Careless and unprofessional!
I recently bought my living room and bedroom furniture from super A mart hoppers crossing.The delivery came in three different trucks at three different times of the day which we were totally unaware of and not at all advised of by the team member at super a mart as a result of which we had to pay extra to the guy who came to assemble our furniture to come back next day and assemble the ones that were delivered late in the evening around 6:30-7:00pm.
On top of that the finance team charged the credit card twice!!! .We spent a total of $38...00 at the hoppers crossing store where as they charged my credit card two different payments .First payment of $3800 for the furniture that we bought and then a second payment of $3080 for something which we never purchased.Because of this my credit card went over the limit and the credit card company blocked my credit card.Because we had just moved into this new house we needed that card to purchase other important items for the house but just because of their carelessness we had to suffer and couldn't buy all of that.The card is still blocked and we are still unable to use it for another couple of days.We went back to Super Amart and all they could say or do is to apologize which i personally feel is not enough for all the trouble we went though because of their carelessness,I am planning to take this further and thinking of lodging a formal complaint at ACCC and fair trade for the inconvenience they caused us and for all the trouble they put us in..

Bought a (2 bedroom set) 4 piece bedroom set and bunk bed for kids. They have those zero interest installment type of payment. We availed and payed half and the rest should be via installment. Stock took a while and when the delivery is available. They do not like to release until payment was done.
You're seeing all the reviews here proving how bad the way they do business and tricking customer.
hoppers crossing superamart is joke
i bought my whole set of furniture worth about$5000 from this store.they were supposed send me my missing item on my second delivery same day but they did not.i had told them clearly that i will not be home next day.but next day they call me said your delivery is on your way please conform your address..... on my first delivery also same thing happen i had send them email one earlier that i will not be in home tomorrow but i got a call saying you got a delivery please conform your address.

Bought the ashleigh lounge march 2016, Day one structural was week and found out wrong model was sent so another arrangement took place.
Second time wrong old model again but we were assured that they checked it. Didn't have a couch for a month.
Third time finally it arrived wrong again and dust cover ripped and it's already June 2016 hopefully by this upcoming Christmas we can have this right!
At least We have the next 6 months to cut and dumped all the boxes and packaging that came along with it, plus to fix the door they scrapped and door hinges they wrecked.
To all please, If you want to save petrol, money and most of all time, please learn from this experience.
Mattress causing muscles pain
My wife purchased a queen size mattress more than a year ago, we thought it was a great mattress with a very nice and comfortable feeling then. That feeling didn't last few months till I started to feel the mattress is no longer straight, yet hang up to explain. When I need to get out of bed in the morning I need to push high and cling my hand to the edge to get that push, that means the slope of the surface goes towards the centre of the mattress, got the idea? Simply the weight of the body on the mattress will cause kind of a hole which accom...modates one body comfortably but the other body will lay on the edge of the sloped mattress. (Can't explain more).... However, lately I started to feel a strange pain in my back which evolved to the the chest, I became worried (so worried indeed) that made me to go to ED in suspicious of minor heart attack, all tests done and I was cleared. Funny enough to notice that after my ED heart test I went away for three weeks and surprisingly the pain at the back and chest just disappeared, and I came back two days ago and I just started to have the pain back. This to me all about the uncomfortable sleep I have at night which strains my back and chest muscels. Now, I have to get rid of it and buy a new mattress. My question: aren’t mattresses under 5/10 or so years warrantee… What options do I have with super Amart. Can this mattress be replaced. It wasn’t cheap at all to buy it. Not happy.
rubbish quality product for high price be aware !!!
I bought the Spartacus 6 seater corner suit from super amart hoppers crossing victoria for $1995 with 3 years warranty and after 3 month I realised that the recliner start to look crooked until it became obvious when the recliner is closed the couch looks terrible and uneven from the front and on the side you see a big gap that I can put my hand through very bad and when its open its so crooked and very bent I've contacted super amart which they sent someone to check it out and he said that the whole mechanism is bent and it needs to be chan...ged as I've done some researches on the product I found that these couches are made with wide sitting and the mechanism that are installed are too thin and weak comparing with the couch size they offered to replace the mechanism but I wasn't happy and I refused as what is the point of changing the mechanism if its going to get wrecked and bent after 3 month later I told the manager that I'm not happy with this product and I don't want to go through this headache again I would like to exchange this couches for different reliable ones and I'm willing to pay difference as I don't have the time to contact you guys every 3 month and fill up forms and someone comes again to inspect and repair he was very rude and refused rudely which means I have to be stuck with very poor quality couches and contact them every 3 month to get them repaired for 3 years until the warranty expires very poor quality and customer service , be aware everybody I don't recommend it to anyone I'm not buying from super amart again you see a nice product on the outside with very bad quality on the inside high price for cheaply made product / quality .
