Horrible customer service
I ordered the Nobby outdoor setting in August 2018 and since then I have been facing a lot of issues and till date haven't got a resolution or my order. There have been a series of events that I would like to describe here. When I ordered this piece (Nobby) I was told the delivery time frame would be end december to which I instantly checked that I won't be here for 5 weeks so would that impact anything? I got a response that the store will call you once the stock arrives and you can let us know when you can pick this up. When I was away I was ...aware that my number probably wouldn't work as I am overseas so as a responsible customer I dropped the store emails letting them know that I can pick up the product after I land back in Melbourne. Once I arrived I went to store to pick up my order (Nobby) and to my surprise the the order was cancelled. The staff asked me to re-send them the emails as they denied they got any of the emails. After resending the emails twice the response I got was " Due to technical glitch we must have missed the email". after that it's been 4 times that I have visited the store for a resolution, but haven't got to any final resolution. I was told the Nobby setting will arrive in May end which doesn't suit me and I have been very patiently telling that I am ready to work with them to check out what other options I have. The store manager also refused to give me price match on any other item and later said take Nobby for the same price but wait till May It's frustrating to hear on my last visit when one of the staff members told me that the manager isn't available and he hasn't left any notes for us in system where as I was working with him (same staff) on my lat on my previous visits (2 hours) discussing what options they can give me. I call the store thrice yesterday to save myself some time and tell them how frustrated I am with all of this and they couldn't put me to manager. Overall it's been a long long time and I don't see any other option than posting here

Damaged furniture on delivery & poor customer care
We purchased two lounge suites 5 months ago, one was returned due to damage - that exchanged couch has lumpy seats and cushions, should be flat and smooth and was covered in pilling. Second lounge has been changed twice and was recently waiting for the third to arrive due to previous ones being damaged upon arrival, the third is also damaged - had been paying for a lounge for 5 months that we don’t have. Delivery company damaged our home upon one of the exchanges and aren’t being cooperative to repair the damages - 6 month old home. I’ve chased...Amart this whole time to get no where and be ignored then told my emails had started being deleted! Offered $300 compensation for a nightmare 5 months. Amart have not been compassionate, considerate or helpful throughout this ordeal! Will never shop at Amart again! Disgusting. Still have a damaged lounge and still have a damaged house. Amarts communication is very poor!
DISSAPOINTING QUALITY “BIG 0” RATING had to do 1 star which is another trick.
Worst quality I’ve ever purchased. The side rails feel like they are made with cardboard. Absolute rubbish for the price we’ve paid. Customer service was useless, had to wait for replacements and then by rude delivery people who cannot even speak properly, forget politely. Most unhappy and Will make sure we never shop here again. NEVER buy rubbish from this place again, FIRST AND LAST. Pictures speak for this product. Same story with 2 bedroom suites purchased here.
Good overall service and value
Store is spacious with ample choices and staff was helpful in taking orders. I had to wait months for my order which I can accept because the shipment did arrive on time. 1st delivery was a floor stock 3 seaters recliner, they sent 2 small guys to do the delivery and they struggled to lift it, I ended up had to help and the seat got ripped because they took off the plastic protection. Spoke to the delivery manager and he politely apologized and offer store credit and now received after 3 weeks, at least they have done something to rectify. If ...you think Ikea stuff take effort to assemble, some of Amart furniture will be even harder. Bought the Majesty set and each one has so many parts to assemble and the items are so heavy. The saving from purchasing this set ended up hiring people to assemble them. Instruction was either incorrect or missing pages(see pic). You get what you pay for, the cheap price means they use laminated wood even though they look good and real, look closer and the finish are not great. I am not complaining since I am like the price range but not sure how long they will last.
Silverwood - Might as well be called Cheapwood
Have owned a silverwood bed and desk set now for two years.
I would not recommend my worst enemy ever shops at Amart!!!
Our bed which we paid thousands of dollars for two years ago, fell a part on one side about a year ago. So we fixed by drilling new screws and gluing the wood where it split. Now two years later the other side had fallen off whilst we were sleeping on the bed! You can image the fright when I nearly died falling off the bed! For $2000 we expected to sleep on it for at least 5 years. The desk is the same and the wood has split after two years, basically not usable and sits in the garage as storage .... moral of the story never shop Amart again!
Should have read the review first before buying
Purchased a queen bed from their store in Hoppers Crossing. It was delivered last 15 January, 2020. We're so excited as this is my child's first bed only to be disappointed with scratches on the headboard. What's worse is that I can't assemble it because of the missing 4 nuts for the support rail. Called their customer care and I was told to take photo of the defects and send it to them together with the photo of the P/O. Send it to them immediately on the same day of the delivery and got a reply that they will get back to us 72hrs after the receipt of the email of the photos. Until now, I haven't heard from them.
I should have read the review first before buying from them.
I will not recommend this company.
Very bad experience cheap and fake products
I had very bad experience.i bought 15k worth of furniture from hoppers Crossing store.when I bought they told us furniture has 10 years warranty.i have purchased additional warranty on lounge and I bought most expensive mattress worth of 3k but after using for about a year I felt it not good as I bought it year back.it become very uneven in one side and very hard to sleep on it.
Excellent customer service
Purchased a bedroom suite to use in a spare bedroom in our house, when we unpacked the goods found some damage to the bedside table. Contacted Amart and within the hour we exchanged the damaged item with a replacement unit. The Manager even contacted us personally as we were returning to the store to advise us that the replacement unit was ready to be collected at despatch.

