Was Ok at start then went bad
Note: I will be switching to a different card very soon.
The ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum started off with 2 cards a Visa and Amex (pictured above) with the Visa getting 1 point per $ spent and Amex getting 2 points per $ spent.
The Amex was removed and the Visa now only gets half the points it did per dollar before or .75 up to $3000 spend!
Qantus points are very variable in how much they are worth but I don't think I am using them enough to cover the additional cost of the card.
This card costs $295 (at time of writing) which is considerably ...
I recently saw that I was charged around 300.00 per year for this card. When I asked if they could do better since I was a long standing customer, they were not interested. So card cancelled and I can get the same at CBA for 50.00. And I get more points for dollars spent. So ANZ lift your game.
Questions & Answers
Does my ANZ Rewards Black international travel insurance (I bought return tickets to UK with the card last August) cover illness arising from Corona Virus while overseas or upset travel plans if they are affected by this pandemic
I have anz platinum card how do i find out what fees I am paying?
Ring anz and ask. They have a duty to tell you and they will tell you when it’s due.
I have never trusted the ANZ travel insurance and always purchased a seperate policy ,This time however having spent well in excess of $250 on my card Im going to go with the card insurance ,Do I need to advise any department of my departure and return dates ,Should I have a problem what number do I call and is it toll free from the USA
I also have not been brave enough to trust ANZ insurance either it does say you just must use card to buy ticket but I would think you would have too advise insurance.