Helpful customer service
After looking for weeks for a lounge suite, we finally found one that suited our house for style, comfort and looks. Disappointment set in quickly as after 2 months the cushions were wearing poorly and it was decided we would go back to the Hoppers Crossing store to complain. We had no cause to worry about any arguments as they understood how we felt and they were happy for us to replace/repair or choose a different suite completely, which was what we did. Peter could not have been more helpful and understanding and helped to ease any stress fr...om the situation. I would have no problem recommending Super Amart to deal with as I found Peter and Michael were fantastic to us. I pictured things to be far more difficult. Many thanks to Peter for guiding us through this problem smoothly.
Went into the Hoppers Crossing store and needed a new lounge and the sales guy I think he was the manager? Brent was so helpful and patient in helping me pick the right one and size etc. that would fit into my living room. Considering I had came from Harvey Norman where the girl there just couldn't be bothered with my questions, it was very refreshing. Would recommend.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have recently purchased few items from AMART, Hopperscrossing. I am completely dissatisfied and shocked by the way Braint behaved on the day of our purchase 30/12/15. He was not at all interested to attract customers to buy goods rather in a hurry to cancel our order. We said we need few minutes to think and decide. He was showing lot of attitude telling us ," I am busy man". SO what. We need ourr time to decide what we are going to buy. We don't need to be pressured. It's our choice. Finally when we decided to purchase few items in a living...package deal, he said the goods will be delivered on 2/1/15 Saturday.However, it was not delivered on Saturday. When we contacted the AMART, we been informed that the delivery will happen only after full payment. Braint didn't inform this to us at the time of purchase. Again we have to reschedule all our plans. This man is an absolute show piece in the shop. With his attitude AMART may loose its customer. I will never recomment AMART to any of my friends- specially AMART Hoppers crossing.
Went into the Hoppers Crossing store today to buy my mother a lounge suite, was served by Sam, who gave us friendly helpful service.
My mother is very happy with lounge, the price and with Sam for giving us extra customer service which I appreciate.
Discount policy confusion - deliberate?
We ordered a Rocco recliner suite on 29 March 15 and were advised delivery would take 7-9 weeks. At the time of placing the order we were told that if the suite were to be advertised on a discount before it arrived we could claim the reduced price and they would honour it.
This week the suite was advertised at a reduced price so we called to see what needed to be done to get the reduced price. We were then told that if we were to claim the reduced price we would have to wait a further 7-9 weeks as it would be re-ordered if we wanted the discounted price. This was not stated at the time of purchase and would mean a wait of 14-18 weeks.
Sick & tired of waiting
Purchased 3 seater lounge with 2 recliners all the way back in January. Had 3 seater delivered & advised that need to wait couple of weeks for the recliners due to stock. Since then have received excuse after excuse still have not received both of my recliners.. Nearly a quarter of a year since purchase. Oh yeah their good at selling the item on site, quick to take your money, but once they have it they can take their time getting the goods to you. I have purchased plenty of furniture during my life. Yes once or twice there have even been delay...s of a week or 2, but 3 months of waiting & still being stuffed around. Worse than that more often than that it's left to me to chase up with the store as to where the items are. I have never experienced a worse service, nor experienced this level of delays from any store I've purchased furniture from & it is just not exeptable to be left hanging for months on end to receive the goods you paid for in full, at the store you purchased them from. Will never purchase another item from super AMART.
Will never consider a purchase from this company in future
Bought a dining set and was told that courtesy trailers where available. Took the day off work and went to pick it up when it arrived 2 weeks later. When i got there i was asked did you book the trailer? Sorry we don't have any. I was never informed that the trailer had to be booked either when i payed my money or when they rang to tell me it was in store. When i enquired if there was any dining sets and trailers available in another store the sales manager could not even be bothered making a phone call, i guess i now know what the "A" stands for. Well thanks for wasting my time and thanks for the refund. I will never be back and will never endorse you Super A-Mart
