Bedside manner???

Even after I told ANZ that I needed urgent medical supplies for my mother today, they refused to lift the restrictions on purchases. Shame on you ANZ. Thanks for nothing

Great first card

published

Really good card. I started off with Westpac and switched to ANZ as they had Apple Pay. Very similar to other entry level cards but it’s perfect for wanting a low limit for everyday use and pay it off at the end of the month. Love not having to keep transferring money for bills

Good for first time credit card holders

published

This was the first credit card I ever had. It was a good beginner card as it has low fees/interest and it is catered for low income earners (15k I recall) as well as pensioners and students who if had applied for another card would not have met the income threshold. It has nicely detailed bills which explain the minimum monthy repayment which is always good to have worked out for you by the bank but it also the option to pay your balance in full.
Another perk is the starting limit on the card itself is $1000 which is enough to start off with. The limit increases in due time as you show the bank that you can maintain a consistent repayment of the cards account and also for extra income etc.

Great. The whole family uses ANZ. Never had a problem and simple to use with payment services like Paypal.
I use it for everything from paying bills, to shopping and even ordering Pizza.

works well enough

dont use it overseas nor balance transfers. got it at 18 as my first credit card - low annual income needed and super low fee. heard new changes have been made to it increasing the interest fee period from 44 days to 55 days. integrates well into the mobile app.
