Check to see if it has to be assembled
This is the second item I have bought from Amart Glendale and both times I was lucky enough to have a storeman named [Name Removed] to bring out my furniture who did a great job assisting us. My big gripe though is the dining setting I bought. It is wooden, has 6 chairs and table. I paid $1300 and got each chair in 6 parts with 23 screws and bolts to each chair. Haven’t looked at the table yet! My friend said he will do a chair a week so should have it set up by Christmas. Never again.
Outdoor Furniture is rubbish
I bought several outdoor Shadow sets including bar table & stools, dining set and sunlounges. They look great and feel super solid like they'll last forever. Don't be fooled - the quality of the timber and workmanship is so bad that the legs split and the timber starts to rot within a couple of years of outdoor use. When they started to rot and fall apart within 2 years of purchase I tried to get them replaced under the 5 year guarantee but I was told that they are not meant to stay outside, and that they need to be kept undercover with cove...rs on at all times, otherwise the guarantee is void. This is ridiculous that Amart sell expensive 'outdoor' furniture that won't last outdoor in the elements for more than a few years. I note they no longer sell the Shadow sunlounges which is good because they were the worse items for rotting wood. Avoid this range of furniture, the quality is not good enough to stay outside and who wants to have an ugly cover on the furniture the whole time. It's a rip-off and they won't help you when they fall apart.
Terrible customer service
I went to this store to see a hall table, first time front the distance I was told oh look around they are a few, second time with my husband very similar, very lazy staff not interested to sell at all, very disappointed!!!

(Amart Furniture ) Low quality sofa leather
They sale very low quality leather. I bought one of the sofa . They said very good quality and payed good money. However with in 3 years sofa is use less( they said 10 years warranty) it's damage lether (check pictures). I claimed warranty but did not approve. Very frustrating. I won't go back any Amart furniture any more .
Assembly sucks !!!
Got a set of dining table and 4 chairs from Amart, immediately felt sick of their assembly. The wooden nuts don't fit in those designated holes and when hammered in, it got so tight inside the hole that it would crack the wood. Just complete horror!! After all the assembly, the cushion of the 4 chairs were instructed to be... glued to the frame!!??? What??? It felt to me like it was a failed product, which the manufacture got their planning wrong. I will not buy any furnitures from Amart again!
Terrible service will never shop there again and will definitely be spreading the word
Tony was the sales representative I dealt with he has very poor customer service skills, stuffs up your invoices and says one thing (in terms of delivery ) e.g free and can hold your items for x amount then you get surprised that items need to be delivered ASAP otherwise you’ll be waiting for next shipment which could take a century from my experience
Also bought an Amarah coffee table last year early October which was damaged and until this day I still haven’t received it, after brawling with the team I kept receiving lies about delivery dat...es and yet nothing was even put on the system, now I get told they have only ordered the table top not the legs and if I don’t pick it up ASAP I will have to wait for another shipment ( again this is me calling the store to check up on things as they don’t have the decency to call customers and notify them of changes). I have one more item pending with Amart and this time ill be taking my experience to fair trading with all the supporting documents I have! Worst store do not buy from there and never deal with Tony who claims to be a manger

