Unfortunately I have to agree with previous lowly reviews. I purchased a Bohemia lounge and around 3.5 years old it began flaking leather I also purchased the protection package with included leather cleaner was used thoroughly but had my claim rejected by the 3rd party company as it only covers this for 3 years. Yeah I could say I got 3 plus years out of it, but to me that really isn't a pass. Will just be contributing to unnecessary landfill. Couldn't consider any future furniture purchases from them.
Valentina bed! Already broken
Had my bed (Valentina) for a month and a half and its already broken. Theres a little leg in the middle of the bed and it broke. Now theres a big dip in the middle of the bed as the metal bar down the bed is now bent. Maybe Good for kids, definitely not average sized adults.
Expect no refund policy for unpacked defective products. Get shocking customer service to find resolution.
Purchased 5 items and the horror story began asap after unpacking the boxes.
Out of the 5 items I purchased ,, only the pair of recliners worked.
The pair of beds I bought could not be assembled, as it had missing nuts and bolts.
Whilst the corner table I ordeted had missing stickers to match the instruction manual.
After calling the warranty department, I was told that the items were not on stock and I have to wait possibly 10 days.
To lessen the wait (so I can have a bed to sleep on) it was suggested that I just go to the local hardware and purchase the missing nuts and bolts. (Great quality control solution)
After all the hassle, pain and fustration , I just gave up and asked for a refund....The next chapter to this horror story occured when I was transferred to the refunds dept. To my shock , I was told that Amart will not provide me a refund because I already unpacked the (defective) products. Summarizing the situation to the refund department why I want a refund was because of the following. 1 The items should have been delivered in good and complete condition. 2 The items delivered had missing parts/ defective. 3 The items can not be replaced on time due to supply issues 4 Items have to be unpacked to assemble them. Again to my shhock, I was given a short lesson law consumer law " since the items (defective items ) were unpacked I do not qualify for a refund and that I should just wait for the products when they become available." Fustrated , I asked to speak to a manager to clarrify things. Guess what, I was told that her manager is busy and will call me when he can. "when he can" I asked, Reply " When he is available." Again I asked "when is he available" "Next year"? Guess what, the reply was "Yes he will call you next year if feels like it." So Amart as a customer this is what you provide . 1 facility for online shopping. 2 expect poor product quality control and possible defective products 3 do not expect timely replacement 4 do not expect a refund because the delivered defective product(s) is/ are already unpacked. 5 you can expect a call from management to resolve your issue possibly "next year" Thank you Amart, you just taught me 1 what Big time Grief is 2 never to purchase again because the policy is "unpack the items at your own risk" 3 suck up and wait for the items "when available". 3 Do not expect the manager to call because he may call " possible in a year if he feels like it" Thank you Amart for hiring great refund front line people with shocking problem solving skills Will Never buy from Amart again!!!!!! and will tell all my friends and customers.

Products are ridiculously awful, furniture is made of sawdust and barely lasted a year before not only cutting itself in half but also impaling my mattress in the process, so now my 6 month old mattress has a hole in the bottom of it. Photos are of the centre support beam with the leg that went straight through it.
We purchased an outdoor item in November last year. It has completely deteriorated and Amart has wiped their hands of it saying that they won’t do anything as it was caused by the weather. It’s an outdoor item!!!!! Would never ever recommend anyone to buy from Amart.
Very Poor service
Mis-information from Caringbah store cost me $160 for a delivery, stock showing as available, not available. All round very poor experience. I would not shop at this store again ever.
Worst customer service ever
The purchased object arrived broken and they wouldn't return and give the money back. Got into lots of argument and eventually a fight was about to happen. Never ever recommend anyone to waste their money that way.
Forget your warranty!
Bought an expensive mattress with 10 year full replacement/ refund warranty. Unfortunately that thing didn't last and we had to hand in a claim. At first Amart offered us a ridiculous sum of money as reimbursement and then pointed out some clause in their warranty that stated we had to " inform them straight away from the damage or the warranty MAY be affected". Now the mattress didn't break in half and the damage was barely noticable at first and as soon as we knew it was the mattress, we went to Amart. Ended with Amart completely refusing to do anything except fobbing us off to manufacturer! Horrid customer service! Horrid quality! Won't buy there again.
Selling second hand or display furnitures as new in package
Just unpacked them and found out sofas full of mark and have been wiped

First time buyer, last time too.
I ordered a 2 door panty online. Seemed like a good deal with the price and shelf space after looking online at other places, and being in SA sealed the deal.
Never received a email confirmation within 30 minutes, like the site informed me they would, nor a delivery estimate.
After a week of waiting for the email I contacted them on their site and informed them that I wished to cancel the order and get a refund for the $149 for the pantry. They then sent two emails both containing a separate invoice each, both expecting me to pay a $88 deliver...
Do not buy from Amart.
Word of warning: Do not order from Amart. I am not one to write reviews on services and products but I feel like I have to to save people from the poor customer service and chaos that Amart would have caused. The delivery is extremely inefficient and they do not follow company procedures - basically doing what they feel like what is right. Anyone considering Amart should opt for other furniture stores that have guaranteed and reliable quality of customer service and delivery.
