WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Most of the staff have very poor customer service skills. Absolutely no clue on how to talk to a customer. I made a complaint on their website but no response from management.
Very dissatisfied with the service
Purchased a coffee table and a lamb table, got home found a crack on one of the legs and 2 holes on the top of the table itself. Called the store, the staff member told me that I can replace it. When I went there another person pulled out my account saying that I was offered 50% but I declined it which is totally not true I wasn't offered that so obviously they write things on the system that doest match what they have told you. Then I get the table, put 3 legs then got to the 4th one it fell apart. Called them again they said they'll speak to ...the manager and get back to me which again didn't happen. I waited 4 days no one returned my call so I called and spoke to the manager and was very disappointed with her poor service as well. She said that they can offer me the discount only if I keep the table. I have been 3 times to the store for one piece of furniture that was faulty. Seriously? What on earth I will do with a defected table as well as misleading information put through was really unacceptable. Never going back again
Buyer beware - cheap furniture that will fall apart. No service when you need it.
Purchased Kensington lounge and it started falling apart in few months. Surface peeling off. After run around I was offered half of what what I paid for it to forgo my warranty. Declined the offer to get a replacement delivered. Few months later same issue. This time one of the reclining chair was faulty out of the box! Another more expensive lounge we purchased at the same time as original started falling apart after 2 years. Its all kept neat and clean. Just general usage. No pets. Still cheap crap materials will not last. Very poor warranty service / process.
Ordered online on 9th Oct and opted for click n collect option from their rouse Hill store. Was told I would receive a call within 24 hours to arrange collection waited 4 days and no call. So called and enquires about my order and despite paying in full they were unable to trace my order. This is just absurd. I am waiting to hear back from them. Do yourself a favour and don’t shop online with these guys - they are totally clueless
Poor from start to finish
Advertised much but was out of stock on many items. Had to sit and wait for 6 and a half hours for delivery with no possible contact with driver. One item did not arrive. One complicated item came with no instructions. Very, very frustrating and time consuming.
Terrible Customer Service
I won't recommend this store to anyone. the customer service is Awful. I went to Auburn and Prospect store and especially the manager of Prospect Kate is the rudest person I have ever seen. please do not purchase anything from them. IKEA, Fantastic Furniture and Focus on with the same price and better quality and the best customer service.
This was the worst furniture ever
When I went in to the store, the staff didn't even ask me if i wanted or need help, i wanted to buy a bed frame, 12 weeks later it finally got delivered. I had to ask them for has i attempted to get it into my house. Three weeks after the frame has cracked. This is just terrible will never be buying from Amart Furniture.
I don’t know how these guys have such big delays with such crappy furniture. And they won’t even call you to tell you about delays, they just ignore it until you call them up and ask. They need to start stocking packages in a warehouse and not rely on orders to make it on time from overseas. The staff are happy to lie about delivery times just to get a sale and get away with it. I definitely won’t be buying anything else from this joke of a furniture store.
Purchased corner sofa in Dec and was assured it would be available for pickup mid Feb. Got rid of the old sofa under Amart's assurance and now I don't have a sofa.
Got a call in Jan to say it would be delayed until mid April due to supplier issue in Indonesia. Was assured someone would call me back to discuss further. Now I don't even have the pickup transport I was going to use.
Last week I got another call to say it would be available in May. Nothing was offered as compensation for the delay and inconvenience.
It seems like some sor...t of SCAM with Amart taking customer's money and investing to expand their business and delaying supply as long as they can. The demand/supply planner need to re-look at their job description, so do the managers. I am sure they would be suing their overseas supplier for the delay, yet nothing is passed onto the customer. I am reporting this issue to the FAIR TRADING DEPARTMENT and I hope they will take some action looking at the number of reported complaints. I am sure the MEDIA will also bring out those unreported complaints and someone needs to have a serious dig at these thugs. I would be demanding free delivery and compensation in return, taking into account the hassle and inconvenience caused. Seriously Amart, what the hell is the problem with you?
Very bad service, not sure about the quality of goods yet...
I went to pick up 8 dining chairs in Prospect store. Paid the balance because my wife had to pay a holding deposit when ordered the chairs 2 months before. Went to pick up gate. Apparently 2ic (I guess "Second in charge") guy took the sales order with receipt from me and asked me to wait in my car. I was waiting there for about 10 min. and nothing was happening so I went back to ask what was going on. When I asked the same guy were is my order, he asked me for my paper work. I told him that he took it from me about 10 min ago. He denied it. I c...ould not believe it I got naturally quite annoyed. He asked me to calm down otherwise he won't serve me. That was just after one lady came down to ask them for missing bolts for her new chair. Then I released that I have another print out of a mail from them. I showed it to him but didn't want to give to him being afraid that he looses it again, so I asked him to write it down. He refused until I asked him who was his manager. Then he started act as a normal service person and delivered the chairs to me.

