No one knows what they are doing
Got a sofa a couple of years ago from mentone store which is now closed.2 one of the metal legs snapped off.Replaced it twice from Frankston store.Happened again Sent email to them got a replacement sofa offer and got told I can keep the ones I have.Went into the Frankston store to get a replacement as I dont have a sofa to sit on at home .One of the girls too the broken part off me and told me she will follow up with spare parts department and call back Monday.No call back and when I called to ask what has happened no one knew what was happeni...ng and was told the broken part was in the bin and to go to springvale to get it all sorted out.I know its all franchise but this is ridiculous and then they wonder why business is not so good in the stores.This is why Amart.

Bought 2 coffee table,1sofa set,1 entertainment unit..I was told by the sales person all furniture except the 1 coffee table( MDF wood) comes prefitted....when this arrived it came in carton boxes and the delivery person said they don't assemble them and pointed to a small invoice which mentions " ready to assemble"..very disappointed and discouraged...I wasn't at home at that time of delivery, wife and kids could not do anything..who knows what's inside the carton box...what I i find any damages in the furniture,transporting back will be my e...xtra expense..anyway waiting for a call back from that untruthful salesman tomorrow,items still inside the carton box..very poor service....don't recommend Amart for the service...The other coffee table we had to fix ourselves ( Esko Coffee Table) does not fix perfectly...We blamed ourself for that poor fitting,then looked up Amart website https://www.amartfurniture.com.au/esko-638580192/ to find the actual product image is also Ill fit...what do I do Got a refund for Esko coffee table,had no hasle with that

Disappointed discussed at customer service
Customer service lady kept me on hold till the phone was out of service hours , disappointed filthy service horrible horrible and I still don’t have my furniture after waiting a week and for it and paying 150 delivery fee, I paid now where is it ?!? It was meant to be delivered today I’ve waited a week !!
Return of furniture
We had a couch we were not happy with it was like planking every nite and an out door setting that did not match existing furniture.....
AMART returned everything gave us brand new couch without any questions I can highly recommend them always good service at Frankston stor aswell ......10 out of 10

Rude Arrogant Sales Staff In Frankston Store
We went to the store on 05/07/17 to organise a refund for the corner lounge we purchased 1 and a half years ago which starting to fall apart. We went to the counter and spoke to the rude arrogant angry sales girl which I spoke on the phone prior to get information about the lounge. My wife questioned about the warranty claim and this woman ignored and pretended like she cannot hear what my partner was asking. Rude woman started telling us that she's new to the store and told me I did not give her specific information about the couch which as a ...sales person she should provide a customer the correct information, so I told her "it’s your fault you did not ask me the specific details and it was your fault". She was playing the poor me card mentioning not to yell at her at the same time she was yelling louder at me and told me to GET OUT from the store otherwise she going to ring the police. Yes I got out from the store after I told her where to go at the same time. Store manager was kind enough to ask what the problem was and that was the only person on the floor working as we wanted to possibly purchase a new bed for our daughter before we dealt with the issue at the counter. We were inside the store for 15-20 minutes prior to the dilemma no one bothered to ask whether we need any help. *We bought lots of furniture from this store over the years staff and the management used to be really good. Now there's bunch of rude and arrogant sales staff running the joint. Maddox CORNER LOUNGE (arm rest snapped in half) Upgrade San Marco corner lounge falling apart 10 year warranty discontinued product offered 500 dollars refund to keep the lounge as it is to shut the customer’s mouth. Hard wood furniture is ok. Stay away from the couches/lounges from this place Good luck SUPER AMART FRANKSTON you lost a valued customer. Your sales will sky rocket thanks to your rude staff.
I would like to say a big thank you to Sourabh from the Frankston store, he went above and beyond to make sure we got the couches we wanted as they were sold out across the state. He was so great to deal with!
The reason I took a star off is because the couches were missing some screws when they arrived. We were able to attach the legs of the couch without the screws but it is a little frustrating that they were missing.

purchased a lounge suite not expensive.arrived due date went to assemble no legs for one unit,phoned store same day as delivery,which was a Saturday.they sent a email to spare parts Queensland.not received till Thursday.WOW

I have just spent over 2000 on a lounge suite only for the delivery date to be wrong had a day off work waited all day it never arrived.. Yesterday it arrived set it up and its broken contact store to be told we will send someone out if it deemed reparable we will.. What the hell it's not 24 hours old I don't want it repaired I want a new one No sorry they say [name removed] the office manager so rude I'm seeking legal advice Frankston Amart have been terrible. Why should it be repaired could take up to a week or more I didn't pay over 2 grand for something to be repaired within 12 hours of being in my home... I feel they should replace it am I wrong.
what you see in the store is not what you get after you wait weeks to get it, that's the whole idea you forget what the quality was like when you bought it, the stores has a stronger construction of couches and when you get it, cheaper made that looks similar. density of the sponge is firmer in store softer when you get it springs are stronger in the store sag when you get it I spent 5k in one go on different items but regret it. the products are ok but not worth the price to produce I think they make good money on what they sell.

We purchaced 2 lounge suites at once. The sales man was very friendly and helpful while in store !. I usually shop at King or Nick Scali but happen to walk past and see something that looked good , wasn't ever planning to even look in there. What caught my eye was a lounge with the perfect colour cushions made out same fabric as couch so asked if they came with , sales man assured my husband and myself yes, which surprised me so I asked again at counter and was assured..Only to be delivered without and then when I called store was told in no un...certain words , we are liar's! Salesman was so incredibly rude.I was so taken aback.It was the principle of the situation, not the cost.The cushions are worth nothing.I have worked in customer service all my life and owned my own store for the past 6 years, I was appalled. Please get everything you see in writing.

Amart create their own rules
upon visiting the Frankston store for a quick and easy purchase (under $35) when trying to pay for the item without all my details, I was told that if I didn't supply all my personal details including telephone number and address, my item wouldn't be covered for a refund even if faulty. I stated that this was in fact quite illegal and I only wanted to just pay for it. In saying this, the sales girl was extremely pleasant and helpful, simply relaying what she has been told to say by management. To find an on the spot resolution, I examined my i...tem where there were no problems with it and said ok, its fine so no need to come back for a refund and purchased it without passing on my details. I could understand if perhaps I was purchasing a washing machine or a $3000 lounge suite however for a $30 item,this is purely fishing for details so I can be hassled at a later time with emails.i then contacted management via email where I quickly received an email from the management stating how sorry he was but it was their policy. I then emailed head office over 2 months ago. No reply! To Amart stores anywhere, I don't care what your policy is, its illegal to demand personal information to warrant a refund on a faulty item when supplied with the receipt and within the time frame. Wont be visiting Amart in Frankston because of their attitude and bullying tactics.