Poor quality sofas
I bought a sofa for 3000 dollars 3 years back now the cushion is sinking and there is a bed in side this sofa, that part is really down . I put some wood over it to maintain the height. I contacted A mart they send a Sofa Doctor to inspect the sofa. They send a report that the sofa don’t have any manufacturing defect. A mart saying that they can’t do anything this is a usual cushion softening. I am wondering it’s only 3 year old now it sinking really down after couple of years what will be it’s condition. I got another sofas that has above 10 y...ear old still it’s doing good. Amart giving 10 year guarantee but no use they can’t consider costumers feelings. Costumer need to suffer after paying 3000 dollars in just 3 years and begging behind AMart costumer service. Not Recommending Amart for sofas . Beware of the situation that we face. Thanks
Very disappointed service
Bought a rumpus 3 years ago with 10 year guarantee, which sinks while sitting, someone came to inspect same, haven’t heard anything after a week, upon contacting Amart, I was told that they cannot do anything as there is no manufacturing defect according to the inspection. I wonder what is the meaning of this 10 Guarantee??? , also they did not even bother to contact me after inspection!!!. Not recommending Amart anymore
Bad condition Kota tallboy dresser
I have exchanged the Kota tallboy dresser 3 times and the quality keeps getting worser by each exchange. At end i will apply for refund
We purchased the atticus lounge from amart only for some time later the fabric was splitting and the inside of the lounge was exposed, they offered us a replacement which the lounge was replaced by the Holloway lounge and EVEN WORSE this lounge and the fabric is the worst, the fabric is disgusting and within months of having the lounge or started to pill not only was it pilling but the fabric was actually fraying, and the stitching coming undone also all the cushions were beginning to lose their shape. WITHIN MONTHS OF HAVING IT!! I submitted a...warranty claim with amart only for them to take weeks upon weeks to respond about anything, finally a response saying they would have a technician come out and assess the lounge which he did and told us that the lounge shouldn’t be doing this, this early in its life. I thought after he submitted his report that I would hear back from amart ASAP.... NOOOO several phone calls later only to find out they had the report for over 2 weeks and haven’t bothered to get back to me. Every customer representative I spoke to was rude and condescending, one girl actually laughed at me and was very unprofessional! I was told in store when we were getting a replacement that this lounge would not pill or anything that it was a “good Quality” lounge... still no resolution from amart other than them trying to put the blame all on me when they’re the ones that sell cheap nasty products for thousands of dollars. Taking this matter to fair trading hoping to get a better outcome. Save your money and don’t bother with amart. They even sell you the smart care fabric care package and then still won’t cover your item under their own warranty guarantee!!!! DISGUSTING
Amart Saloon recliners cause terrible back ache, shoulder ache and neck ache. Total discomfort!!!

The display model seems cozy and has been priced well.
But you will know the difference on day 1 after the product has been delivered.
I did complain and asked the Amart team to replace the product but I was being told that the product cant be replaced as the item has been unpacked. They did not take my feedback seriously.
It's been couple of months since we purchased the recliner and both my husband and I have ended up having a terrible neck pain and shoulder/back ache.
Amart team have been extremely inconsiderate.
I may not receive a refund but it's my genuine request to reconsider your decision if you have made up your mind to pick this product.
Rubbish lounges and service.
There service is disgusting, and their Lounges are of crappy material. Never ever go back. Delivery people SMELL and have know skills of handling new furniture. Never go back ever. Better furniture at the SALVOS.
Woeful service & manners.
I walked into the Amart Bankstown store with my 3 children in early Jan 2021.
I was immediately approached by a staff member called "DANNY".
The first thing he asked me when approached, before even saying a simple friendly Hello, he barked "wear is your mask?" to which I replied that I had a lawful medical exemption, which I had in writing from my doctor in my pocket.
His response was not only discriminatory but was completely illegal. He then asked me to leave the store, so I left immediately and reported the Bankstown store to fair trading...
Sven Tables have cracked in 3-4 months
After many emails Amart came to the party with x3 offers which is what I expected in the first place. I was originally told I had put water on them when they have never seen any water. Even if they did have water they shouldn't have cracked.
Bad Customer Management
Website listed the Product size as 80x100cm but was 80x110cm. Drove 3 hr round trip to purchase from store. Arranged an installer to fit it but when they turned up the mirror was too high for recess, product size in correct on website. Due to Covid we checked n looked online so when we turn up in store we are in & out with minimal time for safe practices. Even the in store ticket on product said 80x100cm which is again another false advertisement by Amart.
Only offered for us to drive it all the way back for a refund for something that is clea...rly wrong on Amarts end in all displays of ticketing n sales information. Cost for us to drive with time & petrol as well as me having to pay someone who turned up to install it (only charge me call out fee due to error luckily) to get a refund......Wow

We have just bought a bedroom suite and it does emit a very strong odour. Since we have had it my partner has had severe headaches, nausea and stomach cramps and I have had milder headaches. It is to the point where we have to sleep in another room. Can you please let me know, what are the chemicals we are smelling and what can be done about it?
