Terrible, cheap quality.
I bought the spacesaver drawers for $249, expecting decent quality for the price. The wood (if you could even call it that) came out of the box damaged and then was difficult to assemble. The structural integrity was poor and overall the quality of the materials was very poor. Would not buy again.
Do not waist your money on SMART CARE
It is not as easy as they tell you.
The fabric care kit does not work as good as they advertise it.
You need to email Smart Care proof of purchase.
You need to send Smart Care photos and it needs to be done within 5 days of the accident. it will get rejected anything over the 5 day period.
Amart nor Smart Care tell you this information upfront.
Save your money and get it professionally cleaned by an independent cleaner.
One word: bad
People in store are fine. But the delivery could not be any worse. They arrive 2 hours before the time and gave 10 min notice instead of half an hour. The table was completely damaged. It was torn in half and you could see the split from the box. The chairs are all scratched and marked. Never going to buy anything from Amart ever again
kombi bunk Bed
Product is of good quality and my kids liked it but annoying part is assembling it as there are so many parts and no labels on the wood pieces. Moreover the instructions are not very clear. Bit disappointing. It took 6 hours just to do the half of it for 2 people.
IKEA product instructions are much more clear and simple.
Hard to assemble
We bought the phoebe lounge and decided to put the legs on ourselves thinking how hard can it be to screw a few legs on? Very hard as it turns out - it look 3 hours and a trip to Bunnings to buy 2 new drill bits to replace the ones that were destroyed trying to screw the screws in. The lounge is lovely and customer service in store was great.
Sells dofldgy furniture
We brought a bed from Amart a few years ago that so no longer covered by their warranty. It is completely falling apart, and seems to be really bad quality

Bought outdoor furniture, no issues so far
Bought an outdoor dining set (dining table+8 chairs) and a different outdoor couch set (couch+2 armchairs+coffee table). They had a promotion which reduced the price somewhat if you spent over a certain threshhold, and my purchase was quite pricey as I bought a better quality set. Allowing us to mix the sets was also good. As the couch set was not in stock we had to wait a few weeks until delivery which was communicated from the start and it suited us perfectly as we had to get the outdoor area ready for the furniture anyway.
A small scare -...we got an SMS one day about 1 week before delivery saying the items would be delivered that day but it was a mistake and we shortly got a call confirming delivery would come the date that we agreed. Delivery went ok - no damage or issues. I assembled the furniture easily, also got a cover to protect the table. So far so good, quality is fine, I guess time will tell but I don't foresee big problems. We were not able to order additional cushions for the dining chairs, this would've helped a bit to get replacements or to add extra cushions if needed.
Shoddy customer service
I placed an online order to "click and collect" in-store for an oscar filing cabinet. We arrived a few days later in store to find the counter staff trying to locate the order on the system. This despite me having an order number and email confirmation. We waited around 20 mins whilst they messed around on the computer trying to rectify things. At no point did anyone attempt to apologise or pay us any attention. There was at least 3 members of staff sitting around chatting doing nothing.
Finally when all was said and done and we'd paid we we...re directed to the warehouse to wait yet another 10-15mins to wait for the item to be located and dropped at our car. Amarts click and collect service is a joke and completely misses the point of what is supposed to be a time saving and convenient customer service option. I will not be using it again, overall i have been put off buying from Amart.
Terrible service and finance company they deal with
This review is directed at the munno para store!Their finance e company lattitude are so incompetent and thats an understatement by far! amart people and their wharhouse /delivery service are rude unhelpful and allround absolute joke hence their 1.9star review ! Get with the times and get onto certegey !
Injury and not much reaction from the store
I purchased a bed frame in store with extras. After having it for a month the bed frame snapped and I landed on my wrist with it fracturing it. The response I got from the store and higher up is that they needed evidence not like I was in a cast for two weeks and without work. I would not recommend going to Gepps cross store.
Fast easy transaction and great buy
Went in store. had already used the online wishlist to work out what we wanted. How much it should have all cost and the discount we were expecting to get on our purchase. The salesperson was helpful yet not pushy at making the sale. which is something refreshing. he said leave it with me and i will work out the best cost. well we were blown away with the amount we paid for what we got. 6 acaia wood furniture pieces for 25% off each piece. great buy. Love Amart.
Waste Of Money, Substandard Quality.
We purchased our bedroom suite (Quebec range) for $3000 & upon receiving we noticed straight away ridiculous patch marks on it from where the manufacturer had done the dodgiest job on damaged goods. We rang & were told we would be waiting months for replacements & that we would have to return our furniture immediately - we would have had no bed to sleep on so we're forced to keep what we had. Then we noticed all the paint flaking off in corners of the furniture & up the very top of the headboard which is untouched by us & we have already at thi...s stage accepted that the quality is terrible but it gets progressively worse over 12 months so we ring the store we purchased it from & are advised by the manager that it is a known problem, it is due to the wood the manufacturer used & it swells & expands causing the paint to crack & flake but no it is not covered under the structural warranty. I ask if they can fix it with touch up paint & they refuse I said this is not good enough & am going to take it further I was told to let them see what they can do & they'll call me back. Eventually they did stating they have refunded us $100 to buy paint ourselves out of good faith & that's the best they can offer. To say I was aggravated by this is an understatement, why must I do the work myself because your dodgy company sells dodgy furniture?? How do your employees think this is an OK solution?? So on top of that they didn't even refund the full $100..... I have purchased many, many times from your company as you'd see on our store file but now I refuse to walk in your store - so disappointed!!!
Definitely NOT Furniture for Life
Last year I bought a corner lounge suite from Super Amart. I also spent extra money and bought Leather Doctor treatment which I apply regularly to protect it and maintain it. In the last few months the couch has been peeling and looks absolutely horrible. I rung the store because I still had my receipt of proof of purchase and told them of my problem. They were not interested as it was over a year ago since I purchased it. It really upsets me (and makes me angry) when I see Super Amart commercials and they brag about their furniture being ...'Furniture for Life' because this is definitely not true and it is false advertising. I would have expected this lounge suite to last longer than 14 months, and their response and reaction to my problem was totally unsatisfactory. I will definitely NOT be shopping at Super Amart anymore.
Poor quality furniture
I have purchased 3 separate products from this store, 2 lounge suites and a bedroom package. All of which have been well below standard. The lounge suites have only lasted a few years and the warranty was worth nothing!! The bedroom furniture has come apart and broken.

