Structural Warranties are not worth the paper they are written on it.
You walk in and someone finds you right away, ready to take all your money off you. The Team is pushy and they love talking about the more expensive pieces you are not interested in.
We bought the Spartacus 3 Seater and 2 Recliners. DO NOT BUY!!!! Its Structure failed. 5 years warranty they claimed but that expires if you do not put in within 7 days. Then they stuff you around for 5 weeks sorting it out. They are not happy to help you. We had the springs coming out of the seat while they were checking the structure. They stuff you around and take any measurement to not give you any money.
350 $ we got offered. That covers about half the recliner chair.
Lost us as customers for life. I will advice everyone i know to buy somewhere else.

On the 7th January, my partner & i went into the store & wanted to buy a bed suite. When first walking into the store, we were NOT approached, not noticed or seen by anyone- but did find a Bed Suite we liked. We left the store and did later return as we couldn't find anything else we had liked else where. We spoke to a sales person, and she sold us our Bed Suite, she did tell us there was a short delay on the bed (that we should receive it late February-March). But we had just moved inter-state so we needed storage for our clothes & belongings,...on explaining this to the lady- she was kind enough to let us take the Tall Chest and we made an $700 deposit. My partner received a phone call late February from the store saying that the Bed Suite was now not going to arrive until late April-May. Not happy obviously, my partner said it wasn't acceptable. They were nice enough to give us a $100 discount and free delivery on $80. My partner was told that we would receive a call back from them to confirm how the travel of the bed was coming along.. NO PHONE CALL. My partner then returned to the store, 3 weeks after the phone call and asked them what was going on.. They told him there was nothing they could do, as they had already made the discount- but would ring him back later that afternoon to see if they could find out anymore information about a time frame of the arrival of our Bed Suite... NOTHING! NO PHONE CALL AGAIN! Three weeks later, my partner & I went into the store, to see if they had heard anymore.. And the store manager says from behind her desk "when would you like it delivered"? Are you freaking kidding?! We have been waiting for this bloody Bed- and there it was here all along. Turns out, it was actually another couples bed but they didn't need it yet as their house was still getting built. How long had then known this for? However, we were grateful. We payed the remanding fee off the Bed Suite as organised delivery to bring it to our home the next day (TODAY). When opening the boxes and starting to assemble the bed, my partner realised that the bed wasn't going to line up with the screw holes, we didn't have enough bolts, and the screws were the wrong size. He rang the store & explained this to them- they then said "we will send the delivery drivers back out to have a look"... My partner is builder by trade, so he knows when things aren't going to measure up. Unless the delivery guys were going to come back & drill a new hole- this bed isn't going to go together.. My partner rang the store after the delivery drivers left for the second time asking her to explain why all this is happening, she was rude. Told us that we should be grateful that it turned up in March- Um, Hello lady. This isn't even the original bed we ordered remember?! We are grateful that we got to take someone else's Bed Suite, but now its almost 6pm we have half a bed frame built in our room- two deliver drivers out here who are so over it because we are pissed off. They now have to go do another three deliveries- then come back and pack up our suite (INCLUDING OUR TALL BOY) and take it back to the store... Thankyou Super Amart for your "friendly" service. We are now left with nothing. No bed, no bedsides tables, no tall boy (NO FREAKING STORAGE)... and No idea how your customer service could go so terribly wrong. & To the man from the Head office, contradicting my partner- saying that he was lying as the Store Manager had told him a different story.. You seriously need to get new staff & a new attitude! Im absolutely appalled with this service!
Liars waiting for a lawsuit!
Just went to a friends new house and find out they recently got a new dining setting due to a recall on some faulty dining chairs from Amart. The recall was on the majesty setting only from what I've been told and can find online but we had a "mansell" chair buckle from one of the legs about 3 months back and when I went in store and online to get a replacement they weren't selling them any more! looking at the construction of the two they're near identical! So I guess that explains it! Pity they weren't as honest when I went in store to find out why!! And about recalling this make as well! Clearly waiting for a lawsuit before taking action on protecting customers!
Another peeling bonded leather couch.
We purchased a corner chaise bonded leather couch from super amart. In less than 3 years all the "bonded" leather has peeled off to the point of having to throw it away. When we called super amart kawana where it was purchased the sales person obviously had our details come up in front of her from our phone number and said is your couch peeling before we told her of the problem. Sorry she said it's out of warranty. This is obviously a design fault by the amount of these poor reviews are posted on the Internet. We now need to find and buy a new ...couch. We will not be going anywhere near super amart and as a tradesman at a different house every day I am happy to spread the word and warn others not to shop there. Poor quality products and no after sales service. I understand it is a budget store but less than 3 years for a couch is ridiculous.
Very bad and poorly made furniture and even worse customer service!!
I have been through 3 couches the third is no better then the Iraq, first couch had staples coming through ripping te cushions open and nearly sliced my 4 year old daughters arm open.. Was a very poorly made couches.. Then the second one started polling went all discoloured and was replaced again after a very long process of trying to get someone to listen that couches they had in stock were not able to fit in the lounge room we had so they made us wait for months for a new couch to come in that would suit the room so we ended up going back to ...buying the original couch just a new one.. It's no better then the first second or third!!! Very disappointed that my new ottoman had a huge rip in the bottom and one leg was missing.. We asked for a refund but unfortunately they said we couldn't have one!! And to choose a bed or something different ... We didn't need anything but a couch and still no refund... So we kept the couch and the ripped ottoman as we were sick of 3 years of problems that were never resolved.... Very very dissapointed and will never shop at this place Again!!!!!!

Bonded leather Nix Corner Chaise. Lasted only 3 years in a home with no kids, no pets ..only 1 adult. Because it is out of warranty, it's so sad too bad. Now it has several cracks and tears.
Super A Mart Rockhampton told me nothing they can do about it. It is out of warranty.

In June 2012 we purchased 2 bonded leather single seated lounges and now they are useless peeling and look totally disgussing! They are a total embrassment and look like they belong at the tip not happy at all super amart
Bonded leather couches
I also have purchashed one of these bonded leather couches and am absolutely outraged with the quality of the product. Just after the two year warranty on the fabric runs out it starts peeling. We are now stuck with this couch which looks absolutely disgusting and are still paying off. How can a company get away with selling such an inferior product.