Did not find that good, the quality of the products
I chose Amart as they had some offers going on like buy 1 and get the other one for half. Being impulsive not only I bought a few items but ordered a couple as well those were actually of stock. I bought a queen size bed (KORI), coffee table (Majesty) and a 2 door entertainment unit (Majesty) and ordered Majesty Dining Table and Triumph Chairs. Though the staff at their store is very helpful but unfortunately the quality to the furniture did not prove good. Wood is coming off the center table, all the joints have become so lousy and there is no...way I can fix those by tightening the screws. Back board of the bed too has chipped. Experiencing this, I then decided to cancel my order for the dining table and chair, but could not do that over the phone. I was suggested to visit the store if I wish to cancel the order. My recommendation: better to avoid Amart especially the brands that I have listed.

Very Extensive Good Variety Large Store Display And Friendly Customer Service.
My first experience with Amart Furniture at Prospect, NSW has been quite pleasant and I have no complaints at all about the Customer Service which I have rated as excellent, I purchased a large amount of furniture for my new second-floor addition and my wife and I are very happy with the design, style, price and quality of this furniture.
There was an initial hiccup with the delivery as the man said the Cinema seating was too large to take up the stairs, I asked him if it could be disassembled to take up in separate parts and he said no it's...just one piece, so I asked him how I can get it upstairs and he said you will have to arrange for a crane lift to the upper level, in the meantime it was left outside under the carport, of course I was a little disappointed so I rang the Amart store manager Tony Monteleone and explained what happened and he was also disappointed with the delivery man and said he should have opened the package box and it can be disassembled, Tony apologised to me and arranged for the special assemblers they use to move and reassemble the Cinema seating on the upper level with no extra cost to me. I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful at the Prospect Super Amart store, and they also keep you informed with updates on delivery, the store itself is very well laid out and makes browsing the furniture very pleasant and there is also a large Amart car park with plenty of convenient parking directly outside the store. The few minor issues and questions I had were always sorted out in a friendly helpful and timely manner with a quick telephone call to the store manager Tony who is a very honest and trustworthy person and goes out of his way to keep his customers happy. I will certainly be shopping there again and confidently recommend the Prospect Amart store.

My husband and I were looking for mattress for our kids we were serviced by Fiona In prospect store she knew her products, very professional and honest. The delivery of the mattress was next day once payment was made as they informed me. The delivery guys were very professional and polite.
We will definitely shop at Amart Prospect again and recommend to family and friends
Poor Quality Lounge Suite - Want my money back!!!!
We bought the San Marco 3 piece lounge suite about 15 months ago, & after 6 months I noticed that the centre of the 3 seater lounge had fallen back. We had the lounge repair people (which took ages for them to come out) to fix the lounge twice again after a week it has fallen back. At this stage I will be demanding my money back or I will take this to the media & expose Super Amart for what they are, as also falsely advertised that the lounge was 100% top gain leather when I received the certificate they read split leather. The store where we purchased the lounge was at Prospect.
Poor customer service
It's a very pathetic experience today at prospect with my family. We entered into the store. My 5 year old son was touching the price showing small board on top of the furniture. May be just 2 or 3 minutes, the asst manager [name removed] yield at my son and told me that he is touching the stuff and its very tough for them to organize. I told sorry and then we moved to kids section. My son probably tried to climb on the bunker bed but there is no way to climb as you guys put something, then again the same lady [name removed] started yielding at...my son and shouting us to control my son. This time i got angry and asked her what's the problem. It's very insulting infront of the other customer. If my son does something wrong, as a good stuff she could come and quietly tell us instead, she was yielding in front of everyone. Have experienced anything like that in my 5 years time in Australia. I got too angry and telling other stuff what's her problem. She came to me and telling me to leave the store. I am also a manager in an IT firm got better communication skills than her and knows how to talk to a customer. Got very insulted when she told me to leave the store. I could have make a chaos but as a responsible person left the store and now writing to you. Couple of other customer saw that and came outside to convince me and assured me that i was right. Please beware of this store and never look back.
broken chairs but replaced
We ordered a dining set and 6 chairs. 2 chairs were cracked. We were told to email the store (Prospect) and never heard anything after trying twice, so I contacted the Live Chat on their website. Within 24 hours it was sorted out and we got a call from the manager, and were able to swap out the chairs. Very happy with the eventual outcome but wish the quality control was better, and the store checked emails since we were told to email them.

Worst experience ever
Spent $6700 @ A mart Prospect on recliner sofa, tv unit, lamp table, a coffe table and leather doctor insurance kit...
My wife had saved that money over the years, as we want every thing brand new for our new appartment...first shock was cowboy delivery driver's,there truck does not had the basic hydraulics and they literally dropped the stuff from the truck on the ground and then they were rolling the items and all this happened in front my eyes...