Bought a bed frame and the wood broke
Went to the store to buy a new bed frame, had to wait 9 weeks for it to be delivered. 3 months after I got the bed frame, I notice huge cracks on the side of the bed frame, then at night when my husband and I are sleeping, out of nowhere the bed collapses and my husband falls of the bed and hits his head on the wall. Had to keep the bed up with a car jacker and can hear the bed slowing cracking on more sides, I am surprised the other side has not snappped yet, which would leave my husband and I to sleep on a single mattress on the floor. Absolu...tely ridiculous. Would not recommend buying from Amart. January 9th 2018 Update: This bed frame is terrible I bought a bed earlier this year from Amart. 3 months later after buying it, a huge mark appeared on the side of the bed frame. The bed ends are snapping in half on one side of the bed, the wood is actually rotten. I had to use a car jack & a piece of wood to hold the bed. The bed frame now has even more marks. Then, 10 pieces of wood which holds the mattress ends up snapping in half, leaving the mattress to fall through it. After trying to take down the bed, the wood frame bends & leaves a hole in the wall. Absolutely ridiculous. Might have to consider sleeping on the fall. I had to even use sticky tape to hide some the cracks. If you want to receive rotten,used wood which breaks in half, then Amart is for you.
The service at gepps cross is terrible. I was interested in buying a bedroom suite as it was on a good sale according to the price on it. The salesman said no the sale was finished. Well this is the price that's on it that's what i expect to pay. Anyway he said he would go double check. Waited 10 min and then seen he was busy serving someone else! So i approached him and walked out disgusted. Just as bad i sent an email to the store and never got a reply. Disgusting service.

A fair product for a fair price.
I bought an entire house worth of furniture during the boxing day sale and saved a figurative fortune.
The level of service I received was quite outstanding and the delivery fee being a flat rate was quite the bargain for me considering how much I bought, but having said that as it is a flat right that could seem very steep for someone who is only buying one item.
The furniture itself did have a lot of minor defects. Being slight quality issues with the veneer, a few very minor nicks in the vinyl on the dining chairs and some of the pre...drilled holes being not quite right. I would definitely recommend using an impact driver to assemble the furniture provided one has access to one and the knowledge of how to use one properly or else the suggested assembly times will be very ambitious to say the least. All in all I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for, and that could not be truer than when shopping at Super A mart. I was entirely happy with my purchase and also sales experience and would not hesitate to recommend them. You just have to realise in advance that you are buying quite cheap furniture and not delude yourself into expecting perfection. I can without doubt say that I will shop there again.
Broken handles and No Replacement!!!
I bought a Chresthill bedroom in January 2015 that cost me $1,650 and this had 2 years of warranty. This bedroom furniture is hardly used but, 2 months ago the Handles of the tall boy started to break on a weak point. So, I went to Super Amart at Gepps Cross SA 5094, and exposed my problem. They told me they would contact the manufacture to get new ones at no cost because, it was in the warranty. At the time they had no problems the furniture was in the warranty and therefor they would find a solution. They also reassured me that they would fi...nd a solution. Today I call them, and the way I was attended was a poling. First, they said they had contact me on the 2nd November 2016 but, I had no massages, no emails, no letters, no nothing. Second, they said that the product was discontinued and that the manufacture don't make more handles like that. So, they couldn't replace them. And Third, they said that the warranty was only 1 year because, the problem was only with the tall boy and not with the all bedroom. When I confronted them with "but I bought it has a bedroom unit not has separate items" the answer was "TO BAD, go to Bunnings and buy handles!". Well Super Amart, the handles at Bunnings won't do because, I have to drill new holes in the furniture and that's not what I want. This process will ruin my furniture. They couldn't care less.They were Not helpful. I paid $1,650 in a bedroom furniture and they kicked me to the curb! I bought things from them before. I will not buy from them ever again!!!!
