Check to see if it has to be assembled
This is the second item I have bought from Amart Glendale and both times I was lucky enough to have a storeman named [Name Removed] to bring out my furniture who did a great job assisting us. My big gripe though is the dining setting I bought. It is wooden, has 6 chairs and table. I paid $1300 and got each chair in 6 parts with 23 screws and bolts to each chair. Haven’t looked at the table yet! My friend said he will do a chair a week so should have it set up by Christmas. Never again.
Sales people don't know everything
We purchased 2 leather lounges, a lifetime major purchase. I explained to the sales person my concerns that they may not fit through our door, but after completing the house type survey, which is very basic. Our older home has narrow doorways and an awkward foyer entry. I was assured it was o.k. I measured the lounge it might just fit.Upon delivery, we discover the 100kg lounges are in boxes which is our responsibility to unpack, furthermore the boxes will not fit into our house, and are placed in the carport. The delivery men gave me instruct...ions of how we could manoeuvre the lounges into the house after unpacking them. They told me this often happens. The sales person, obviously wanted a sale and maybe he was genuine in his knowledge. Delivery people have their instructions and liabilities and are expected to solve these challenges in a limited time frame, so they are not at fault either. Four people were required to manoeuvre the extremely heavy lounges into our longe room.
Disgraceful customer service and cheap throw away products.

Recently expressed my concern regarding the purchase of the AMARI 3 piece Bench Dining Setting. The product was opened in June 2019 and placed in an undercover alfresco area away from direct sunlight and protected from rain and other elements.
Significant deterioration of the product was notable with evident rusting of the the white aluminium.
I contacted customer service with photographs attached and received an abrupt reply - see below
We have assessed you photos and unfortunately ...this has been assessed as not a manufacturing issue and therefore we will be unable to proceed any further with your claim."Amart Furniture's liability under this Quality Guarantee does not extend to: damage, failure, fading, or deterioration (of the whole of the Product or its components) caused by normal wear & tear; or damage (including corrosion) caused by improper use, abuse, neglect, assembly, placement, storage care or maintenance, including damage caused by failing to adhere to care instructions"
