews I'm not willing to take the risk. I shop online all the time and purchase products from all over the world and have never had and issue until now. My advise is don't purchase from this company as they can't deliver on the promises they make. Good prices don't make up for bad customer service.

Shocking service - noone knows what they are doing

I placed an order for a mixer and waited my 7 business days for it to be despatched. Checking my order staus on their website it showed that the order was still waiting despatch so I waited a further 4 days. Called the number to enquire about the status of my order and was told they would look into it and call me back within 24 hours - no call back. Called them back the next day and was advised the same thing and again no call back. Called the next day again and spoke to a supervisor who has just advised the same thing. I don't honestly believe they have the stock as they are very quick to offer a refund but can't tell when your shipment will be sent. Ironically their hold message tells me how great their customer service is and how they will contact me if me order is delayed in anyway post their 7 business day shipment timefram - ha ha what a joke!

Shocking customer service, noone can advise where my item is or when it will be shiped, 7 business day turnaround is a lie as it the line that they will contact you if your shipment is delayed

We purchased a Roomba vac and a Roomba steam vac in January. The vacuum robot works a treat. The steam vac didn't clean - moved the dirt around in circles . Sent it back with photos and asked for money back. They sent the machine back and wouldn't refund. Eventually we wrote to Fairtrading. They wrote to us"Fair Trading has made numerous attempts to contact the trader via telephone and written correspondence but has been unsuccessful in obtaining a response." We are now on their advice having to go through a Tribunal to get our money back. Be wary buying from this company in case you have a problem with the product .
We liked the idea of an automatic steam vac
It moved the dirt around in circles which could clearly be seen when it had finished.

great savings & customer service

having been a frequent online shopper for a number of years I have found shopping with Always on Sale to be most enjoyable. I had shopped around online and in traditional stores at home depots etc and I have to say the Always on Sale price for a Morphy Richards slow cooker was much much lower. A whole $70 or so lower. It would be silly not to go for it.

I received an email confirmation that my order had been received. After a couple of days I received a call from a customer service person, that they had unfortunately run out of stock and were awaiting another shipment and would I like to cancel the order or was I willing to wait. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the customer service rep in telling me exactly what was going on with my order and I really appreciated the honesty having had other experience with online retailers in the past. Having worked in retail, it was understandable that out of stock issues can happen especially when the product is amazingly cheap. Just like the rep said, my order arrived within the time frame that was proposed and I cannot be happier with the product I received.

I love my slow cooker, I cannot be happier with the product and at the professionalism of the staff that I had the pleasure with dealing with. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my friends and family. Especially when at the end of the day, I would have paid double that for the same product. I just can't believe it. Always on Sale, I would definitely buy from again and keep up the good work!!

it took slightly longer than what I had originally expected but at the end of the day I had great savings and they delivered what they said they would

Poor Customer Service - No Goods.

I ordered an Aerobed from Always on Sale on the 26.06.12, payment was cleared on 27.06.12. I allowed the web site's prescribed 7 working days for delivery and then some. There was no contact from the web site to inform me of the status of my order and when I checked online the status was still marked as 'on order' and I might add, still is! I chased my order on the 10.07.12 via telephone, when I was told by a customer assistant that she would check into the matter and get back to me. There was no further contact from the company, so I telephoned again on 12.07.12 and was told that the item probably was not in stock, but that they would check again and get back to me. To say I am not happy is an understatement! I would not think it good business practice to advertise and accept payment for a product which you do not have in stock, especially as there was no contact forthcoming to inform your customer of this fact. It should also be noted that the 'Always on Sale' website are still listing for sale the exact Aerobed they now say is out of stock. I have had many good online experiences purchasing goods from American websites and to be quite honest, I am seriously wondering why I would even consider ordering from an Australian website again, as the delivery is markedly slower and less reliable than similar international websites and the customer service pales in comparison.

The assistant I spoke to did some checking whilst I was on the 'phone and said that the item had been dispatched! Then why was it not showing as having been dispatched on my account I asked? The assistant said that there had been a glitch on the website! I asked after a tracking number for Australia Post, which I was duly given and am relieved to say the bed was delivered to my son (it was a gift to him) the next day. Lesley I will be emailing you under separate cover, as I think Always on Sale desperately need to improve customer service where delivery and communication is concerned.

I purchased a breville bem400r for $99 rrp $329 on 29th june received on 10th of July I didn't read reviews till after my purchase so I was a little worried but for the price it was worth the risk I'm glad I took it the only fault I could say is it they never informed me it been sent it

Great service

I bought 2 George Foremen Grill and Griddle. I can only say, the transaction was swift and I received the goods in 3 days only. Thanks to the team at the alwaysonsale. I will recommend this website to others. Only thing I thing they need to improve on is more products. I mean variety. At this moment it is not very enticing.

Very happy

I dont usually write reviews, maybe people are more likely to when they are disappointed with something. But after seeing so many negative reviews here, and purchasing a Breville Scraper Mixer I thought I should share my experience. Because I dont think people should be turned off from AOS because of these negative reviews. Unfortunately when buying online you will at some stage encounter some problems.
However, I am over the moon with my transaction. After hesitating on buying the same mixer in Target for $330, I found it on AOS for a third of the price! I decided to relax about when I would received it as from what I had read, I expected it to take some time. Bought it on the Saturday, was at the post on Wednesday :)
Perfect condition, looks amazing, am very happy!

Service with a smile

Received my coffee machine from Always on Sale last week, super fast delivery & excellent Cust. Serv.
Called them about a query & the girl on the other line was so helpful & cheery, I could hear her smiling down the phone.
I always seem to have bad luck with purchasing online, but Always on Sale made this all too easy & will be purchasing again from them in the future.
Coffee machine works beautifully, feeling a bit professional now :)


Really terrible experience- don't buy anything from them

I have been very disappointed by their service. I bought Breville mixer about a month ago. I have been chasing them since then and they always say this week it's going to be delivered and I haven't received it till now. They lure the customers with lowest price but no one calls you or informs you about the delay . Donno if I will ever receive my mixer or not! Very Frustrating!!

Great deal and Response on buying Breville Juicer

My expectations were high as Breville are prominent promoters and advertisers of their products. My previous juicer, some 15 years old, had prejudiced me against buying another so this purchase was based upon Brand and excellent price.

This Juicer actually meets and exceeds expectations, extracts juice from all fruits and vegetables. Large feed chute allows big pieces to be fed into the machine. Super easy to clean.
Service and delivery was very good, I would happily buy again.

Poor service - no item.

Ordered a compact gazebo a month ago, still haven't seen it. I rang company after a fortnight and was told that the item was in stock and would be dispatched, would receive it in 48 hours. Another fornight no item, no contact from them. I rang again to be told that the item was not in stock and was on back order. They debited my account a month again. Have now cancelled order and gone elsewhere. Never again

I ordered theme park tickets on Friday, it's now Sunday night and I haven't had a confirmation email to say my order has been accepted. Is this normal practice or should I be worried.

The web site states in your order: The verification process takes 24 hours and once verified as non-fraudulent you will receive an email when your order is confirmed. Thank you for your understanding of this process and we hope it's not too inconvenient.Just wanted to see if you got your tickets as I'm about to order theme park tickets? Did it work out?