Terrible! Only delivered half a couch
Amart Furniture what a joke! Only half our couch delivered even though we paid for it a week ago, the lady in store confirmed everything was in stock!!
Had to flag down the delivery drivers to tell them were missing a piece for them to reply oh yes we know, we werent given a piece, you will need to call the store Called amart and they said they will need to find the missing piece... Probably in your warehouse in Campbellfield that shouldve been loaded this morning! Why wouldnt they have checked off the items when loading or shouldnt the two delivery guys checked their truck before they left?
Worst service and experience ever
Terrible experience and unaccepted behaviour and attitude of customer service. Your customer is standing to gently ask for your information about the product and you are sitting on the bed to answer without a glance and having eye contact with your guest.
Resolved an issue
I purchased the Chanelle bed suite from Super Amart in Campbellfield and was very impressed with the customer service I received on-the-day. I was told that if the package went on sale after purchase that I could call the store have the difference taken off my remaining balance. Sure enough the price dropped within the week I paid for it and the store made good on their word. After that, it took approximately 2 months for my goods to be available, which suited me. The warehouse called me to organise a day for delivery and after a bit of back-an...d-fourth over the available delivery day, we settled on a Saturday. When the items were delivered, it was a quick and efficient process and I was given plenty of warning about the delivery time including a window in which the delivery driver would arrive, a phone call 30 minutes before and a tracking link so I could see where the van was. This was very impressive compared to my delivery experiences with Harvey Norman or Focus on Furniture. After the items were delivered and we unpackaged them we were instantly disappointed by the quality of the products. The entire bedside draw corner was smashed in, even though it had been in layers upon layers of packaging. Our tallboy was unstable and nails were visible on the top. The other bedside table was also chipped. After providing imagery to the Customer Service team and following up with them after about a week on silence on their end. I was offered replacements for all items and again, after a bit of back-and-fourth on a delivery day, the items were delivered and were in good knick. I had been advised that the items were checked before they left the warehouse this time which is was helpful. Super Amart furniture is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for". The customer service at the Campellfield store was fantastic from beginning-to-end, communication from the customer service head office team needs some improvements as do the warehouse staff facilitating deliveries. Overall I'm really satisfied with my experience. The packaging is a bit excessive and their should be some recyclable option were you can return packaging to store etc...
Do not buy EAGLEFIELD 3 drawer filing cabinet.
Buying furniture from Amart is easy, good customer service, all very quick and efficient. We have bought a few pieces, large items no problems with putting them together, although the quality of products are low. The eaglefield came with no instructions, after a phone call they emailed the wrong ones, another phone call, right instructions this time, the instructions were confusing, difficult to follow. We have put IKEA & FREEDOM furniture together without any difficulties. Quality of this produce is very low, we found customer support to be poor. (never received bolt kit we were promised as pieces were missing)
We purchased an amazing couch a little while back, very spacious, comfy and at a very fair price! The customer recieved by Emily was also very good which just added to the whole shopping experience.
The worst customer service and product quality
When you're buying they will tell you that their products have long term warranty
But when you find some issue later you will be dealing with the worst customer service ever and they always try to find a way to make it your mistake not their poor quality furniture
Save your time and money and don't bother to even look at their stores
I went for EOFY sales. I received a quote for a 3 piece learher lounge then s different quote for the same suite. But after I firmly advised the previous quote everyone ran around until it was a done deal. Overall a good experience.
3 days notice not to deliver our goods that were paid for and organised 2 months prior
The store contacted me today with 3 days notice to say they could not deliver our furniture this Saturday which we have paid for and organised 2 months prior. We are moving into our new home this Saturday now my kids and my husband and I have no beds to sleep in,
Terrible customer service I have had 3 prior phone calls from their store saying it was confirmed now today to recieve this phone call is terrible , happily took our money for payment, will never shop at smart again and never recommend to anyone stay away do not buy from here
Terrible customer service!
Had an issue with a delivery. Sam the store manager at the Knoxfield (vic) store was extremely rude and unwilling to help. Her attitude was terrible and only when I mentioned calling head office did she show any interest or try to fix the issue. Will never shop at Amart again. The experience was so bad... this is actually the only time in my life that I have left a review. Don’t expect to much service at this store.
Pass the buck don't care about the customer
Absolute worst customer experience ever, We bought a Sleepeeze mattress 12 months ago and have been getting back pains. When calling Amart they passed the buck onto Sleepeezee, When calling Sleepeezee they turned around and passed it back onto Amart. When calling Amart i was told i was Unfortunate and they could not assist me even though on there invoice there was a 10 year Guarantee, after speaking To Ollie the customer service consultant and getting no where I Asked to Speak to a team leader on numerous occassions anjd was denied this After s...aying I would go to the ACCC i was told Im more than welcome. I asked for a copy of the recording and was denied this to Very Sad to see such poor customer service and non care. I have left a message at Headoffice to get the area manager John to call me lets see what happens next...a few hours later I have had a call but nothing resolved yet I will do as asked and let you know how it goes
bad quality produts
bad quality products. I bought a suite 8 months ago. Chairs start broken and store do not even agree to change their bad products . they do not even care for their customers. selling bad products. Highly dissatisfied
