Easy booking process
The booking process was easy however the hotel got the required bedding configuration wrong initially (3x). Staff were friendly however the room did not meet our expectations. Not very clean & does not deserve its 4* rating.

Do not book
I have recently asked AMOMA to book us a family room on a 4-star high-ranking hotel in Gold Coast, Australia, and paid around $500 (reservation number 40817447 -- we are genuine customers), but they instead booked us on an unpleasant backpackers' hotel; now, they are refusing to refund us and ruined our holidays. Note that it appears that they are starting to do this (just google for similar complaints). When popular hotels are full, they book you in a cheap hotel nearby (we have proof that they paid significantly less than $500 to the backpack...er place), then charge you the same price and expect you to take the offer. We are trying to fight these corporate monsters through ombudsmen and local courts. Please help in any way possible to stop them.

I just called my Bali hotel for confirmation only to be told that are Amoma cancelled my booking without my knowledge after I paid in full $800.

Yes same thing has happened to us. I'm $1500 out of pocket. Hope you have travel insurance. Alternatively contact your bank to see if they can do anything. You will need to rebook and pay in the mean time. AMOMA have gone out of business, therefore you cannot contact them.
hi amoma.. we are in the hotel and they want us to pay again with our stay.. but we have a confirmed booking with you.. pls help us on this?no means to pay again... pls...
Amoma has gone bankrupt. Having been informed by Amoma that they had ceased trading, we contacted the hotel that we booked & paid in march earlier this year via Amoma.. The hotel confirmed that a third party had advised them that our reservation had been canceled, but they had not received the money....We therefore had to book again (directly with the hotel) and we will have to pay a second time (when we stay there, in 3 weeks). We had no choice but to choose this solution.
We will probably enquire if our Credit Card company can cover this
i booked a hotel in istanbul 2 weeks ago and paid through Amoma.
Hotel says booking not confirmed as at today.
